Sweet. If you can get the pics, I'd love to see them. ^^

Not that it matters, but I wonder if she'll still be a she...

xD Lol, no one ever really thinks about that. Like, would anyone even care if Ifrit was suddenly female?

Did you do every mission and get the 100% Complete Ending? ._. Because that wasn't easy.

I thought the International Version was harder. =/ The altered Sphere Grid took me by surprise at first, as the abilities weren't where I remembered them. And the fact that several attacks had their Damage output modified didn't help.

Of course, if you just spammed Summons the whole game, anyone would find it easy. I don't know if you did that, but if you did, I'm not impressed.

=O For the most part, I avoided summoning. I only used Summoning:

a) When I was forced to by the game

b) During the rare instance that my characters were about to die and get a Game Over (usually by being Ambushed)

c) In the occasional random battle where I didn't want to waste my time.

I also found them helpful for helping me capture high HP enemies (pre-stat maxing).

on the subject of rumoured summons in ff13.has anyone seen the image of shiva.she is 2 women and a motorbike which Snow rides.its a disgrace

Yeah, I've seen it. It's definitely interesting, but I wouldn't consider it a disgrace. No more of a disgrace than Final Fantasy XII's airships named after summons. If it means anything, Final Fantasy XIII's Ifrit and Carbuncle look nearly the same as they always have been.

Don't despair - the PS3 version is going to be higher quality, and will only be on one disc (as opposed to the 360 version which has to be split). Also, since the creator was quite miffed when he heard that they would be porting it to the 360, it's likely that the PS3 version will have a few extra features.

Plus, the PS3 version comes out first.

AND FFVersusXIII is PS3-exclusive, and Nomura has insisted that it's STAYING that way.

Obviously, you'll need to spam Rikku. It's also advised that you give her a Tripple Overdrive weapon (these can be made via Winning Formulas, which can be bribed off of Malboros and Great Malboros (mAlboros are the better deal)).

If it's too much trouble making the weapon for her, just go Release her Godhand. Anyway, next, you wanna set her to Daredevil (so her Overdrive charges when she's in critical health), and attack her till she's at critical health (or let an enemy do it).

Now her Overdrive will be charging really quickly. The first thing you need to do, at the start of the battle, is toss a Chocobo Wing at the party you plan on damaging Omega with. If you can get Auto-Haste armor, this is better.

While this isn't a necessity, I also advise getting Auto-Phoenix armor on at least two characters.

Have Rikku enter the battle with Overdrive, so that after hasting the party, she can use Trio of 9999 (Mix 2 Gambler's Spirits. I always find that's the easiest way).

If I'm not mistaken, Rikku can also jack Omega for 30 Gamblers per Steal.

Anyway, now that your party has been boosted, it's time to unload. Your two other attacking characters should be at Overdrive as well - the daredevil mode can work on them too, if you can manage it. Ideally, none of your attacking characters are going to get hit.

Now, from here, it depends on what characters you use. I personally used Wakka, but you can also use Tidus if you don't have Wakka's Attack Reels.

Just have Wakka activate his Attack Reels (it isn't hard to get the 2's to match up). If you get all 2's, he'll deliver 12 hits of 9999 damage, which is enough to kill, and Overkill Omega right then and there.

If you don't have Attack Reels, you can use Tidus' Blitz Ace for Nine hits, and then do a couple extra hits by having Rikku and your third character attack him once.

He shouldn't start the battle using anything other than his single-target attack, so you should be good on surviving this.

So to summarize:

1) Toss a Chocobo Wing, unless you have Auto-Haste armor for everyone, which is better.

2) Have Rikku Mix two Gambler's Spirits to make Trio of 9999. MAKE SURE TO PRE-CHARGE HER OVERDRIVE BEFORE THE BATTLE USING DAREDEVIL IN SOME RANDOM BATTLE.

3) Have Wakka slay Omega with Attack Reels. MAKE SURE TO PRE-CHARGE OVERDRIVE.

3-B) If no Attack Reels, have Tidus use Blitz Ace, then attack Omega two more times with whoever you can. MAKE SURE TO PRECHARGE OVERDRIVE.

Follow these simple steps, and Omega will go down. =p For an optional boss, his HP isn't that high.

Ugh, still struggling. The problem with omega is, he releases nova when below a certain hp. On top of that, if you've noticed, Omega is a very quick attacker. He attacks after every player in your party does as well. The nova is no help either, and it's constant after the hp fall. But im sure I'll beat him. I think i found the trick, Lulu's overdrive. I was able to pull off flair with, and that to, around 20,000 damage with the break Damage Limit on the doll. The problem is the chaining. Pre-charging is easy, its just the chaining.

How did you get her with Flare if you're doing NSG?

Also, if Nova is REALLY a big problem, you can mix a Lunar/Light/Star Curtain with a Gambler's Spirit to make Hyper Mighty G - it casts Haste, Protect, Shell, Regen, and Auto-Life on the party.

Then you can let him kill one of your people with his Normal attack - if you set your Overdrive mode to Comrade, Rikku's OV can charge instantly with that, and she can then chuck out a Trio of 9999.

However, it doesn't sound like you're really playing an NSG game - if you were, Lulu wouldn't have Flare, and her attacks wouldn't be doing that much damage.

Overall, NSG or no, this shouldn't be too hard. I mean, he's only got 99,999 HP.
