[spoiler=Episode 1: Getting the Decks! Ryan and Jerry's First Duel!]

Episode 1: Getting the Decks! Ryan and Jerry’s 1st Duel!

It’s very early in the morning. An old man is sitting in a room. His grey hair slightly overlaps his eyes, which almost burn with a strange fire. By the first beam of light, shining through the window, a pyramid on his neck starts to glow with a sudden blue light. The man touched it with his hand and frowned…

Memory Flashback

The scene changes to an ancient throne room, in which a pharaoh and a tall man with a dark cape are seen:

???: I give you a last chance, pharaoh! Surrender now, or I will crush you, and no one ever will hear a word from the great Atem, the Egyptian Lord!

Pharaoh: I will never surrender to you, you hear me! I never will bow to your will!

???: Then, it’s time for you to die! Behold the true powers of the world! I summon Theinen the Great Sphinx!

A stone tablet before the man rises, and a spirit of Theinen the Great Sphinx appears.

Pharaoh: You’re not done yet Anubis! Because I summon the power you never dared to dream about! Unleash your true might, my monster!

A stone tablet near the pharaoh rises and unleashes an immense amount of light.

Anubis: NOOOOOOO!!!!!

Memory Flashback ends

The scene changes to a bedroom, in which a skinny boy with short black hair is sleeping.

The screen zooms on the boy, and…

???: PWAAAAAAAP!!!!!!!!!!

The boy screams and awakes, looks around, then looks out the window; below, there is a boy with lightbrown hair with a green headband holding a trumpet:

???: Hey, Ryan! You should have wakened me! But since you didn’t…*laughs*

Ryan: Jerry?! For a moment I though a plane crashed near my window!

Jerry: Haha! Well… see you in 2 minutes…. or else... * raises his trumpet, attempting to blow*

Ryan: DON’T YOU DARE!!! I’m coming! -.-

After 5 minutes:

Jerry: There you are! I already though about giving my trumpet a shot for it!

Ryan: Leave it, hear you?! It’s not funny!

Jerry: Oh, c’mon! No life without music……

Ryan: -.- Then I prefer no life…. Either way, ever I’m going to become deaf because of that thing!

Jerry: Okay, okay. I stop it. For now. *evil grins*. You know which day it is today?

Ryan: Of course!

Jerry: Then, let’s move on!

The two boys run into the city, continuously cutting each other.

Ryan: There it is!

The boys run to a small man standing before a large building.

Jerry: Mr. Mutou! Mr. Mutou!

The man turns, sees the boys and smiles. The boys take a final run, but Jerry struggles over a small stone and smashes on the ground.

Jerry: AUCH!!!

Ryan: Ha! Now you’re awake too!

Jerry: -.-

Mr. Mutou: Well boys, are you ready to get your Deck?

Jerry and Ryan: Oh yeah!

The boys and Mr. Mutou enter the building, a plate on which says: “KC”.

Inside, a bid card shop is seen.

Mr. Mutou: A good Deck must have a heart, a card where the whole Deck is based on. Look around. You must choose that card yourself.

After a short search, Ryan and Jerry return.

Ryan: Grandpa! Grandpa! I think I’ve found the card I need!

Mr. Mutou: Hm?

Ryan: It’s the Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest!

Jerry: Don’t look at it! Check this out! Medusa Worm!

Mr. Mutou: Medusa Worm? Interesting... And what did you choose, Ryan?

Ryan: This! *shows card*

Mr. Mutou: You two have great potentional, as I expected. Now, let’s make a Deck together that would fit the cards you’ve chosen.

Together, Mr. Mutou and the kids search the shop for more cards.

Mr. Mutou: Look, here is a card which every good duelist should have in his or her Deck: Mystical Space Typhoon. This card allows you to destroy one other Spell or Trap on the field – it’s absolutely irreplaceable.

Mr.Mutou and the kids are searching for suitable card for their Decks.

Jerry: Mr.Mutou! Look at this card!

Mr.Mutou: Vengeful Bog Spirit! Hm! That card would fit in your strategy very well!

Ryan: Which strategy!? Even if he will kill my monster with Medusa Worm, it will die the next turn when I summon Green Baboon!

Jerry: Oh yeah?! Well I ensure you that Baboon will meet the same fate as your other monsters – turning into stone!

Mr.Mutou: Stop quarreling. Look, with Baboon as heart, you probably want to make a Beast Deck.

Ryan: Cool!

Scene changes to a large skyscraper, with 2 big golden letters: “KC”.

On the top of the building a landing platform is seen. On the platform, a man with 2 bodyguards looks in the air, waiting for something. A copter approaches and lands on the building. The door of the copter goes open and a grey man with a short beard comes out, together with 2 bodyguards.

???: Ah, Mr. Kaiba. How was the search?

Kaiba: Bad as always, Mr. Bodare. Nothing.

Mr. Bodare: A shame. Anyways, I have got what you’ve asked for…

Kaiba: Hm? Show it!

One of the bodyguards opens a metallic suitcase.

Kaiba(With eyes like boards): Amazing! Great job, Bodare!

Scene changes to Mr.Mutou’s house.

Mr.Mutou: Well, now you’ve got your Decks, why not Duel with each other?

Ryan and Jerry: Cool!

Jerry and Ryan lift their brand new Duel discs and prepare to fight:

Ryan and Jerry: Let’s DUEL!

Jerry: I guess I’ll start then! *draws card* Excellent! I activate the Spell card Vengeful Bog Spirit! (Vengeful Bog Spirit|Spell Card|Continuous|No monsters can attack during the same turn that they are Normal Summoned. Flip Summoned or Special Summoned.) From now on, each newly Summoned monster cannot attack its first turn! Also, I Summon one monster face-down and Set one card! Your turn!

Ryan: Okay, be ready! *draws a card* Hm! I summon this! Crystal Beast – Topaz Tiger! (Crystal Beast – Topaz Tiger|EARTH|Level 4|Beast|Effect Monster|1600 ATK|1000 DEF| If this card attacks an opponent's monster, it gains 400 ATK until the end of the Damage Step. If this card is destroyed while in the Monster Card Zone, you can treat it as a Continuous Spell Card and place it face-up in 1 of your Spell & Trap Card Zones.) Topaz, attack his face-down!

Topaz Tiger tries to attack the face-down card, but he becomes blocked by red spirits.

Ryan: Wha….?

