1)Its effect is basically making him a giant beatstick

2)It takes 3 monsters to take him out and if you don't have the field card or Instant Neo Space, this card will leave the field during the End Phase. That doesn't sound right

3)WOOW, it returns all cards on the field to their owner's hands!!! that would be good if it affected only your opponent, if it wasn't done during YOUR End Phase when you are the one that this card leaves open.

The problem isn't that Grand Mole is good; the problem is that it's Limited.

 

Except that that's not even a serious problem, especially with things like Cross Porter running around. The real problem is that there isn't any real motivation to use it over Flare Neos.

Both player's are also forced to return the cards to their hand when it returns to the Extra Deck.

 

That's nice. You basicly blow up your own field for 1 turn and your opponent has the opportunity to completely reset his/her stragety and you are 100% wide open for a swing from your opponent's monsters.

 

Wheeeee, field nukers that are actually doing it wrong. Don't see those everyday.
