If your Tyranitar is OHKO'd by a Milotic's Surf, either Palmer is hacking or your Tyranitar is not EVd correctly. Sandstorm boosts Rock-type's SpD by 1.5x, so your Tyranitar should be specially bulky since you also have 252 HP EVs. So you should be able to survive at least one Surf (maybe two, depending on how much the RNG likes you), and relatiate with Crunch, Outrage, et cetera.

 

Gliscor easily dies, but you have to remember that with Brightpowder and Sand Veil, and you being faster than Milotic, you can set up Subs until Palmer misses, and then subsequently Double Team.

 

And Metagross can survive Surfs pretty well, so he won't be OHKO'd, or maybe he won't be 2HKO'd.

 

Again, if you don't like the Baton Pass strategy, use Smeargle abuse. The AI's in Battle Tower don't understand what "Sleep Clause" or "Evasion Clause" are. Use that to your advantage.

 

Due to the sheer fact of me being lazy, I'll WonderTomb the 100 wins of Battle Tower. But when I get around to it, I'll redo it with an actual team imported from Diamond. Because I usually hate hacking to beat something that is definitely possible.

 

So, I have two stars at the moment: the Elite Four one and the Pokeathlon one. Honestly, the people who say the Pokeathlon is bad are just stupid. It's an awesome extra feature in the game, and it's actually fun. <_<

 

My next priorities are Mewtwo, Moltres, Battle Tower, Red, Groudon, and Shiny Leaves.

 

And I really hope I can get all of that done before summer starts, since it isn't much to ask for.

Horn Drill is nothing unless you have a "Sure Hit pre-move" like Mind Reader or Lock On. And I'm bringing Snorlax because I need it to Rock Climb. And Seriously, Surf? It's just a straight shot up Mt. Silver.