Jerry: Ha! You forgot my Spell card! Vengeful Bog Spirit!

Ryan: Grrrr… First your trumpet and now this…. I set 2 cards face-down and end my turn.

Jerry: Glad to hear that! Draw! Ha! I summon Intomidable Fighter Lei Lei in attack position! (Indomitable Fighter Lei Lei|EARTH|Level 4|Beast-Warrior|Effect Monster|2300 ATK|0 DEF| If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase. This card's battle position cannot be changed until the end of your next turn, except with a card effect.)

Ryan: Powerful, but don’t forget! Due to your own card, you can’t attack!

Jerry: Then you haven’t seen this! The Spell card Lowering the Load! (Lowering the Load|Spell Card|You can negate the effects of your own cards that should affect your cards this turn.) Now I can negate the effects of my own cards this turn! Intomidable Fighter Lei Lei, attack!

Ryan: Not so fast! I activate my face-down card! Crystal Mirror! (Crystal Mirror|Trap Card| When a “Crystal Beast” monster on your side of the field is attacked, you can activate this card.Destroy the attacking monster and inflict damage to youropponent’s Life Points equal to half the attacking monster’s ATK.)

Jerry: What!?

Ryan: Yes! When a Crystal Beast is attacked, I can activate this card! Your attack is negated and half of the attack points of your monster are subtracted from your Life Points!

Jerry: No!

Indomitable Fighter attacks, but becomes blocked by a large crystal and dies.

Jerry: Auch!

Jerry’s LP: 2850 (4000 – 1150)

Jerry: I set one card face-down…Your turn, dude…

Ryan: Okay then! Here comes your doom! Draw! *draws card* Okay, I start with this card! Mystical Space Typhoon! (Mystical Space Typhoon|Spell Card|Destroy 1 Spell or Trap card on the field.) Jerry: Waah! That’s the card Mr.Mutou told about!

Ryan: Exactly! I target your Vengeful Bog Spirit!

The spirits disappear in a small tornado.

Ryan: But this is not all! I summon Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus in attack mode!

(Crystal Beast – Sapphire Pegasus|WIND|Level 4|Beast|Effect Monster|1800 ATK|1200 DEF| When this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or Special Summoned, you can place 1 "Crystal Beast" monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, face up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone; it is treated as a Continuous Spell Card. If this card is destroyed while in the Monster Card Zone, you can treat it as a Continuous Spell Card and place it face-up in 1 of your Spell & Trap Card Zones.) And due to his effect I can place a Crystal Beast monster from my Deck in the Spell and Trap card zone! I choose Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle! (Crystal Beast – Ruby Carbuncle|LIGHT|Level 3|Beast|Effect Monster|1800 ATK|1200 DEF| When this card is Special Summoned, you can Special Summon as many "Crystal Beast" cards as possible from your Spell & Trap Card Zone. If this card is destroyed while in the Monster Card Zone, you can treat it as a Continuous Spell Card and place it face-up in 1 of your Spell & Trap Card Zones.)

A red Crystal appears near Ryan.

Ryan: And now, Pegasus, attack his face-down card!

Jerry: I reveal my face-down Big Eye! (Big Eye|DARK|Level 4|Fiend|Effect Monster|1200 ATK|1000 DEF| FLIP: See the top 5 card of your Deck and put them back in any order.)

Ryan: Ha! Your weak monster got completely crushed!

Jerry: Not so fast! His special effect activates, allowing me to see the top 5 cards in my Deck and change their order!

Jerry looks at his cards, grins and puts them back.

Ryan: Hmpf! I guess it is your turn!

Jerry: Obviously! Draw! What a surprise…. oh, and before I forget, Ryan, a shame you forgot to attack me directly with Topaz….

Ryan: ….*faints*

Jerry: Anyways! I activate my face-down Trap Card! Ultimate Offering! (Ultimate Offering|Trap Card|Continuous| At the cost of 500 Life Points per monster, a player is allowed an extra Normal Summon or Set.) Now I can summon extra monsters at the cost of 500 Life Points each! I Set 2 monsters face-down and Summon Boomerang Warrior in attack mode at the cost of 1000 life Points! (Boomerang Warrior|EARTH|Level 4|Warrior|Effect Monster|1400 ATK|1000 DEF|During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent.)

Jerry’s LP: 1850 (2850 - 1000)

Ryan: Hehe! Your monster is again too weak to even scratch any of my Crystals!

Jerry: Wait with your ordeal, Ryan! I equip my Boomerang Warrior with this: Razorang! (Razorang|Spell Card|Equip|You can only Equip this card to a face-up “Boomerang Warrior” The monster equipped with this card gains the following effect: Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can destroy up to 2 monsters on your opponent’s side of the field with a DEF lower to or equal to the ATK of the equipped monster.) This allows my Boomerang to destroy a monster with DEF equal to or lower then this monster’s attack!

Boomerang Warrior throws his blade-like tool to Topaz Tiger, who dies with a roar and turns into a yellow Crystal.

Ryan: Noo! Topaz! Grrr!

Jerry: I’m not done yet! You know the ability all boomerangs have!

The Boomerang makes a bow behind Ryan and hits Pegasus, who instantly crystallizes.

Ryan: Nooooo!!!

Jerry: Luckily for you, Boomerang Warrior can’t attack anymore. I set one card face-down. Your turn!

Ryan: Okay then! You will regret that of my Crystals! *draws* Excellent! I Summon Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth in attack position! (Crystal Beast – Amber Mammoth|EARTH|Level 4|Beast|Effect Monster|1700 ATK|1600 DEF| When a face-up "Crystal Beast" monster you control is selected as an attack target, you can change the target to this card. If this card is destroyed while in the Monster Card Zone, you can treat it as a Continuous Spell Card and place it face-up in 1 of your Spell & Trap Card Zones.) Also, I Summon Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle in…

Jerry: Wait! How? You’ve already Summoned 1 monster this turn!

Ryan: Heheh! You forget your own card! Ultimate Offering!

Jerry: *gasp*….

Ryan: So, I need to pay 500 Life Points for that! (Crystal Beast – Cobalt Eagle|WIND|Level 4|Beast|Effect Monster|1400 ATK|800 DEF| Once per turn, you can return 1 face-up "Crystal Beast" card you control to the top of its owner's Deck. If this card is destroyed while in the Monster Card Zone, you can treat it as a Continuous Spell Card and place it face-up in 1 of your Spell & Trap Card Zones.)

