"Dark Soul Origin.....Origin....." I stuttered, my face facing down, my arms balled into fists " Origin!!!" I shouted with all I could. Origin seems to be reacting to my call, it's spirit broke free from the seal, descending onto my side of the field. " Ori...gin...." Origins head flashed, I came into contact with it, visions of his previous master flashed before me. Flashback~~~ There's a tan skinned boy about my age standing right at a stone tablet, the kanji of the DARK attribute was carved on it, the other five attributes were close by, arranging into a hexagon of sorts, a few kids stood in front ot the other tablets, each came into contact with the corresponding tablet. I watched as the markings transfered themselves towards the kids, known as seals, according to the readings from the tablet (which wasnt written in any 'real' language.), which I somehow knew how to read. The six persons gathered together, focusing their energy on a blank card, energy spirals twisted around the six Innovators forming a beam that shooted itself towards the sky, colored particles rained down the area. Present I woke up in the middle of the duel after that memory flash, both monsters are still clashing. "Guess I'll have to end this somehow!" I shouted, "From my hand, I activate the spell card 'Barrier Invertion!" "I chain a card in my hand, known as 'Spell Redirection!" said Tony, showing me the card. "What!!" I gasped, I watched as my spell card fade away from my field's Spell/Trap card zone. The two monsters kept on clashing. Damn, I'm almost out of options!" then there's this one card in my hand, I used to hate it, but it seems like the only chance. Link to comment

Stigma_Horrizone Posted April 24, 2011 Author Report Share Posted April 24, 2011 Alright, it’s time to end this damn hiatus and start writing again…… I got lazy for a while and got grounded for quite a while…… Well, without any further ado, here’s the next chapter (Last one for Book 1) [spoiler=Chapter Sixteen]I returned to reality where Dark Soul Origin and Saint Soul Origin clashed, there’s a flash, and when I realized it, Saint Soul Origin disappeared while Dark Soul Origin landed beside me, I could see the feeling of sadness upon Origin, mourning over his former ally. I feel that too boy...... Tony grinned, despite the loss of his ace monster (LP 1000-3200+3000=800). “I’ll activate ‘Origin’s effect to return all cards on the field to their decks.” He declared. I watched as all the cards on the field disappeared into wisps of smoke and dissolving into our decks. Crap, this couldn't be good “Next!!” continued Tony in a cocky tone “I’ll activate the effect of Saint Soul Origin / Revived to special summon itself when Origin is destroyed by battle.” A bolt of lightning shot down from the sky and revived Origin, but this time, its armor is further upgraded, Instead of a living armor, the lightning took form of a humanoid, four energy wings spread outwards in the form of swords, while the armor reformed into a larger, more hi-tech aircraft like armor. (ATK 3500) [spoiler=Lore]You can Special Summon this card from your hand Deck or Graveyard if a Saint Soul Origin is destroyed by battle. This Special Summon cannot be negated by Spell, Trap or Monster effect(s). Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle, it is not destroyed. All monsters your opponent controls must attack this monster, if able. When this card is removed from the field, return all cards on both players side of the field to their owner’s decks. Negate all effect damage, or an effect(s) that targets until the End Phase. I took a step backwards and took a deep breath as the giant monster stare me in the eye. “I set 1 card to end my turn.” I declared the look of helplessness written all over my voice. Tony grinned, “Die!!!!!!!!!!!!” he shouted “Origin / Revived attacks, with Void Star!!” the energy swords around Saint gathered and compressed into an orb of pure energy, it took aim and fired straight at me. “I activate the effect of Battle Fader!” I declared as I placed a card on my duel disk. A demonic looking cross shaped demon appeared in front of me, taking the impact of that blast head-on, the energy dispersed and dissolved into nothingness. “Battle Fader” I explained “can end the Battle Phase by special summoning itself.” “Then I set two cards to end my turn.” Declared Tony. “That makes my move!! Draw!!” I closed my eyes as I swipe the card from the top of my deck, pouring all my spirit into it. This one last draw will make a difference.I opened my eyes and gazed at the card that the Innovator gave me, and already I could see a comeback strategy. “From my hand, I summon Dark Soul Summoner!” I declared, as wisps of purple mist hurls up upon my field, as the mist clears a fiendish purple