It's just that Ampharos is slow. You wanna beat Gyarados, you need an electric pokemon with both a high Sp. Atk and Speed.

Ampharos can usually take anything Gyarados can throw and NOT be OHKOd.

 

Or just slap on a Scarf, since Amphy won't be using any other attack against Lance. Unless it can learn Ice Beam.

Well I'm probably gonna train on and off to beat Red, and then restart in July, because I need to activate the Arceus event twice, all dependent on if I can get the WiFi working on my DSi when I go on hols. If not I'd probably add Salamence and Flygon instead of Dialga and Giratina.

If you have Shadow Ball you sure as hell don't need Crunch. Both have the same type coverage but Shadow Ball has STAB.

Can some one tell me how to do it again?

 

Also I'm looking for an Aggron, so if any one can help me with this one I'll really be happy.

Stealth Rock isn't useful on TTar because it's only 3 Pokemon, and chances are they won't be switching out too often. And I'm sure you can find a better move to fit that spot. Outrage, possibly? But nice ChestoRest combo.

 

I don't like your moveset for 'Gross. EQ and Bullet Punch are nice, but having both Elemental Punches seems weird. You can leave it, since it's amazing coverage, but consider Zen Headbutt over one of those.

 

And don't forget to PP Max all of your moves in case you come to some sort of stall war in the Battle Tower. Yeah... <_<

Put the Pokemon in the Pokewalker, and right before it saves, turn the game off.

 

Or something. I don't care enough to clone on my SS, since I can do it via AR on my Diamond.

Ice Punch was just there in case of any Flygon/Garchomp and other Ground types.

The AR one works. I use it almost every day to clone stones and stuff.