Ryan’s LP: 3500 (4000 - 500)

Ryan: And behold! I activate my Trap Card! Crystal Breach! (Crystal Breach|Trap Card| Pay 1000 Life Points. Special Summon a “Crystal Beast” monster from your Spell and Trap Card Zone.) At the cost of 1000 Life Points, I can Special Summon a Crystal Beast monster from my Spell and Trap card Zone! And I choose: Ruby Carbuncle!

Ryan’s LP: 2500 (3500 – 1000)

The red Crystal explodes and Ruby Carbuncle jumps out of it.

Ryan: And, due to Carbuncle’s Special effect, I can Summon all other Crystal Beasts from my Spell and Trap card zone as well!

Jerry: Noooo!

Ryan: And now, Topaz Tiger, attack his Boomerang Warrior!

Boomerang Warrior dies due to Topaz’ claw attack.

Jerry’s LP: 1250 (1850-600)

Ryan: Sapphire Pegasus, attack his face-down!

Pegasus charges and hits the card: Guardian Statue.

Ryan: Again your card got owned! Now, Amber Mammoth, attack his last face-down!

Jerry: Not so fast! I activate my Trap card! Hidden Cave! (Hidden Cave|Trap Card| Pay 800 Life Points. Flip Summon a face-down card to face-up attack position.)

Ryan: What?!

Jerry: This allows me to Flip Summon my monster you’ve attacked at the cost of 800 Life Points! And guess who it is!

Jerry’s LP: 450 (1250 – 800)

The face-down card turns into a vicious worm, who fires a beam to Amber Mammoth, turning her into stone.

(Medusa Worm|EARTH|Level 3|Rock|Effect Monster|1500 ATK|800 DEF|You can flip this card to face-down Defense position once per turn during your Main Phase. If this card is Flip Summoned successfully, destroy 1 monster on your opponent’s side of the field.)

Jerry: My Medusa Worm! And now your Amber Mammoth is about to crysta…what?

Instead of turning into an orange Crystal, Amber Mammoth exploded.

Jerry: What happened!? Why didn’t your Mammoth crystallize?

Ryan: Because I don’t want her to do it! Because, by destroying my Mammoth, you’ve triggered the effect of the card I hold! And now you guess who it is!

A huge, green giant appears on the field with a mighty roar.

Ryan: By paying 1000 Life points when a Beast on my side of the field is destroyed, I can Special Summon Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest! (Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest |EARTH|Level 7|Beast|Effect Monster|2600 ATK|1000 DEF|When a Beast-Type monster you control is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard.)

Ryan’s LP: 1500 (2500 – 1000)

Ryan: And now, Baboon, attack his Medusa Worm!

Jerry: My last chance… the Trap I’ve set in my very first turn! Unobedient Servant, activate! (Unobedient Servant|Trap Card| Place all Trap cards from your Deck face-down. Randomly select one of them and activate, if possible.)

Ryan: Not again!

Jerry: Yes again! I choose all the remaining Trap cards in my Deck and then, my servant will activate one randomly!

7 cards rise in the air in a circle, face-down. A small fire moves from card to card, and finally stops.

Jerry: I reveal: *looks at card*…. Ring of Destruction!?!

(Ring of Destruction|Trap Card| Destroy 1 monster on the field and inflict damage equal to the destroyed monster’s ATK Points to both players.)

A heavy ring appears around Baboon’s neck and explodes.

Ryan and Jerry: Aaargh!

Ryan’s LP: 0 (1500 – 2600)

Jerry’s LP: 0 (450 – 2600)

Mr. Mutou: Well that was a good Duel, boys! A draw! I can see true Duelist souls in you two!

Ryan: I guess we are at the same dueling level, Jerry! :D

Jerry: Yeah!

[spoiler=Episode 2: A new job]Episode 2: A new job

A tall, old man is sitting on a golden throne in a throne room. The man has long white hair which falls over his shoulders, and a long white beard. It looks like he is sleeping, but then a masked servant on his left side bows and whispers something. The man clicked in his fingers. On that moment, a door fell open and another man came into the room, alongside a smaller bald oldie.

???: Ah, Mr. Kaiba! I expected you…

Kaiba: Hello, Pegasus.

Pegasus: Have you done what I asked?

Kaiba: I guess we’ve founded it.

Pegasus: Well, show it, Kaiba-boy… No need in making me wait…

Kaiba: First, the contract.

Pegasus: Which contract? You know me… I am an honest person… *laughs* The deal is simple. You give me the crystal, I make the card.…

Kaiba: Bodare!

Mr.Bodare: Right away, sir…

Mr. Bodare stepped forwards and opened a suitcase. in the suitcase, a expensive-looking yellow crystal is seen. Pegasus smiled.

Pegasus: Ah, there he is… the Otherworld Amber.... Good work, Kaiba…

Kaiba: When will it be made?

Pegasus: Give me a week, and I will make it one of the best cards in the world…..

Kaiba: Fiar enough. Just don’t try to cheat again. Pegasus!

Pegasus: *laughs* Don’t worry, Kaiba-boy, it will be done….

Oh! And before you go, are you still in search for your big brother?

Kaiba: *balds fist and fronses* Yes, I am, Pegagus. But it seems not to bother you.

Pegasus: Why not? Weren’t we old friends? *laughs* Actually, it bothers me, Mokuba, because I know his whereabouts…..

Scene changes to a large, covered in moss, house.

Then, a boy comes, grabs his trumpet, which was bounded to his back.

The screen changes to the boy’s mouth, who is just about to blow when…

SPLASH.

The boy becomes drowned by water which fell out of the air.

After a second, a pail fell on the boy’s head…

When the extremely pissed (and soaked) Jerry looked up, he saw Ryan rolling over from laugh in the window.

Ryan: WHAHAHAHA!!! You won’t believe how funny this was!!

Jerry: Ryan! What do you think you allow yourself to do!?! GRRRR!!!!

Ryan: Whaha…. Anyways, step back.

Ryan jumped out the window.

Jerry: Never knew you had that in you.

Ryan: Heheh…

Jerry: Well, anyways, you said we have a job?

Ryan: Not yet, but we are nominated for a paper round!

Jerry: That’s great! They understood we will work as one, didn’t they?

Ryan: I guess so. Don’t worry; the payment is large enough for us both.

Jerry: And we will have a concurrent?

