Azuh
What is a nomi' date=' anyway? I've never known the meaning of it.[/quote'] This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except... This means the card is Nomi
Mr. Judgment Dragon
What is a nomi' date=' anyway? I've never known the meaning of it.[/quote'] Monsters with the following text are Nomis: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except..... Fusion Monsters or Synchros with the following text also fall under the Nomi category: This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion/Synchro (whatever is appropriate for the card type) Summon..... All Nomis cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect specifically stated on the card unless another card overrules it like Level Up! does with LV monsters like Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8. Fusion Monsters, Synchros and Ritual Monsters are Semi-Nomis by default and can be Special Summoned by cards like Monster Reborn if their Summoning conditions are properly met initially. With the exception of Fusions, Synchros and Ritual Monsters, effect Monsters with the following text are Semi Nomis: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned..... That should answer your question.
Bunter Dwayne
Oh, right! I never thought there was a difference between 'This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set" and "This card can only be Normal Summoned or Set". Thanks. So, would the card be used? Exiro
This card is nothing like Shien with restrictions. Shien can summon itself, and the important part is that the opponent can only activate 1 s/t per turn. This can is very specific in summoning and it's 'main' effect is completely different. Also, this card sucks. three card ftk rescue cat + Mass Driver + XX-Saber Faultroll + XX-Saber Faultroll ( in grave ) hopefully xx-saber doesnt conflict with a ruling 1) You need a card to Special Summon Faultroll.2) Faultroll cannot be Special Summoned except when you control 2 or more X-Sabers, so you'd need another one. Umbra
Ah, Double-X Failtroll. Never thought I'd see a Nomi again. XX-Sabers should be able to be summoned by this card, right? Not just X-Sabers?
