Well I challenged the Elite 4 and lost against Lance so your prediction was wrong. Its because none of my pokemon knew a Ice move, but I made Quagsire learn blizzard so I'll challenge him tomorrow.

 

Sudowoodo and Magneton should have destroyed Lance. :/

Magneton died against Gyrados because his waterfall kept flinching the s*** out of him.

Waterfall, iirc, has a 10% flinch rate. It's not excessively high, so you should disregard it when using it.

 

None of my Pokemon are even level 40 yet. <___<

Just save right before you catch it, and reset until it's shiny.

Its like how Rock Climb causes confusion.

 

The opponent's pokemon has its mind blown as it watches your pokemon try to climb an immaginary wall.

I caught four shiny legends on my Diamond. You see, I have no life. I have enough time to soft reset that much.

 

Uhh, it should usually take around 1 to 2 hours to get a shiny. Don't even hope for a good-natured shiny unless you have a Synchronizer.

Days for me, only tried twice, Ho-oh's my third.

 

Don't even hope for a good-natured shiny unless you have a Synchronizer.

This may be old but in my Crystal game my Typhlosion knows Flamethrowe, Fire Blast, Earthquake and Thunder Punch. A perfect Sweeper for Pokemon Stadium 2's Blaine's Gym.

I've got all from Fuschia to Lavender to battle through, I'm a bit down by the lack of people who wanna register numbers in Kanto. Probably got a fair way to go before I battle the E4 for the second time. Maybe collect Phone Numbers from Gym Leaders first.

If your team is at those levels you should have an easy time beating Blaine, Blue, and the E4.

 

Team 60/61, I probably will beat Blaine soon, if Froslass wasn't next in queue to go up a level (I set them by EXP required to next level, with highest first, so I don't really even employ strategy to win lol). 10 Levels of that is just by doing Kanto. I've yet to really do the Rock Tunnel, might do that later.

 

Before I go the E4 I might as well beat Clair and Lance at the Dragon's Den.

 

I'm training my Larvatar... TAKING FOREVER!!! Must... use... friend's copy of Pearl... to... use... RareCandy cheat...

This is why you use the Pal Pack.

Transfering like 3 Pokemon a day = 3 Rare Candies.

3 Rare Candies a day + constant E4 run throughs = easy Tyranitar

6 a day per game was the previous limit (DPPt). It's been removed this time to I think Unlimited by game as long as you catch the ones you transfer before transfering more

 

How is Feebas evolved on HG/SS? Just curious because I got fed up of trying last time I tried to get it without 'cheating'

 

I'm gonna include a Legendary in my next game playthrough just because I really <3 Giratina's Dragon/Ghostness. I would have used it DPPt, but Lv 70 is just pointless.

In the end I just spamed Flash + Feather Dance agnest his remaining Charazard, and then just laughed as it couldnt hit/damage my Pokemon.

Did you just beat the first time through? ROFL wait until the 2nd go around. Her Umbreon is in the 60's and the ONLY pokemon I was able to beat it with was my Scizor, because Scizor is amazing.

 

Lance is satanic on the second go around too. All of his Pokes are over 70! Of course....if you're a Level 100 or Legendary noob...it shouldn't be a problem.

Of course Scizor is amazing. Bullet Punch + Technician is freakin' broken.

Especially because he also knows Swords Dance >__>

 

Of course....if you're a Level 100 or Legendary noob...it shouldn't be a problem.

My teams never consist of 6 Legendaries.

I mean I ocasionaly use like 1 Legendary(or 2, if Im lazy). But thats about it.

 

Also, I plan to level up a Tyranitar. Mostly because I had a Garchomp back in Platinum ;)

It's Base 109 SpA and Base 84 Atk. So I guess it could work well as a mixed attacker.
