Hey. I'm inventing a new sport, yet to be named. Like most sports, it uses a ball, but this game isn't like any other sports...Well, it does have some similarities to football and basketball, but that's it.

To start, a player (Position is First Forward [FF]) tosses the ball at two players. (One is an ally to the First Forward, one is opposition. Both have the position Side Forward. [sF]) They must catch the ball for possession. This is called "Marking" the ball. (Marking has a similarity to the toss at the beginning of a Basketball game, doesn't it?)

Like rugby, football, basketball, soccer, etc; the player must pass. But if the player is not moving and doesn't pass or go to score for over 5 seconds, it's a techinical foul. An overhand pass is similar to that of an overhand pass in football. It can also be underhand.

Only a player with the position of First Roller can score. "Rolling" is a score. There are three ways to roll. A "Farroll" is a normal score. It is worth 3 points in the Rolling Zone, 5 outside. A "Nearroll" is when it is forced into the goal, which is a cylinder. It is worth 2 points. A player with the position Side Roller can assist in a Duoroll, where the Side Roller passes to a First Roller, who then scores in either Farroll or Nearroll. Either way, a Duoroll is worth 2 points.

The final position is Roundhouse. There are two Roundhouse players per team. Roundhouses can perform an offensive tactic without breaking a rule.

General Rules

Player cannot stand still for over 5 seconds with a Roll/Pass attempt. If this occurs, the opposition gets possession.

Going Out of Bounds results in a Marking of the ball, but the Side Forward from the team that did not go Out of Bounds can stand 2 feet closer to the First Forward.

Offensive tactics not make by a Roundhouse results in a Marking of the ball, but the Side Forward from the team that did not make an offensive tactic can stand 2 feet closer to the First Forward.

If a Roundhouse player uses an offensive tactic to the private areas of opposition, the opposition gets possession.

Only 4 Timeouts can be used per game.

A game is divided into Rounds. A Round lasts 5 minutes and there are 3 rounds per game.

I've decided to name this sport Cylball (Sil-ball), since you score in a Cylinder. I'll also be founding the NCL. [National Cylball League]

None