Ryan: Yeah, kind of. Don’t worry mate, the boss will sure choose us.

Jerry: Okay then. Hey, what’s that?

Jerry pointed to something shiny in the edge of the nearby river.

The two boys ran down the bridge and saw a strange glowing stone.

Ryan: Looks like something valuable. Mind if I take it?

Jerry: Whatever. I never loved fancy stones.

Ryan grabbed the stone.

Ryan: Wow…

Jerry: What?

Ryan: I feel kinda strange…

Jerry: ? What do you mean?

Ryan: ...Never mind, Let’s keep going.

Scene changes to Pegasus’ throne room, where the deity of Yu-Gi-Oh laid on his massive golden throne, talking to an old, little man whose entire face was hided under large sunglasses.

Pegasus: So, Keith, how are you in this days?

Keith: Ah, gettin’ here, gettin’ there, nothing special..

Pegasus: You’ve won the lottery last time, I heard?

Keith: Ah, yeah, I never lose the chance of earning big money. My business sense never betrays me, you know…

Pegasus: Except last time, when you invested 2 millions in George’s Crisp Burgers and the whole store was rotten..

Keith: That bastard! I will never forget that idiot who… bribed me with hamburgers!!

Pegasus: *laughs* that were good times, Keith…. I guess they don’t call you “bandit” anymore after all, do they?

Keith: Enough of memories! What was the job you needed me for?

Pegasus: I want you to participate in the Duel Monsters tournament I will set up soon. I won’t pay you, you know that.

Keith: *fronses* You said you’re gonna pay me for my jobs, liar! Ahhh, anyways… I think I don’t have a choice…

Pegasus: Indeed, my boy… you don’t…..

Scene changes to Jerry and Ryan, who haste themselves to the employment agency.

They run past a building, and then realize they’ve run too far, and came back…

Ryan: Finally! Here it is!

Inside, the boys found a reception:

Woman: You two came for the paper round job? Right away, please!

Jerry: Thank you! Ryan, do you think anyone actually can beat us to it?

Ryan: Don’t worry, Jerry! You wouldn’t walk against a random person and see a better candi…

WHAM

On that moment, Ryan walked against someone else. It was a tall smoggy teenager with gray skin and a kind of gang around him.

???: Heya, watch it, kid! Don’t interrupt the way of the great Jordan!!!

Gang: Yeah!!! Great Jordan!!

Jerry: Who the hell are you?

Ryan: It’s Jordan Squirman. Some guy from my street.

Jerry: Yeah? Never saw him.

Ryan: Be glad, believe me…

Jordan: And who… aah, Ryan, it’s actually you… what the hell are you doin’ here?!

Gang: Yeah? What are you doin’ here?!

Ryan: And why does it bother you, squigheads!? Where did you pick up those swines anyway, Jordan? And can they do more then just then repeating you?

Jordan: No, actually they don’t. And I am goin’ to take that paper round job!

Gang: Yeaaah!

Jerry: Well, that’s a shame, but we’re going to grab that job right before your gray nose.

Jordan: Oh?! Is that so?! And who do you think you are, madam?!

Jerry: Jerry Oldmaster, NOT at your service, Squirrel.

Ryan: Uh-oh.

Jerry becomes lifted up by Jordan, and suffers the full salvo of his terrible smell:

Jordan: Nobody called me like that and survived the day, boy… what a shame..

Jordan lifted up his gray fist, but on that moment, the door before the boys opened, and a small, mustached, smiling man came out:

Manager: Ahh, the candidates for the paper round! Finally!

Jordan: Oh, hello! Take me! I have experience with paper rounds, as well as getting up early, biking as fast as lightning, etc…

Manager: *laughs* oh, pretty nice, boy. How’s your name?

Jordan: Jordan Squirman, sir, At your… erm.. *looks in dictionary* service.

Manager: Squirman, you say? Hmmmmm…. mind if I call you squirrel?

Jordan(blushing): No… not at all, sir.. *cough, cough*

Ryan: Haha, good joke, sir!

Manager: And your names, boys?

Ryan: I am Ryan Sinden, and this is Jerry Oldmaster.

Manager: Ah, and you are go take that job together?

Ryan: Well…. I would be glad if you chose us sir, but…

Manager: No, that’s not what I mean, silly. I mean, I have only one job, are you going to do it together and split the loan?

Jerry: Yes, sir!

Manager: Well, and now I’m going to test you of your suitableness.

Jordan: And how is that goin’ to be tested?

Gang: Yeah?! How it’s going to be tested?!

Manager: Well, seeing people often make their hobby their work, I decided to make this test a slightly unusual….

Jordan: Okay, but what will be it?

Manager: I often play the game Duel Monsters… it would be fun seeing you two dueling!

Jordan, Ryan and Jerry: What?! Duelling?!

The manager nodded.

Jordan: Well, guys… you two could better give up right away… no one defeated Jordan Squirman yet!!!

Manager: Be quiet and get your deck ready, squirrel.

Jordan: ...

Jerry: Will you take this one?

Ryan: Why not?

Ryan and Jordan lifting duel disks: DUEL!!!

Jordan: I guess I start then! HA! *draws* I start with the Field Spell Card Yami! (Yami| Spell Card|Field|Increases the ATK and DEF of all Fiend and Spellcaster-Type monsters by 200 points. Also decreases the ATK and DEF of all Fairy-Type monsters by 200 points.) After that, I set 2 card face-down and summon a face-down monster! Your move!

Ryan: Couldn’t you really think of something better… *draws* I summon my Crystal Beast – Sapphire Pegasus in attack position! If this card is destroyed while in the Monster Card Zone, you can treat it as a Continuous Spell Card and place it face-up in 1 of your Spell & Trap Card Zones.) And due to his effect, I can summon another Crystal Beast monster in my Spell and trap card Zone! I Summon Crystal Beast – Topaz Tiger!

(Crystal Beast – Topaz Tiger|EARTH|Level 4|Beast|Effect Monster|1600 ATK|1000 DEF| If this card attacks an opponent's monster, it gains 400 ATK until the end of the Damage Step. If this card is destroyed while in the Monster Card Zone, you can treat it as a Continuous Spell Card and place it face-up in 1 of your Spell & Trap Card Zones.)

A yellow crystal appears near Ryan.

Ryan: I’m not done yet! With the Spell Card Pot of Greed, I can draw two cards more!

