I stole the flag from a repeatedly new gamed Diamond. I traded high level pokemon from my friends game to beat the elite four. Battle Tower was beaten for me since I don't have the attention span to use my team that long. The contest were legitimately won with a low level smeargle that was fed rich poffin

No. It only counts certain types of shakes for some reason. The paint mixer didn't help it. Neither did shaking it. I actually had to walk.

You can catch a Ditto right outside of Goldenrod City and breed that with Eevee (or any Eeveelution for that matter) for an Eevee egg. They take a while to hatch, but you can have each that way.

You can catch a Ditto right outside of Goldenrod City and breed that with Eevee (or any Eeveelution for that matter) for an Eevee egg. They take a while to hatch, but you can have each that way.

Get a Pokémon with Flame Body to speed up the hatching process. A Magmar in the Burnt Tower will work nicely.

My DS had a fight with my bottle of water (it leaked) it dried after a few hours and is working fine now. =D The monitors of my old school's PCs dried it out well, lucky it dried out before my friend decided to get a screwdriver to help me. That day was fun, made a difference from the normal boring forced in school frees.

Yep. I left it on my TV overnight since I was tired and pissed and was going to throw it away in the morning. I turned it on out of curiousity to see if it worked then and it did.

You can catch a Ditto right outside of Goldenrod City and breed that with Eevee (or any Eeveelution for that matter) for an Eevee egg. They take a while to hatch, but you can have each that way.

I was trying to find Yanma. Trust me that is a lot harder. In fact I found like 4 or 5 Dittos before I got my one Yanma. He was also a HUGE pain in the ass to train. In the end he has ended up being VERY helpful. It just took a long time.

As I was saying I felt the same way about a couple of my pokemon. In the end it works out. It's just getting their that is the pain.

 

 

Haven't really played pokemon. Going to start up again and make my final push for Red.

No, it really doesn't work out. Dratini's strongest attack atm is Dragon Rage, only because it 2HKO's everything up until this point. It sucks, I don't have any TMs to invest into it, it's SpA is shit, and it doesn't become decent until Lv55 where it evolves into 'Nite.

What Nature did you get? One thing I made a point for my in game team is to at least avoid bad natures. I didn't care if they were good, but I didn't want to give them a minus attack or special attack nature since that would just kill them.

 

It learns Dragon Rush at 35, Air gets it at level 39, so if you can wait that long you'll get a good move.

 

And speaking of Natures Modest loves me. I have a Lugia, Lapras, and Hoothoot, and Togepi all with that nature. That might not look like much, but since I've only have 30 pokemon (counting evos) that is a fair percent.

 

Also my Snorlax has an Adament nature which is also helpful.

If you want to make your Golbat love you, just pepper it with items and vitamins. Mine evolved at lv. 25.

 

Zubat sucks until he learns Bite. Then he's way easier to train.

After I beat Morty at the Eucrate... at the Eu city (already released those damn nature-hatin' dogs), I went to Mt. Mortar. Is that an optional area? Because when I came out, I was in Mahogany, which is the 7th gym. The trainers were roughly the same level, so I went to the lake of rage and got my Gyarados (didn't check its nature, but I'm not using it). Was all of this optional, since all the walkthroughs tell me to go from Eu city to the Olivine lighthouse? Or if it wasn't optional, did I do this too early? D:

 

Also, I met up with Lance and now I'm at the Rocket HQ or something. It's a nice place to grind, but I don't think I'm supposed to be there yet. :/

I think you can do the 5th to 7th gyms in any order. The fact that the general level of the pokemon in the wild and the gyms are all the same is one of the main reasons I think this. Just look at the gym leader list on the first page and you'll see that.
