Clair
Okay then' date=' Typhlosion, Lanturn, Noctowl, Furret, Scizor, and Umbreon. How's that?[/quote'] Ooh. Umbreon. ^^ I don't know about Furret, but the rest of the team is looking good. ;D (Maybe replace Furret with a Psychic-type?) Ok' date=' I'm going to break this Ampharos trend right now. EVERY ONE USE LANTURN. Please? Really, Lanturn is a good pokemon with two great Stabs and not many weaknesses.[/quote'] I like Lanturn. ^^ Sparking all the Swimmers en route to Cianwood while Surfing on it was pretty lulzy. But, I guess people don't want to wait that long for an Electric option, so they opt out for Mareep instead. But you don't really need an Electric. Yea it helps against the first gym, but he is still easy. You can use and Rock type and just laugh at him. And since I'm talking about Lanturn, and Rock types, my new SS team Yes I know it still has the 3 Ice Weak pokemon, but I don't really care. If anything it will make it harder. plus Lanturn can beat any Ice types since most are part Water and he takes 1/2 damage from their attacks.. Ah. You have a Crobat like me. ;D He's so underrated. There are better Fighting-Types than Hitmonchan, IMO. ^^'
Zeroshot
*Looks at Bulbapedia*O hai guise, did u know that Lanturn was from Johto? I've decided on a HG team, being Dragonite, Ampharos, Machamp, Donphan, Typhlosion and Snorlax, however I still need to level Machamp and Donphan (and aquire a Snorlax) ...Looking at them now, I believe I have the most overused team in the entire world... So yea, I had said I was going to rebattle the E4, but I then read that you need to beat Red to get the harder match. I was like "ok, that's fine, odds are at my current level I wouldn''t win." So I had nothing else to do since I've done most of the main game and I was like, lets battle the E4 for some training. Turns out I ended up playing against the upgraded E4. I was like, I'm going to loss, but lets she how far I can go. Right now I'm about to rematch Lance, and boy does it look like it will be fun. Current teamTyplosion: 58 (Eruption was a god send against Bruno of all people)Yanmega: 55Machamp: 53Donphan: 53Ampharos: 53 (going to use Choice Scarf + T-Wave to let Lapras Ice Beam right away)Lapras: 52 I'm going to have fun. And now I refuse to white out so I have saved the game and will just reset till I win. I won. :D Thank you 3 Max Revives. Sad that I had to use them. Also thank you Lapras, Ampharos, and Machamp for being able to take hits. Mostly the first two. In the end Champ and Lap both gained a Level. Lap almost gained two. But, yea, Lance was hard. I'm going to try to fix the Power Plant, so I can get that card and get the Snorlax out the way, so I can get my Kanto Starter and deposit my whole team and start anew. So far yes, and your right my Steelix is fun, it's my favorite pokemon of all, i had a hard time deciding what Fire move to give him, Flamethrower is stronger but it's a special move and Steelix is better with pysical moves like Fire Fang. Dark
I would happily use a Lanturn... except for the fact that I already have a water-type (Totodile chain). So Totodile/Mareep is probably the best early-game combo.

Zeroshot
I feel rather stupid. I didn't know that you can re-battle gym leaders more than once per day.I beat Blaine, like, 12 times and managed to raise Dragonite A WHOLE 6 LEVELS

.Frostpaw
Hey everyone, tune in to DJ Ben's radio show on Wednesdays for Hoenn Music, and on Thursdays for Sinnoh music. If you listen to Hoenn music while in tall grass on certain routes, you can encounter Pokemon from Hoenn. For example, Feraligatr is more physical based and is missing out on a shitload of type coverage. So if you get a special-based water type that has access to different movetypes than Feral, it could be quite beneficial to your team. But I didn't think that far ahead yet. :/
Dizzy~
Right now im considering to start my game over due to my under leveled pokemon/ my laziness to level them up.
