Felix
I was checking through anivide and I come across these. http://www.anivide.com/index.html?cid=829 Three more FMA episodes, what's going on and what are they for? I don't want to watch unless I know what the thinking behind it is. FMA was so cool, one of the best, if not the best animes I've seen and I don't want these to ruin it. Anyone know whether this is a completetly new story or something else entirely? Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood it's called.
Enrise
FMA: Brotherhood, is just another remake of the original, but this was made from the Manga's point of view.
Felix
pfft, I'd rather read the manga then. Is it worth it?
Enrise
In the beginning, they introduce a "Water/Ice" Alchemist. I don't think that was in the manga though. But yeah, in my opinion, it is worth it.
Felix
There's already a bunch of stuff on my read/watch list so I'll do it some other time, it's not like it's going to go anywhere.
Enrise
Exactly. Oh yes, forgot to mention: Cornello doesn't sit back and watch a fight. His rebound makes him fight.
Felix
It's been a long time since I watched it, what's a rebound again. Was that the thing that is part of a Humounculus? I'm just about to watch the movie after like a year of no FMA, I didn't realise there was a perfect link to it on anivide. I've only ever bin able to watch portions of it. Might as well make this an FMA discussion, no point letting a thread go to waste.
Enrise
Exactly. So rewrite the title to something related to the following: FullMetal Alchemist discussion!
Felix
Just trying to get it to where Ed comes back, that's where I left it last time using some crappy links from alluc. EDIT: God damn it, stupid megavideo timed me out just as I was about to get to the bit I finished last time.
Arekku_Koro
It's better than the first anime.
Deity Mitsu
I'd have to disagree, even though there isn't many viewable episodes yet, so we shouldn't even be trying to compare the two yet... But Brotherhood seemed to introduce all of the characters from the first anime very quickly, excluding the Homunculus. I dunno, I'm probably gonna be completely biased for the first one since it's my favorite anime.

.Requiem
First one is much slower then the 2nd one, but still a good anime over all.
Jovi Siagian
Okay, I just wanna ask you a thing so I don't wanna make a thread or Blood Rose will lock it. Well, yeah, FMA: Brotherhood has been airing for 3 episodes here. And I think, I, who hasn't watched any single episode of FMA except those first 3 episodes of Brotherhood, am starting to like FMA. What I wanna ask is, if I didn't know the story of the original FMA, does that mean I'll get lost in Brotherhood?

Gamegeezer
Think of it like this FMA:Hellsing FMA:Brotherhood: Hellsing Ultimate, remake of the first series, but sticking to the manga more strictly. Im saying nothing about brotherhood yet, but Ultimate owns original hellsing any day. Rip Van Winkle FTW.