(Pot of Greed|Spell Card|Draw 2 cards.) Excellent! I play Giant Trunade! (Giant Trunade|Spell Card|Return all Spell and Trap cards on the field to their owner’s hands.)

Jordan: I chain! I activate Dark Bribe! (Dark Bribe|Trap Card|Counter|Negate the activation of a Spell or Trap card and destroy it. Your opponent draws 1 card.)

Ryan: What?!

Jordan: Now, your Giant Trunade is negated, and you may draw a card.

Ryan: Why, thank you. Heheh. I activate Double Summon! (Double Summon|Spell Card|This turn, you can Normal Summon one additional time this turn, You cannot activate more then 1 “Double Summon” per turn.) Now I can summon another monster this turn! I summon Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth! (Crystal Beast – Amber Mammoth|EARTH|Level 4|Beast|Effect Monster|1700 ATK|1600 DEF| When a face-up "Crystal Beast" monster you control is selected as an attack target, you can change the target to this card. If this card is destroyed while in the Monster Card Zone, you can treat it as a Continuous Spell Card and place it face-up in 1 of your Spell & Trap Card Zones.) Now, Amber, attack his face-down!

Amber Mammoth charges and hits a vicious daemon, which explodes.

Jordan: Ha! You just killed my Disaster! (Disaster|DARK|Level 3|Fiend|Effect Monster|1000ATK|100 DEF| When this card is destroyed in battle and sent to the Graveyard, inflict 1000 points of Damage to your opponent’s Life Points. When this card is destroyed by a card’s effect, inflict 2000 points of Damage to your opponent’s Life Points.)

Gang: Yessss!!! Disastee-er!!

Ryan: Disaster?

Jordan: By destroying it, you lose a whole quarter of your Life Points!

A dark tornado fell from the sky, hitting Ryan.

Ryan: Aaargh!!

Gang: Yeeeaaah!! Go boss!! Kick his butt!

Jordan’s LP: 3500 (4000-500)

Ryan: Hmpf! Replay! I won’t attack anymore. I set two cards face-down and end my turn.

Jordan: Can’t stand that, can you! Heheh! *draws* I summon another Archfiend Soldier! Then I activate the Spell Card The Judgement of the Fiends! (The Judgement of the Fiends|Spell Card|Continuous| Trubute 1 monster with 1500 or more ATK. ifthis card is face-up during your second Standby Phase after activation, Special Summon a Fiend-type monster with 1500 or less DEF form your hand or Deck, If the monster is destroyed, destroy this card. And now, Archfiend Soldier, attack his Pegasus! Finish him!

Ryan: I activate my Amber Mammoth’s special effect! Amber Mammoth, protect Pegasus!

Jordan: HA!!! That monster is even weaker!

Archfield Soldier sliced with his sword and turned Mammoth in a shining orange crystal.

Ryan’s LP: 2600 (3000-400)

Jordan: After setting one more face-down, I end my turn!

Ryan: Okay! *draws* You made a big mistake activating Ultimate Offering, dude! I activate Crystal Promise, Special Summoning Topaz Tiger from my Spell and Trap card zone! After that, I summon the last 2 cards in my hand: Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle (Crystal Beast – Cobalt Eagle|WIND|Level 4|Beast|Effect Monster|1400 ATK|800 DEF| Once per turn, you can return 1 face-up "Crystal Beast" card you control to the top of its owner's Deck. (Crystal Beast – Emerald Tortoise|WATER|Level 4|Beast|Effect Monster|600 ATK|2000 DEF| Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can change 1 monster on your side of the field that has attacked this turn to face-up Defense Position. Ryan’s LP: 2100 (2600-500)

Ryan: Fear my Crystal Beasts!

Jordan: Hmpf. I have nothing to fear.

Ryan: Don’t ordeal! I activate my face-down Shrink! (Shrink|Spell Card|Quick-Play|Halve the ATK of 1 face-up monster on the field until the end of this turn.)

Jordan: What?! Noooo!!

Jerry: Yes! Now your Archfiend Soldier becomes tiny-tiny!

Archfiend Soldier shrinks, and, unable to carry his sword, falls over.

(ATK = 1150)

Ryan: Now, Eagle, attack his Archfiend “Soldier”!

Jordan: Muhahaha! You forget my face-down Card! Mirror Force, activate!

(Mirror Force|Trap Card|When your opponent’s Monster attacks, destroy all face-up attack Position monsters on your opponent’s side of the field.)

Ryan: I chain my Trap! The Beast out of the Cave! (Beast out of the Cave|Trap Card|Add 1 Beast-type monster from your Deck to your hand.)All of the Crystal Beasts, except Eagle, crystallize. When the dust settles, a big, green giant is seen, roaring and swinging with a club.

Jordan: WHAT!?!

Gang: Boss, what is that for ugly thing?!

Jerry: Superb, Ryan! Good move!

Ryan: In the time you was celebrating your Mirror Force, I activated my Trap! Therefore, I added Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest, to my hand! And with its effect, at the cost of 1000 Life Points, I summoned him(Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest |EARTH|Level 7|Beast|Effect Monster|2600 ATK|1000 DEF|When a Beast-Type monster you control is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard.)

Ryan’s LP: 1100(2100-1000)

Jordan: Hey! That’s not fair!

Ryan: Oh yes it is! And now, Green Baboon, destroy his pathetical Archfiend!

The little Archfiend ran in circles, but could not escape the club of Green Baboon.

Jordan: AAARGH!!!

Jordan’s LP: 2050(3500-1150)

Ryan: And now it’s your turn!

Jordan: Better have a lucky draw then… *draws* Yesss!!! I activate Swords of Revealing Light! (Swords of Revealing Light|Spell Card|Flip all face-down monsters on your opponent's side of the field face-up. This card remains face-up on the field for 3 of your opponent's turns. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent cannot declare an attack.)

This will stop you for a couple of turns!

Gang: Go boss!

Ryan: Hmpf. You just got lucky! Draw! Ah, excellent! I activate Rare Value! Now, choose a crystal, and destroy it!

Jordan: I will destroy your Topaz Tiger!

The yellow crystal exploded.

Ryan: Now, I can draw 2 cards! Hm! I play Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat in attack Position! (Crystal Beast – Amethyst Cat|EARTH|Level 4|Beast|Effect Monster|1200ATK|400 DEF| This card can attack your opponent directly. When it does so using this effect, any Battle Damage it inflicts to your opponent is halved. If this card is destroyed while it is in a Monster Card Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card, instead of sending it to the Graveyard.) After that, I set one card face-down! Your turn!

