Make your Eevee a Jolt or Esp since those get the most help from it being Modest.

I'm going to say that it isn't that smart to have two pokemon that don't reach their final stage until they reach level 55. I say don't get the Larvitar. Also you can get Lapras in the bottom floor of Union Cave.

Yeah, I plan on getting Jolteon before LV29 so it can learn Double Kick.

Why not? They can be VERY helpful, and Dragonair is almost there. How powerful is said Lapras (what LV are they down there)?

Get the Larvitar. It'll help you in the long run.

Double Kick is rather bad...there are definately better options.

Lapras is 20.

Jolteon is Special Attack based, so there's no need for Double Kick.

I'd say get the Lapras now. It's Ice-type moves and solid stats will definitely help you progress in-game.

Later, you can train up that Larvitar. ^^

Your Eevee is Modest so DK is going to be useless since Jolt starts with a low ATK stat and that nature only makes it lower.

I only said that because having pokemon that aren't in their final stage can make the E4 very hard since your pokemon stats won't be very good. Yea I know T-Tar is a great pokemon, but it takes while for it to become great. If you really want it drop Krow.

So I went to Mt. Silver just to check it out, but I end up finding Red. All my Pokemon were Lv60something so I thought I had a low chance. I was already there, so I just decided to test him. I actually ended up beating him. =D

My team:

Lv65 Swampert

Lv65 Typhosion

Lv64 Gyarados

Lv61 Togekiss

Lv61 Ampharos

You don't need high-leveled Pokemon to beat Red. If you have an ounce of strategy in your veins (and your Typhlosion's moveset isn't Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Flare Blitz and some other Fire-type move), the Pokemon series in general is laughably easy.

...my Typhlosion's moveset is Flamethrower, Flame Wheel, Blast Burn and Swift. :/

It did rather well but I had better Pokemon to use.

That's basicly my Ty's move set. Thrower, Lava Plume, Rock Climb, and Eruption. It is bad. If anything I'll teach him Focus Blast for some coverage before I go for Red.

Yes, because having three Fire-moves on a Pokemon is always smart. :/

If you are repeating a type, at least make sure one is physical and one is special. And Blast Burn just... sucks.

My ty's moveset: Flamethrower, Eruption, Double-Edge, Fire Blast...=/ I need some TMs...

I know that. But Swift is a horribad move, and Blast Burn is repeating the same type for the third time, and is another special move.

Meh.

So, I'm still in need of a Groudon...one from the Embedded Tower.

I r wanting Shiny Rayquaza.

I don't know why I'm coming back again and again to this thread. I'm not playing anymore. The rom crashed even with the AR that prevented it. My save file is lost. I will not have HGSS in months if I don't get it from another country. Even if I get one, I don't have a DS, so whatever. I'll just wait for the next game...

I can now hack pokemon.

PM me for details. :D

Wanna start a pokemon hacking club? I've recently made an in-game sprite mod that lets you play as Riley and any other character. Not sure if it works on DS but it does work on emu. I've got a ??? Arceus and a level 224 Eevee with inf. stats. They work for DP/PT so far though.

Sorry Dark, but if this works, the Arceus trade is off. D:

The code is for the Movie 12 Arceus. It's holding a Dome Fossil though.
