My competitive team :)

Seems good. No major weak points meaning no types that would do too much damage.

 

This is the team I plan on raising in HG

 

Arcanine(always)

Pikachu(always for E4)

Bellossom

Lapras

Noctowl

Snorlax

 

this will basically be an anti-Red team. Same layout except I have 1 water type

 

If you want anti-Red you should replace Snorlax with a Fighting type or teach Snorlax a strong Fighting move. His Snorlax won't go down easy if you don't.

No' date=' it still can, your just doing it wrong. Snorlax has a really good Sp DEF and HP. The HP can't be avoided, but it only has a base DEF of 65 so if something with high attack hits it with a high powered physical move it should take a decent part of it's HP out.

For Fissure to work your Pokemon will have to be 83+. It won't work it's 82-.

I hope Smeargle is the lead.

 

Also competitive teams go in general thread.

 

Tentacruel can be lead too, with Toxic Spikes, but Smeargle makes more sense, especially if it's a spiker.

For Fissure to work your Pokemon will have to be 83+. It won't work it's 82-.

I know or it won't hit. i might just go with counter. i have a male and female Snorlax on my Pearl so I can breed them on HG to it would know Counter

Why are Salamence' date=' Scyther, Scizor + Metagross so liked for teams (apart from appearance).

I can understand Charizard, Dragonite or Arcanine 'cos their stats are really high and types are pretty useful...

(Shuckle has the highest Def+Sp.Def stat xP That's odd to say it looks terrible).

 

 

P.S, I caught a Lv.50 Snorlax in one go with a Quick Ball =3 Mwaha.

Scyther isn't used that much.

 

Charizard/Dragonite/Arcanine hardly see competitive play.

 

Charizard because of Stealth Rock, Salamance does everything better than Dragonite, and I'm too busy to look at Arcanine's stats right now, so I'm just going to say Monferno is a way better choice.

Nite still has decent use. Really, he's still in the mid 20s in OU. That's better then half of my team.

 

And Charizard does have some use in OU. He's been in the 60s for as long as I can remember.

I restarted my SS, and I use headbut in Azalea.....AND FOUND A HERACROSS!!!!

 

I'm making him my main.

Has anyone noticed that you get the same level when you trade a pokemon to an in-game player?

 

I've noticed this 2 years + ago. I think it's been all the way through like that.

 

Upto waking Snorlax up now, I dislike how they moved the Machine Part from in the water to pool side....took me ages to check the actual floats, I do like the gym layout though. I decided to bypass the Rock Tunnel. Took me ages to remember I could just get to Lavender via Saffron...

Timid is probably the best for Lugia but Modest is good. The Sp.Atk boost is great but your defense gain will be halted a bit.

 

So like, I got a Male, Adamant Kabuto but it has Battle Armor instead of Swift Swim. Is there a way to pass the nature via breeding? Serebii says use an Everstone but on a Female or the Ditto. If I give it to Ditto will it pass Ditto's nature or Kabuto's nature?

Even with a Modest one of my own, that isn't the best nature. A defensive one is the way to go, but still Modest can be fun.

I find it incredibly hard to believe you beat Red with this.

Awww I never get the correct nature......

Oh Well I least....this is the first Shiny pokemon I encounter EVER....besides the obvious gyarados....So Im still happy.
