Heroes [Ch.1]

Oh, please do PM me with storyline ideas and characters (Please don't post it here =p)

 

[spoiler=Chapter 1 - Generations][align=center]Daniel Rodriguez – Manaus, Brazil

It was a dark night in Brazil, when Daniel Rodriguez was running. He wasn’t running from a wild animal, or from aggressive natives, but from his life. He couldn’t live in his village anymore. Everyone was scared of him. They thought he was a devil, a monster sent from hell to kill them all. Yes, Daniel was different from the other people. He was special.

 

It all started in a hot day of November. It was midday, but it was dark, real dark. The sun went black, and the animals went to sleep. Most of the people starred at the sky confused. It was an eclipse. Daniel wasn’t really intrigued by those scientific characters. He thought that he should just care about what happened to him and people around him, and try and study things that would actually help him develop in life.

 

About 1 week after the eclipse, Daniel was walking with his dog. The dog bit his finger, and the young man got angry and tried to hit the dog. But when he touched the dog, something happened. Daniel felt like in a roller coaster. But he wasn’t himself, it was like his soul. The next thing he knew, he was about 1.30 meters shorter, he saw in black and white, and he had great smelling. He was his dog. Scared, Daniel just barked while seeing himself with a pale skin tone, white eyes, and in the same position as he was before. After 5 minutes of agony and chaos, Daniel came back to himself, with the same roller coaster feeling like before.

 

Daniel decided it was just a dream, as he woke up 1 hour after the incident. He kept living his normal life and went to school as the shy, innocent man was he was. He was a 17 year old Senior from a small school about 8 miles from Manaus and east from The Black River. He didn’t knew his biological parents. He was left and adopted to the Rodriguez’s, a loving family who Daniel loved.

 

As the days passed, Daniel forgot the incident with his dog. In school, he was doing great, and he was thinking about going to North America for college, but he had no money, and he might need to stay with Raul, his adoptive father, to help him on their farm, as he always did, to help the family with the basic needs.

The young man got into a fight. He may have been silent and shy, but he knew how to fight. When he landed a hit on the schoolmate who took his money, it happened again. The same old rollercoaster feeling that had happened almost 2 weeks ago was on Daniel’s flesh and blood. His power, or by then mostly a curse, struck again. Luckily there was no one nearby, and when Daniel returned to himself (This time he was only unconscious for 10 minutes), nothing was out of normal. The other kid thought Daniel knocked him and that was all.

 

After that day Daniel explored his powers. He realized he didn’t need to hit something, but he just needed to place a lot of energy on the object while touching it. The month went by, and Daniel kept being #1 of his class. After school, he went alone with his dog, and studied, then played with his powers. The finals for school were soon, and Daniel knew he would get excellent grades. In December the 14th school ended. Daniel ended with honors and he was so happy. Their parents gifted him a cell phone, which was something they couldn’t really afford. Daniel still took it unhesitant, because he knew that their parents meant it from the heart. Daniel then spend the rest of the month working with his father, and trying to see if he could get a scholarship for Harvard Medical School, but what he didn’t knew, was that his plans would be frustrated.

Eh, I'll try adding current characters, but not that much.

Still, thanks ;D.

 

Also, that sentence could have 2 meanings.

Stating that Hiro and Ando are the main characters, or stating that I should make Hiro and Ando the main characters.

Misuse of commas ftw. ;D

 

For a chapter it's way too short btw... =/

Try getting at least 5-10 pages of A4 for a Chapter. D:

I'm not a professional writer like some over here in this thread. D:

Also, most YCMers are too lazy when it comes to long chapters.

But eh, I'll make them longer now.

I write novels too, you know. And it may just be me but I try to get at least 10-20 pages per Chapter when I do; nothing to do with the fact I write Screenplays... =P
