Lolimar
This tut is how to holo the names of cards with ease on Gimp! First, copy this holo sheet.[spoiler=The holo sheet] Start off by opening your card and open the layers tab. Just press Ctrl + L to open it up also.[spoiler=If you don't know where the layers tab is] Now select the Fuzzy Select tool.[spoiler=It is located here] With it, click on the first letter. If it doesn't go over the full letter, drag it a tiny bit until it does. Right click and slelect Edit > Paste Into. Now look at your layers tab and set the opacity tab to 30.0.[spoiler=It should look like this so far] Now do it to the rest of the letters.[spoiler=At the end, you should see this] Hope you enjoyed this tut! + reps appreciated. Edit: Thanks to Alf for telling me the layers shortcut.

Lolimar
There is no dialog thing on my gimp Hmm.. Probably using a different version than me. Look around for a layers tab. It may be somewhere else then.
~Ghost Rare~
When i copy it and change opacity and then go to do next letter it just dissappers
Lolimar
Hmm.. Try using a higher opacity. If that doesn't work, try using dodge mode instead of changing opacity. [spoiler=Where dodge SHOULD be located..]
ŞťřïЖЄѓ™
It's a very intresting tutorial, but I would rather paste the holo sheet on first, make it not visible, fuzzy select a letter, use the add to selection fuzzy select tool so the rest of the letter get's added to the selection when I click the rest of the letter, make the holo sheet visible, invert the selection, press delete, do the dodge or opacity step, which ever looks best, and do the whole thing again for my letters. Apart from that, very intresting tutorial!!! ;)
Mehmani
When i copy it and change opacity and then go to do next letter it just dissappers Use Dodge. If you want Layers tab, hold down the "Control" button and press L at the same time. It will come up.
