Brushfire
Since when? Check around for press-releases and read between the lines- not only for Nintendo but for Sony and Microsoft too. They all plan to release a new console by 2012.
Light Flash
Edited. I think Sony and Mircosoft are planning to release a Playstaion 4 and Xbox 720 even though I'm not sure though.
Neiko
lolno. We don't need a seond Wii. I'd appreciate it if we went back to the old way of playing games. Controller attached to the cosole.
Light Flash
Yeah but I think Nintendo will go futuristic, instead of a controller, gameplay might be a camera (Like the Eyetoy) instead of a controller. :( Nintendo are trying so hard to keep up with Mircosoft and Sony. Flame Dragon
lolno. We don't need a seond Wii. I'd appreciate it if we went back to the old way of playing games. Controller attached to the cosole. Seeing as how none of this gen of consoles has that I really don't think that will happen. In any case the reason why 2012 seems like a likely year for the next gen is simple. Gens last for about 6 years. Last gen went from 2000 to 2006. So this will likely go to 2006 to 2012 But that is kind of off topic. The next gen of the consoles is a ways off so it really hard to say what it will hold.
Phantom Roxas
lolno. We don't need a seond Wii. I'd appreciate it if we went back to the old way of playing games. Controller attached to the cosole. Wireless is completely awesome, and you cannot deny that. Nintendo≠Sony, so I highly doubt it will be called "Wii 2". Light Flash
That would be awesome, what if they create a SSB Series game where you can use the Wii Fit or something, some people want to be in the middle of the game (experence the in a real life sorta way)

texaschickenlittle
Nintendo is not making their next gen console, due to the fact that most companies are not making a profit on these systems. It will probably be about 8 years before we see a new console on the market. Besides, Nintendo is known to milk as much money as they can out of a system. Look at this article: http://www.edge-online.com/news/analyst-no-new-console-cycle-before-2013 Also, look at the date of the article you posted Light Flash, it is about 10 months old. What industry experts believe is that Nintendo's Research and Development department is making an HD compatible Wii which will probably be released in 2011
Cyber Altair
Hopefully not. Anyway a 3rd part company is developing a camera for recording signals for the 360 so your the styles. God I hate that idea. Gaming should stay gaming goddammit. Also' date=' look at the date of the article you posted Light Flash, it is about [b']10 months old[/b]. texaschickenlittle
You can buy the charger for about $20 - $30 instead of spending $4 - $8 dollars every week for batteries. It pays off in about a month of two.
