The Crimson King
How has the game been affected with this recent banlist? Has it sped up and lost it's focus on strategies, or has it slowed down and allowed more skill based decks to dominate? Also, lets discuss how effective LS decks are now compared to how effective they were when they first came out.

Tronta
the game has progressed to the point where very little skill is required.i liked teledad, i never hated it.i thought it was one of the most, if not the most skill based deck out there.ls is lucksack sheet.and gbs just play by a script.theres so few people with any talent out there. GenzoTheHarpist
I think it is more skilled except for LS. Gbs take skill, all the "alternative" decks take skill, LS could be run effectively by retards.
Von Csent
Since most decks are based around archetypes now, which are designed by Konami to work as a deck, there is little skill involved. How much skill does it take to put all the good GB's into a deck? None. How about to use the deck? Little. LS takes a little more skill, but still negligible. Now compare that to building a Destiny Board deck: A fair amount of skill to make; quite a lot of skill involved to use correctly.

-Lightray Daedalus-
Back in the days of old YGO when Archetypes were a Minor feature of this Game, Decks were based on skill...A lot....Control was Meta....and that was a good time....Archetypes Just ruin it.... Von Csent
Destiny board won't win no matter how skilled you are. I disagree. I do not have the cards to make a good enough deck around it, but I'm sure that it can be done. Besides, my point is that if a successful DB deck is made, a lot of skill would be involved, contrary to the decks we see now.
-Lightray Daedalus-
But Monarchs came much later in YGO.....I'm talking when I started to play and we barely have all the cards that made Chaos come to life....and Even then Monachrs are a skilled based deck. and Monarchs took more than 1 Set to have the correct suppoert. If you're a noob, it would basically take all of your skills to not put in crap like Parry in them. And GB's actually require a bit of skill, because an unskilled player running GB's won't even get close to winning(let a noob friend of mine borrow my GB's, got these results). Also, LS is mostly about the luck factor, not the skill. I admit it takes some skill to build a good LS deck, but I also believe that it takes a lot of skill to use it too, especially when you're trying to bounce back from a bad opening hand, or a horrible misplay. But I have to agree with you on the skill it takes to build a halfway decent Destiny Board deck. After all, no one has done it yet.

Bunter Dwayne
Gladiator Beasts are probably the best Decks that use skill at the moment, Lightsworn base themselves around their aspect of luck.