Jordan: The time arrived! Muhahaha!! I draw, and during my Standby Phase, I can Special Summon a Fiend with 1500 or less DEF! I Summon my Metallic Sun Fiend!

(Metallic Sun Fiend|DARK|Level 6|Fiend|Effect Monster|2200ATK|1200 DEF| When this card is Special Summoned, destroy 2 cards on the field. Destroy this card immediately if this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up.)

And due to his effect, I can destroy up to 2 cards on the field! I destroy your Green Baboon and… your face-down card!

Ryan: Hmpf! There goes my Draining Shield!

Jordan: Seems that I made the right choise! Now, Metallic Sun Fiend, attack his Amethyst Cat!

Metallic Sun Fiend blasted Amethyst Cat with a laser gun.

Ryan’s LP: 100(1200-1000)

Ryan: Must… hold…on…

Jordan: Mhahahaha!! Fear my Metallic Fiend! Your field is clear, aside of some worthless crystals!

Ryan: Everything relies on my next draw… if I won’t draw the right card, I’ll be toast!

Jordan: I guess it’s your turn, Sindey!

Ryan: There he goes…Draw! Yesss!!!

Jordan: What the hell happens to you?! You are…. glowing… faintly!

Ryan: This is because I just drew the right card to win this duel….

Jordan: Where are you talking about?! Your ape is dead, you have not a single monster, only 100 Life Points left, and yet you threaten me?!

Ryan: Yes, Squirrel! Behold! CRYSTAL ABUNDANCE!!! (Crystal Abundance|Spell Card|Send 4 "Crystal Beast" cards from your Spell & Trap Card Zone to the Graveyard. Send all cards on the field to the Graveyard. Then, Special Summon as many "Crystal Beast" monsters as possible from your Graveyard, up to the number of your opponent's cards that were sent to the Graveyard by this card's effect.)

Jordan: What!?!

The Crystals near Ryan begin to swing swiftly, sucking everything on the field into it, then, that whole stuff exploded.

Jordan: What?! NO!!!!!

Ryan: Yes! And now, I can Special Summon up to three Crystal Beasts from my Grave! I Summon Topaz Tiger, Sapphire Pegasus and Amber Mammoth!! Now my beasts, attack him directly! Crystal Beam!

Jordan: Nooooo!!!

Jordan’s LP: 0 (2050-5500)

Ryan: And that’s how the Squirrel got defeated.

Jordan: Grrr!!!! You will pay me for this!!

Manager: Excellent! Excellent! Ryan, Jerry, it will be an honor for me to give this job to you two! Congratulations!

Ryan: Thank you, sir!

[spoiler=Episode 3: The Great Tournament]Episode 3: The Great Tournament

It is deep in the morning… the grass sprinkles from dawn when a brown-haired boy silently walks on his toes to a house, with his golden looking trumpet bounded to his back… that Jerry. Never gives up.

In the house, Ryan continues to sleep further, apparently not knowing his soon demise…

Jerry takes his trumpet, raises it, then remembers something and jumps away in fear… he opens his umbrella…and tries again….

PWAAAAAAAAP.

Silence…

No horrible screams, no pails with water in them... nothing…

At that moment, some other boy walks into the street and calls Jerry’s name…

Scene changes to Kaiba Corporation.

Inside, Mokuba is talking with Bodare:

Kaiba: Bodare, you think it’s true what that man said?

Bodare: I don’t know, sir. Believing in such things gets a scientist all dizzy.

Kaiba: I understand what you mean…… that certainly is unbelievable…

Bodare: But if it’s true…?

Kaiba: *sigh*… Pegasus offered me to make a tournament, to determine the rescue team.

Bodare: And?

Kaiba: And?! I don’t trust him! How can he do business with me for about three years, all the time know about Seto, and don’t say a word about him?!

Bodare: Calm, sir. I understand your feelings… But actually, it’s a very good idea. With the prize we set, many duelists will participate, and our team will be perfectly made.

Kaiba: Yes, that is what Pegasus said….. aaaah, I think I have no choice.

Bodare: Either way, don’t worry, sir. We will find your brother…

Then, suddenly a waiter opened the door and asked:

Waiter: Mr. Kaiba, there is someone who likes to speak with you.

Kaiba: I ain’t in the mood now. Send him away.

Waiter: But, master, I think you want to speak with this person. He says it’s about the coming tournament…

Scene changes to some pub in the middle of the city. Not many customers are seen in there, only a man with black hair and a square, strict face and a woman with long, white hair which reaches her middle.

Barman: Aaaah, Gideon! And Mira! Surprised to see you here!

Gideon: Hello, Joe!

Mira: Hi, Mr. Wheeler.

Joey: *grins* How many times I have to tell you? It’s JOEY! I feel old when I’m called “Mr. Wheeler!”

Gideon: Heheh! Well I’m sure Mira just did it to annoy you, right?

Joey: Anyways, what does bring you two in my little pub?

Gideon: Just wanted to swallow a glass of good whisky and ask some questions.

Joey: Sure thing! And the lady?

Mira: Same, Joey.

Joey: Here you two go. You said something about questions?

Gideon: Well, Mira and I heard something about a tournament here, so I thought we’ll check it out.

Joey: And?

Gideon: Well, recently I opened a new-bought pack and found this: *shows card*

Joey: Interesting. This is really rare. You should participate with the tournament for sure!

Scene changes to the moss-covered house of Ryan.

Inside, the duelist is still sleeping like before, and no sign of Jerry…

Then, he awakens, and takes out his ear muffs…

…Then he looks out the window, hoping to see Jerry. A real mad Jerry. But…

Jerry: Now, I Flip my Golem Sentry once more! Return your face-down to your hand!

Jordan: Nooo! ARGH!!

Jerry: And now, Boomerang Warrior, Pitch-Black Warwolf, attack him directly!

The monsters attack and knock Jordan’s Life Points counter to zero.

Ryan: ?!?!!!? What are you two doing in front of my house?!

Jerry: Well I sit here and wait for you, but accidentally some squirrel appeared and wanted to duel me…

Ryan: I see. You haven’t forgotten about the tournament, have you?

Jerry: Else I wouldn’t be here, ya know. Now, come here quickly. We’ve lost much time already…

Jordan: Grrrr!!! You will pay for this, bastard!

