OoC: wedding today? OK then

 

Crystal couldn't believe it. It was today ... her big wedding day. Her Silent Magician outfit was already there, and so was the staff that would be strapped across her back. Unknown to anyone but herself and her duel spirits, it was enchanted with power from her magicians as a rather nice wedding gift. Suddenly the sound of a horse being stopped alerted Crystal. She opened the door and saw Chris riding Gaia the Fierce Knight's horse, dressed in a suit. The horse was attached to a cart, on the back of which Crystal's parents - her father dressed as a Witty Phantom, and her mother as Jenis, Lightsworn Mender - sat. They both got off and hugged her daughter.

 

"Today's your big day sweetheart," said her mum.

 

"Thanks mum," said Crystal. She then turned to Chris. "I wasn't expecting to see you you know."

 

"Hey, it's your wedding. Kaiba kindly arranged the cart for me. You've just seen your honeymoon vehicle." Crystal rubbed her eyes.

 

"No way!"

 

"And I've got the delights of being your driver. Come on, let's see you in that Silent Magician dress!"

(AJ changed and walked out the door of the boys dorms, his sword was swung over his shoulder and he then noticed 2 figures standing outside, Damion dressed in a white tuxedo, and his father dressed in a black suit)

 

Joesph Maxwell: (AJ's father) just 4 years ago you left for the academy, and now you're getting married? (sighs) i'm so old i can't even keep up with my sons anymore (AJ and Damion both laughed lightly)

 

Damion: we should get going soon, everythings ready and the guests will begin to arrive soon, Pegasus said he would even be the minister for the whole thing

 

AJ: that's great, let's get going

 

Joesph: not yet, AJ can i speak to you alone for a minute?

 

AJ: uh...sure, Damion you go on ahead, we'll be there soon

 

Damion: right just do it quickly, we don't want everything to fall apart

--gtg and eat, be back soon

AJ: so what did you want to talk about?

 

Joesph: to be quite honest, i don't feel comfortable with you do this at such a young age

 

AJ: father, i'm 18...

 

Joesph: that's just my point, you're only 18 and still in school at that

 

AJ: why does this concern you now? Damion said you had no problems when he first mentioned it to you

 

Joesph: i didn't then....i'm just not sure if this is what your mother would've wanted

 

AJ:............i may have never met her...but i'm sure she'd be proud to see her son get married, especially to a woman like Crystal

 

Joseph:...........i loved her so much...

 

AJ: we all did, but now isn't the time to morn, it's my wedding dad, and we all have to be happy, i know mom is (Joseph smiled at his son and they both embraced)

 

Joseph: c'mon kid, you don't wanna be late

 

AJ: right (they both make their way towards the academy)

Crystal saw her black Dark Magician appear - or rather, her white Dark Magician. He also had a bunch of flowers pinned to the front of his chestplate, much to Crystal's amusement.

 

"Nothing wrong with it," he kept saying. "I like to look more wedding-like."

 

"That's a new phrase, wedding-like," grinned Crystal. She turned to Chris, who's Buster Blader was dressed similar to Dark Magician. Now that she was getting along with him, their two duel spirits had also finally made peace with each other. "I think it's about time to go."

 

"Lead the way then," grinned Chris. Together they left the room and went to where they would hold the wedding, making sure to keep out of AJ's sight.

Chris was walking the halls of the school looking around. "I wonder when the wedding starts?"

"So today's those two's wedding... I should go congratulate them, now I just got to get this costume on..." *sighs*

 

OOC: What's Pete supposed to wear, and I have to go @ 7:30GMT

(AJ and his father made it to the front walkway into the academy, the place was decorated wonderfuly, flowers were placed along the walkways and seats where lined for the guests, white showered the place to give it an elegant feel and a platform covered in floral arrangements was set for the bride, groom and Pegasus to stand on)

 

A.N.-- wow, there wasn't a manly word in that entire bunch of text

 

AJ: looks like everything is ready

 

Damion: (holding a clipboard) and you have no idea how long it took to finish, i have a list of all the guests (hands it to AJ) we got around 230 coming

 

AJ: 230?!

 

Joesph: you know that many people?

 

AJ: apperantly now i do......

"Dad ... I feel like something's not right ... like ... the timing's all wrong and ... so on..."

 

"I think you're just nervous darling."

Pegasus: Andrew-boy, good to see everything is coming together for you (Pegasus walked up to the group of Maxwell's) ah, i haven't been to a wedding since my cousins back 4 years ago

 

AJ: i'd like to thank you for agreeing to be the minister in this sir

 

Pegasus: don't mention it, pleasure to be included

 

Damion: guys come on and get seated everyone's starting to arrive (Damion was right, the pros began to walk into the entire setting and take their seats)

 

Yugi: wow, Kaiba Corp funded all this?

 

Joey: rich boy know's how to throw a wedding

 

Bakura: very high class, very impressive

 

Jade: whoa! this stuff looks sweet!!! can't wait till we eat!

 

Jesse: you're always hungry (the families and friends took their seats next and before it was known everybody was accounted for)

Pegasus: ah, both of you look wonderful, now let's begin shall we? (both nodded) dealy beloved we're gathered here today to join these two pro duelists Andrew and Crystal in holy matramony, is there anyone in the audience today who doesn't believe these two should be wed? (for a moment there is silence) well then....... (just then a cloaked figure stands up)

 

????: i have something to say (everyone turns to the figure and stares) and unfortunately, i'm not the only one (suddenly 12 others stand up in the crowd, all of them wearing cloaks)

 

AJ: (eyes narrow) what's the meaning of this?!
