Dosen't anybody care. I tried over and Over to catch Latias. I had nearly given up.

Other than that' date=' anyone have a Smeagle that knows Roar of Time, Spacial Rend, Sacred Fire and Aeroblast?

[/quote']

Why would anyone teach a Smeargle all that crap?

4 signature moves in one Pokemon is kinda epic, wouldn't you say, and I'm just asking.

Blue... was a horrible pushover. That was just a fail fight, but at least my Pokemon weren't too overleveled. Ahh, before I exit the gym, I need to plan out a route for the legendaries and Elite Four.

Absol seriously needs some more ATK in it. I'll buy some Proteins. I have like 200K in The National Pokemon Bank of Mothers.

The berries aren't useless. <_<

They weaken a super-effective move down to 50%. Meaning your Feraligatr can live through a Thunderbolt. Or your Meganium won't be 2HKO'd by a Flamethrower.

Yeah, but how are you supposed to know the route trainer's pokemon?

PS: Wer're talking about after you beat Blue

PSS: I don't know when you battle Blue, I'm thinking after all 16 badges but IDK

But compared to all the better items you could give a pokemon it doesn't really stand out. Plus, you have to make sure you're going up against that type of attacker or the Item Slot is kind of worthless in that battle.

Blue's the last Gym Leader, Red is who you need to beat after getting 16 Badges.

No, I'm pretty sure your mom will buy you stuff after Blue. I can't confirm that yet, though.

And almost everyone I know never use any sort of hold item in in-game play. So let's look at a hypothetical scenario. The two main types Ninetales is weak against are Water and Ground. So let it hold a Passho or Shuca Berry, and the next time you get hit with Surf or Earthquake (whenever that may be), you won't be OHKOd.

They are also useful against the Elite Four. Got a Dragonite? Give it a Haban Berry, and any of Lance's attempts to Outrage you will be null. So you can possibly DDance up and sweep.

It only works one time, but that's why your mom gets you five at a time.

Not always. What if you have a defensive Heatran? If you need it to survive an Earthquake, it can do that with a Shuca Berry. And it can survive pretty much everything else except boosted Surfs or Waterfalls.

The berries are less useful in WiFi, but don't underestimate them in in-game play. I use them really often, but not the obscure ones like Bug-type.

So as long as Giovanni remains missing, Blue is the Gym Leader.

Well, look at it this way. In the first game (meaning FRLG since we are talking about HGSS), you already defeated Giovanni and disbanded Team Rocket. In that game, you were Red, become the Champion after beating Blue, who went to Viridian Gym since there was an open spot. Then Lance must have beat Red (or Red resigned), so Lance became Champion and Red fled to Mt. Silver to cry or something.

So it really all makes sense when you look at it. By the name you were born in HGSS, all of this would've happened. When I went to Pallet Town, I was screaming at Red's mother. "I WAS YOUR DAMN SON BACK IN LEAF GREEN. UGH, YOU RETARD!"

I thought there was a reason for Blues leaderness in the Magna?

Red resigned.

Amen to that. I actually felt sad for team rocket after I beat him in the past. I mean it would have been epic to see him in the radio tower. He is weaker than his old comrades but just to read their expressions.

And did anyone find it convenient that we had a red head and a blue-haired guy as the top two active Rockets? These two could be Jessie and James.

I hate making Anime-game correlations' date=' because I get way too confused. <_<

[/quote']

I remember arguing with my pokefan cousins that Red isn't Ash. Red is a mute and Ash is a female.

Fixed.

The bottom line is games =/= anime.