Jerry: You’re actually still alive? Go and play with your gorilla friends, little Squirrel.

Jordan runs away together with his so called friends, muttering something about “bastards” and “imbeciles”. And “mommy”.

After a few minutes, Ryan appears.

Ryan: Here I am!

Jerry: About time. Let’s go and sign up for the tournament as fast as possible!

Ryan: You obviously forgot that the new pack came out yesterday night?

Jerry: True, dammit. What’s that thing around your neck?

Ryan: Oh, that’s that crystal I found yesterday. Seems to be pretty to wear.

Jerry: Your thing. Now, let’s move on!

The boys walk into the city, heading into the card shop.

Scene changes to Kaiba Corporation. Inside, Mokuba was talking with…

Keith: Hello as well, Mokuba Kaiba.

Kaiba: And what business brings you into Kaiba Corporation?

Keith: Like you haven’t heard from the waiter. I came because Pegasus asked me to give you the last instructions before the contest. Tonight, as you know, the whole city is set up on feet with the great news of the tournament.

Kaiba: I know that. And the ultimate prize for the top seven participants is the chance to make their own card.

Keith: And those seven will be your rescue team for Seto, as told.

Kaiba: Yes. Till this moment, the only known information was the where’s and when’s, right?

Keith: Yes, so I should inform the city about the prize as quickly as possible.

In that time, Ryan and Jerry walk out the cards shop with the newly bought packs:

Ryan: Oh wow! I bet this will be at least an Ultra Rare!

Jerry: Yes-yes, dreaming is healthy. Now, 3, 2, 1..!

The boys ripped their packs open at the same time.

Jerry: Let’s have a look…. crap… another piece of crap…. something called Raiza the Storm Monarch…. hmmm…*reads effect*… still crap…. wow, Megarock Dragon, that would be useful! Together with “Rock Boomerang!”

Ryan: And the Rare one?

Jerry: Some field card called “Ancient City – Rainbow Ruin”. Don’t need it. But what about you?

Ryan: Let’s have a look….. wow… another Sapphire Pegasus…. along with three Cyber junk.. not that I need them… then we have “Des Counterblow” and “Canyon Wasteland”.

Jerry: Ah! Care to trade Ancient City for Canyon Wasteland?

Ryan: Whatever. Hey, did you hear that?

Some voice sounded though the city:

Voice: …This is a newsflash from Kaiba Corporation to all duelists in the city. The 3-day Great Yu-Gi-Oh Tournament starts on 2 hour this afternoon. Please do not forget and register as soon as possible on the foot of Kaiba Corporation Main building. Don’t forget your gear and Deck – both will be tested on cheating. Also, the prize for the top 7 duelists in the town will be the chance of creating their own, unique, playable Yu-Gi-Oh card…

Jerry: Wow! Did you hear that? Awesome!

Ryan: We could create everything we want! I already pictured… Ultimate Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest!

Voice: …However, the card the winners get to make has to be pretty balanced…

Jerry: Now you heard it!

Ryan: Enough talk. Let’s get to Kaiba Corporation as fast as possible!

Near Kaiba Corporation, there is a huge mass of duelists and other people who want some excitement. Just near the entrance Gideon and Mira sit down.

Gideon: Wonder when this mass clears up… What are they doing here anyways? There are not many good duelists in the city, and together they don’t crease such a mass.

Mira: Don’t forget, other citizens are here as well.

Gideon: What?! No Duel Watch again!... ARGH.

Mira: I’m afraid there will be. Ah, how do you aspect Kaiba Corporation not to see such a marvelous chance of selling popcorn as…

Gideon: Yeah-yeah, you’re right. Oh, look. It begins.

Gideon and Mira push themselves to the entrance.

A man with a dark suit and sunglasses greeted them.

Man: Hello there. Let me check your passports, mr…..?

Gideon: Gideon Wyeth. And this is the lady Miranda Smith.

Man: I see. Agreeable. Please continue to this door.

The two duelists nodded and walked in Kaiba Corporation.

Inside, a judge came to them.

Judge: Welcome to Kaiba Corporation! Your Duel skills will be tested right here!

Gideon: Fair enough. I’d like to start.

Judge: Of course, of course! Examiner nr IV, come here please!

Examiner: Let’s see what you got, dude. Here and now.

Gideon: Prepare to lose then!

Judge: I must warn you, nobody defeated Examiner nr. IV yet!

Gideon: Yes. Yet.

Examiner: Let’s see what you have, then! DUEL!!

Gideon: DUEL!

Gideon activates his duel disk on his right hand.

Examiner: Golden rule: examiners start! *draws* Hm! I activate Ancient Rules! (Ancient Rules|Spell Card|Special Summon 1 Level 5 or higher Normal Monster from your hand.) With this, I Special Summon my Frostosaurus! (Frostosaurus|WATER|Level 6|Dinosaur|2600 ATK|1700 DEF) Then, I Special Summon Gilasaurus, (Gilasaurus|EARTH|Level 3|Dinosaur|Effect Monster|1400 ATK|700 DEF| FLIP: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If you do so, your opponent can Special Summon 1 monster from their Graveyard.) and because I haven’t Normal Summoned yet, I summon Sabersaurus! (Sabersaurus|EARTH|Level 4|Dinosaur|1900 ATK|500 DEF) I end my turn with a face-down.

Gideon: And yet, you wasted all your hand but one card to Summon as much as possible in one turn. *sigh*, okay let’s bring some fun in this game! *draws* I have a fairly bad hand, though. I set one monster face-down. Then I activate Surrounding Shadows! (Surrounding Shadows|Spell Card|This turn, you can Set one more time. Your opponent can Set 1 monster from his/her hand.) This makes me to Set once more, but allows you the same, if you can.

Examiner: No, as you guessed.

Gideon: Nice then. I end with a face-down as well. Your turn.

Examiner: Hmmm, you did not show me what you run yet. I guess it will be clear after I attack! But first… *draws* HA! Nice! I set one card face-down, after that I Summon another Gilasaurus! And now, Frostosaurus, attack his face-down!

Frostosaurus fires a freezing beam at the face-down card, which reveals to be...

Gideon: Good job, guy! You just attacked my Gravekeeper’s Guard! (Gravekeeper’s Guard|DARK|Level 4| Spellcaster |Effect Monster|1000 ATK|1900 DEF| FLIP: Return 1 monster on your opponent’s side of the field to its owner’s hand)

Examiner: Gravekeepers?! What an amateur! What does that fatty anyway?

