ragnarok1945
I'm not sure on that. I think X-Men Origins: Magneto is supposed to be set shortly after WWII (remember Magneto was a survivor of Auschwitz), so he'd be still young.

ragnarok1945
yeah but the title stresses ORIGINS, which means they'd have to start him off young like they did for Wolverine.
Raikoh
Terrible ideas. If they don't follow the X-Men storyline (origins), then it will certainly suck.
EliminateHRN
My parents saw an unfinished version of Origins: Wolverine on the internet. They said it looked good and wanted to see the real version of it. I'm going to watch it soon on the internet. I'll maybe post a review of it on my blog or something. Most of it was hollywood BS.

Raikoh
Quote they were to me but only in terms of the action. The action was alright. They did mess up Wolverine's fighting moves (he's supposed to crouch when he attacks, not stand) The two things I liked the most of the other 3 X-Mens was Patrick Stewart as PROFESSOR X (not Magneto, like that other guy said) and Cyclops getting killed in X-Men 3 (I was the only one in the theater clapping at that scene where no one else was but Idc). ragnarok1945
well actually I know a lot of people still debating if Cyclops really died (they still insist no body was ever found, which I find weak since the phoenix ability vaporizes the bodies)

ragnarok1945
I'm still unsure if a movie should be devoted to him in how he became X-Men leader.
Raikoh
I hope to hell not. Cyclops is indeed the WORST X-Man. Wolverine is a much better leader than he is (watch X3 again to understand what I mean).
ragnarok1945
I already watched X-men 3 enough times, that's why Cyclops played such a short role in there.

ragnarok1945
yeah well it's not like I liked him in the films anyway. At least he served SOMEWHAT of a purpose in X2.

If you are making an "X-Men" movie based off the comics then be a little more accurate. Btw, They screwed up Rouge and Storm. Rouge is much more tougher in the comics and Halle Berry sucks. Worst actress to play as Storm. Also, Iceman is NOT Rouge's BF. Gambit is. Quote I'm not a comic geek and therefore I rated all the X-Men films high. Its remarks like that that makes Hollywood continue to make crappy comic book/video game movies.
ragnarok1945
hey, most films based off video games ARE utter crap, I'd say at least 95% of them.
Raikoh
Which ones are the exception (and plz say the obvious)?
ragnarok1945
so far the only one I found as the exception is the Silent Hill one. Back on topic but still to compare to gaming, you ever played the X-Men Origins Wolverine game? (I haven't)
Raikoh
Origins Game >>>>>>> Origins Movie. Silent Hill wasn't all accurate but a more decent one though. Funny, I liked Mortal Kombat cuz I found it hilarious......even though it was mostly stupid. Seriously, the one I was thinking of was Resident Evil Degeneration.....but wait, its a Japanese movie so all the American ones suck.
