ayy lmao
Great. But I don't like it when Japan get all the good things first.RAEG.
EliminateHRN
Me neither, but as long as we get it, I'm happy. But they always need to translant it into english, so that's usually why it doesn't get released here soon after.

Ever tried plugging in one of our appliances over there? It won't work. the U.S. is just wired differently.
Cin
Go to serebii.net to find out a little more about this' date=' it's a good resource for Pokemon video games.[/quote'] Hello, that's my 3rd home....I was asking as a general question. Plus most of the people in this topic already visit there. I'm hoping with this they'll finally get Pokemon to use WiFi's advanced settings. I'd finally be able to trade without having to changing the router setting back and forth.
SpartanGio
I wonder about how they will modify the Time Machine. That is really true... Maybe it'll be to trade with Sinnoh? Or they'll take it out all together. I can't wait to get Team Rocket back :) (you can see why...)!
Cin
I would prefer they'd take it out, I have a tendency of making teams mainly from eggs atm, so keeping it in would mean I'd only have 2/6 by the time it opens. TR are my fav villains in games, and tend to have bigger 'dungeons' than any of the others following them. (In fact my fav villain area had 20+ rockets)
cerberus21
TR RULES!!! Aqua/Magma=PermaFail. But you've got to admit Galactic was a step in the right direction...
EliminateHRN
I love beating TR. They do have most of the big dungeons in the games. I remember in FireRed they was like 25 or 30 Rockets in one area. That took me a while to beat. But I did like Galactic. Aqua/Magma...not so much. What's the Time Machine again? I forgot. ~/Coolio Prime\~
It let you fight R/B/Y Pokemon, but you could only use Pokemon from that generation, I think?………
Cin
Time Machine allowed you to trade from RBY to GSC, and back, as long as those going back existed in RBY and didn't have any moves that didn't existed in that generation.
SpartanGio
The Time Machine should be taken out though. It didn't really make sense though. The Pokemon from Johto existed back then, but they just didn't "live" in Kanto.
~/Coolio Prime\~
But doesn't G/S/C's plotline occur afterwards, so in that time period new pokemon may have been discovered or something?
Cin
I'm just saying it like it is in GSC. (And that's from a vague memory I haven't been near the time machine for 5-7years) It occurs after, but RBY doesn't have the sprites for GSC Pokemon. cerberus21
RBY didnt have berries or some of the moves (like waterfall) from GSC. I think the time machine should work like Pal Park did in DPPT. It should let u upload pokemon from gba games. Of course, they might not have that backward-compatibility since the DSi doesn't have a gba slot.
carlynagisa_fan
this is a bad idea, gold and silver is already good....
Cin
Its not a bad idea, it needs a remake, it's the only 2 games (I do not include Yellow or Crystal) that are not connected to DPPt yet, so remakes are need, and they can't ruin GS.
Zeroshot
this is a bad idea' date=' gold and silver is already good....[/quote'] So?The way I see it, enhanced graphics, more pokemon, same storyline can only be an improvement.
SpartanGio
I was just playing Crystal and I was thinking... They should put the Battle Tower in the remakes, becuase wasn't the Battle Tower only in Crystal?
cerberus21
They probably will put battle tower/trainer tower/ (insert name here) tower in these. There's been 1 in every game since Crystal, hasn't there?
PrometheusMFD
Well, it has been more prominent in the thirds than the other games. This game is epic sauce ^_^

cerberus21
^They only named him Chuck since "Hitmonnorriss" doesn't roll off the tounge.EDIT: And it would only have 1 attack: ROUNDHOUSE KICK TO THE FACE
SpartanGio
So how bout' the pedometer? It seems cool, leveling up your Pokemon even while your not playing.
cerberus21
Meh. I'd be more impressed by an Exp. Share-style item that works like the daycare couple: give the item to your pokemon, it gains an exp. point each time you take a step. All the speed of daycare leveling w/o the hassle of eggs and losing friendship points.
Daybreak
This is going to be great. Now I can trade my pokemon from other versions to Silver and Gold.