Gideon: Well, actually, it returns one monster on your side of the field to your hand, dude! So return your Sabersaurus!

Examiner: (What a noob! Someone who was smarter would return my dear Frostosaurus!) Ahem. Yes, Okay then! Gilasaurus #1, attack his second face-down!

Gideon: I chain! I activate Malevolent Catastrophe! (Malevolent Catastrophe|Trap Card|Add 1 Beast-type monster from your Deck to your hand.)

Examiner: So….?

Gideon: Watch!

A heavy storm appears, and waves the examiner’s Magical Cylinder and Negate attack away.

Gideon: Well, who is here a noob after all?! Who runs defensive traps and strong monsters at the same time?!?!

Examiner (shocked): What the hell!? You can read my mind?!

Gideon: Actually, you enjoyed that thought so much that you said it out loud -.-

Examiner (turns red): … anyways… it was true! Every normal player should return Frostosaurus!

Gideon: Except if you already attacked with him. Now your Sabersaurus was returned, he couldn’t attack anymore! And therefore it saved me one round.

Examiner: Why? What should happen then?!

Gideon: Open your eyes and watch the battle of your Sabersaurus:

Gilasaurus was fighting with Gravekeeper’s Spy, who dodged his bite and kicked him straight to the examiners face.

Examiner’s LP: 3400 (4000-600)

Gideon: My Gravekeeper’s Spy! Now, due to his effect, I can Summon Gravekeeper’s Assailant from my Deck! (Gravekeeper’s Spy|DARK|Level 4|Spellcaster|Effect Monster|1200 ATK|2000 DEF| FLIP: Special Summon 1 Monster Card that includes "Gravekeeper's" in its card name with an ATK of 1500 or less from your Deck.)A dark figure with a deadly knife appears near Gravekeeper’s Spy.

Gideon: Now you understand? Your Gilasaurus can’t beat my Assailant! (Gravekeeper’s Assailant|DARK|Level 4|Spellcaster|Effect Monster|1500 ATK|1500 DEF| You cannot activate this card's effect unless "Necrovalley" is on the field. When this card declares an attack, you can change the battle position of 1 face-up monster on your opponent's side of the field.)

Examiner: But my Sabersaurus could…

Gideon: Understand now?

Examiner: Enough talks. Your turn.

Gideon: Heheh. Meet your doom! *draws* Excellent! I activate Fissure, meaning I can kill your weakest monster! (Fissure|Spell Card|Destroy 1 face-up monster with the lowest ATK on your opponent’s side if the field.)

Examiner: Wait! But I have two on the field? You won’t say…

Gideon: Oh yes, buddy…. they both DIE!

Examiner: Aaargh!

Gideon: Heheh. This is not the end yet! I activate the ultimate Spell: Necrovalley! (Necrovalley|Spell Card|Field| As long as this card remains on the field, negate the effects of Spell, Trap and Monster Cards that affect a card(s) in the Graveyard, and neither player can remove cards in the Graveyards from play. Also, as long as this card remains on the field, increase the ATK and DEF of all monsters that include "Gravekeeper's" in their name by 500 points.)

The field changes to a long, silent valley.

Gideon: Now watch! I Tribute My Gravekeeper’s Spy to Summon Gravekeeper’s Chief! (Gravekeeper’s Chief|DARK|Level 5|Spellcaster|Effect Monster|1900 ATK|1200 DEF| You can only control 1 "Gravekeeper's Chief" at a time. Your Graveyard is unaffected by "Necrovalley". When this card is Tribute Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Gravekeeper's" monster from your Graveyard.)

A tall, mighty wizard in a white cloak appears.

Gideon: And it gains 500 Attack, by the way! And other Gravekeepers as well!

Examiner: … yes! But you still can’t beat my Frostosaurus!

Gideon: Oooh, we’ll SEE!! Gravekeeper’s Assailant, attack Frostosaurus!

Examiner: Ha! So the Assailant assailant’s himself! If you didn’t notice, my Frostosaurus surpasses your Assailant in attack by a big chunk of 600 Points!

Gideon: You really are a bad examiner! Because due to Assailant’s effect, he may change the Battle Position of your monster! So now your Frostosaurus goes to DEFENCE!

Examiner: And his defence is….

Gideon: 1700! Muhahahahahahaa!!!

Gideon is almost burning in flames of his evil laugh.

Mira: Erm… Gideon? Watch out, you’re past your limits….

Gideon: …..Yes. Back to the Duel!

Assailant, who looked on Gideon as in “ …Yeah.”, cut Frostosaurus head of with one blast.

Gideon: And now, Guard, Chief, attack him directly!

Gravekeeper’s Guard, attacks with his spear, when Chief loads a blast of blue energy and finishes the examiner.

Examiner: Nooooooo!!!

Examiner’s LP: 0 (3400-1500-2400)

Gideon: And here is the end of you! I won, without having a SINGLE Life Point lost!

Judge: Excellent! Excellent game! I can see your skill is high enough to participate! Here are the keys of your room; the contest will start as soon as all the participants are tested!

Gideon: That would take a long time.

Mira: And I?

Judge: Of course, of course! The next examiner is waiting for you, lady.

On that moment, somewhere in the huge mass by KC…

Jerry: Grrrrrr… I never forgive you!

Ryan: What?! How am I supposed to be responsible for this chaos?!

Jerry: Well, YOU were the one who slept 10 minutes more then allowed, so that we arrived here too late!

Ryan: Ahh, guy, c’mon…. I just wanted to annoy you one time only!

Jerry: And due to your stupidity we are LATE.

Ryan: Not at all. It COULD be worse.

Jerry: Yeah.-.-. Like, you cold forget about the ear muffs and the today’s tournament…

Ryan: Anyways, let’s stop quarreling…

The door to KC opens and Jordan Squirman gets kicked out and lands near Ryans and Jerry’s feet:

Waiter: You are a shame for all the duelists in the city! Now get out of here!

Jerry: Hey there, Squirrel’s kicked out! Well that’s just prove this tournament is worth it, right?

Jordan looks up, sees Jerry’s face, screams, gets up and runs away.

Waiter: You there! Duelists! I guess it’s your turn!

Jerry: Well what do you think, Ryan? Shall we?

Ryan: Indeed.