armor clad warrior appeared, two swords stored at the sheaths mounted at its back. (ATK: 1500) “By using its effect,” I continued “ I Special Summon Dark Soul Joker!” ‘Summoner took a scroll that’s stored on its belt and opened it, releasing texts which forms a sphere, within it wisps of smoke appeared all around me, solidifying into a four-legged skeleton with a Mexican hat and a clowns face, acidic green drools dripped from its lower fangs. White bones formed armor and attached to it, the rest of the smoke transformed into black fur. (ATK 1400) Tony grinned, as he spoke to me with a fiendish tone. “All those Monsters don’t even stand a chance against my Origin,” He laughed. “Maybe not!” I replied, “But this card can.” I flipped over the blank card that I just drew, which was still blank at the moment. Upon seeing this, Tony laughed again. “I’ll summon this card by sending the three cards I control to the graveyard!!” I placed the card on my duel disk after sending the others to the grave, that card started to burn in violet flames, spirals of energy started flowing around, as text started to materialize on that card, “Come Forth! Dark Soul Origin / Revived!!” [spoiler=Lore]Send 3 'Dark Soul' monster you control to Special Summon this card. This Special Summon cannot be negated by Spell, Trap or Monster effect(s) . Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle, it is not destroyed. When your opponent's monster declares an attack, you can select it, then remove this card from play and negate the attack. During the End Phase, Special Summon this card that was removed from play by this effect. Once per turn, When this card is Special Summoned destroy 1 card on the field. When your opponent summons a Monster for the first time this turn, you can decrease 1 Face-up Monster's ATK by 1000. When this card is removed from the field by battle or by an effect other than this card's effect, Special summon 1 Dark Soul Origin from your Extra Deck, ignoring it's summoning conditions. Dark Soul Origin rose from the ground and purged all its armor, the energy streams released from my card reforms it’s body into a long, dragon-serpent like body, with a dragon skull for a head, a rider formed from the remaining energy, riding on Origin, the knight raised its Sword and aimed it at Saint Soul Origin / Revived.“By using my Origin’s Effect, I can destroy one card on my field!” I declared “Origin destroy his Origin! Dispersal Quasar Stream!” Dark Soul Origin / Revived gathered energy at the tip of its sword in the form of a violet warp hole, it flung it at the direction of Saint Soul Origin / Revived, which dissolved upon contact. “I’ll activate my Origin’s Effect!!” Declared Tony “Sending all cards on the field to their owner’s decks!!” Ripples of lightning ripped through the field, repelling all cards on the field back to the deck. I only grinned upon this. “You think I don’t know about that?” I asked in a sarcastic tone. “I use Dark Soul Origin / Revived’s effect to special summon its original counterpart!! Come forth! Dark soul Origin!!” Dark Soul Origin / Revived dissolved into energy and reformed into its original form, a dog-dragon like creature clad in gold armor. It spreaded its blade-like wings, releasing ripples of wind. (ATK 3200) “Origin!!” I commanded “ Attack him directly, Grave Force!!” Origin folded itself into a jet-plane like gesture, It shot pass Tony, taking the last of Tony’s Lifepoints (800-3200=0), as well as breaking the barrier that formed during the start of the duel. The mist cleared, showing the sun. I descended from the platform and walked towards my teammates, who were just waking up. “Uhh, what happened?” Asked Chris. “It’s a long story…” I replied, helping him up at the same time. Joey and Ken walked towards us, standing side by side to each other, as the light shined upon us. “And the Winners for this tournament are Max, Joey, Ken and Chris!” Exclaimed MC, the commentator. We made our ways towards the stage, where the tournament sponsor gave us the briefcase containing the prizes. And just like that, all this ended, we went back to America and continue on our lives. Unknown Character "That guy seems to be better than I expected......Kufufufufufufu..... This could be interesting." "Master, your tea." said my servant, I took a sip at the tea, glancing at the horizon. "Adam, you're up." I commanded A buck-toothed boy crouched behind me. "Yes master..." He replied and reached out to his deck box, pulling a copy of Alector, Sovereign of Birds from it. Alector, a humanoid Winged Warrior clad in white armor appeared in a gust of wind, Adam rode on it, taking of to US. Turn Unfinished…… [spoiler=Card of the Day] [spoiler=Lore]Send 3 'Dark Soul' monster you control to Special Summon this card.
