OOC: People should already know their Persona, but it's okay.

 

IC: Watching with mild amusement, Haruto saw a mysterious snake-like being emerge from the side of Daisuke's temple, and introduce itself. "A Persona is a manifestation of your inner will, personality, psyche, etc," the teen said in response to Daisuke's question. "They just like to take the forms of mythical figures, for reasons that I'm not entirely sure of."

 

"Oh, yeah. Baron, Scattering Skulls." Haruto's Persona waved its cane, and three large skulls swung out in a wave, smacking into and shattering a set of Maya that were ready to pounce on the SEES members. "So, what can Degei do? You'll need to test out his skills sometime soon." The Baron nodded in agreement.

 

OOC: I just realized that the Baron's the only Persona so far that's mute. XD

Takahiro could tell Haruto was serious and let out a *sigh* and pulled out his evoker,"Fine, just dont get your pannies ina bunch." with that he laughed as he pulled the trigger. BANG! A blue cloud covered the area in which only one thing was visible, a single glowing red eye. "GRRAAAAAAAAGHRRR!" came the deep raor of Fenrir as the cloud faded Fenrir was turning his head in all directions scanning the area for the reason he was called out.

 

"There's no reason so stop look'n for it," came Takahiro's response as he patted Fenrir on the back. With that Fenrir crouched and closed his eyes. Takahiro knew that meant he was bored. "Ya ya I know, I'm bored too..." came Takahiro's response. "Now lets go get Ayumu and Yoshi!" He yelled, purposely forgetting to mention Yuki, and took off down the hallway.

[Wuu.]

OoC: Persona's can respond to someone else than their teen embodiment?

"Testing my ablities?" Degei asked Haruto with an overconfident tone "I am pretty aware that i can move and fight on my own." He added in. "Yeah... Um, what Degei said, it's not like Persona's are completely bound to us figuring we have to command them like troops, are they?"

Something suddenly shot into Daisuke's mind, it was like he knew the very abilities of his Persona "Degei, Snake Lunge in the air." He said out of control. Degei whispered to his snake, and out of nowhere the snake lunged in the air and flew like a spear.

OoC: FYI guys, Ayumu's persona creates a massive beacon of light. You guys should be able to see something of it.

As Takahiro came to the bottom of the stairs he looked around for Sho. "I guess he's pretty fast when he wants to be," came Takahiro's voice as he realised Sho wasn't in the area any more. He didnt feel a need to rush because although he hated Yuki, he felt Yuki would do a reasonable job at killing anything that posed a threat meaning Ayumu was safe.

 

Takahiro continued to walk at a slow pace, not really amused by the fact that no enemies were appearing.

[Encalade Shinamisu]

Sho, yet again comes upon shadows again. This time, it is a whole legion of skeletal shaped shadows...

 

"What the hell? How come noone detected this presence before?"

 

Thoth came out of him and nodded at him, and he nodded back, in agreement.

 

"Brilliant Blinding Light Of Destiny!"

 

The light of knowledge appeared from his book, and it's brilliant light forged his sword into an axe, which he picked out of it's spot, levitating in the air. Thoth entered the weapon, and gave it light...

 

"Turn!"

 

He yelled those words and let the first dawning light spread over his enemies. The light of the eygptian sun released onto a few shadows, whom disintegrated. The other shadows rushed him, each with a blade in hand. The group was on about 25, but these were unfair odds... He would need to use a lot of energy or some help...

 

"Godhand!"

 

The legions were paralyzed by the light, and Sho rushed forward with the axe and swung it to take down some. Unfortunately the legions moved again, and surrounded him in attack. He continued to parry blows...

"Need some help?" came a voice from across the room. Takahiro jumped out of the way to dodge an attack aimed at him. He drew his blade and sliced one shadow down the middle.

 

"Rapture Raor!" he yelled and Fenrir jumped out in front of him and howled and extremely loud roar. A hirricane seemed to be spewing from his mouth, but the wind wasnt normal, as some of it was a faint blue color and sliced through the shadows it came in contact with. About 5 shadows were blown across the room and sliced to pieces.

 

"Having fun without me?" Takahiro laughed, "Arent you a greedy bastard!" he yelled as he blocked an attack by one of the shadows and countered by slicing its head clean off.

OOC: That's powerplay... You can't control what happens to me... and that move was a bit op. I wanted it to be a lengthy descriptive battle or so on, until zexy gets online...

"Welcome to the battle slow one! How long can it take to get some damn help?"

He warded off another sword blow, they seemed to be multiplying. He counted them to about 30 instead of 20...

 

"Check out the area, is there some sort of summoner in this room? I can't tell where their numbers are coming from..."

 

The power coming from them was getting stronger...

 

"Blinding swipe!"

 

10 shadows were destroyed and some others knocked back, but they got back up and attacked again, some that were sliced from the earlier attacks rising again...

 

"They're putting themselves back together slowly! Turn them to ash!"

Ayumu heard the massive roar which reverbrated through Tartarus.

"Nyah! Let's find the guys Apo-chan!"

"Of course, but which direction did the sound come from?"

"Let's just go that way!"

Ayumu pointed down a hallway and rushed to that direction.

"Ayumu! Slow down!"

Apocaitquil rushed down the hall.

"Now, why you guys run off whenever I imply for you to stay put..." Exhaling deeply, Haruto sighed, and pulled an arrow out of his quiver. Nocking it, he sent the projectile flying into the mask of a nearby Shadow, shattering it. "Hey, Baron. Use Crossroads. I'd normally not want you to, but this is going to take too long otherwise..."

 

Giving a sign of approval, the Baron began to slowly circle the group of 4 Mayas left in the room, corralling them. The speed at which Haruto's Persona was moving began to increase, until it turned into a circular blur, almost like a wall. Then, suddenly, he stopped, and 4 afterimages of the Baron thrust their canes into the monsters' masks, disintegrating them into a cross-shaped pattern of black dust.

 

Slumping down, Haruto took a break from movement to rest. That always drains me...

OOC: Sorry guys, I was at some function this morning. -.-

 

Yuki gave pursuit after Ayumu, as like her, he had heard quite the ruckus up ahead. Earlier, he had opted to simply tuning the others out - they were all so unorganized, and they way they undermined Hatruto's position as second boiled Yuki's blood - he didn't personally like Haruto anymore than he liked anyone else, but he detested those who couldn't stay in line.

 

Looks like he would have to do some biting after all.

 

It didn't take long to find them (Valefor dragging Yoshi along for the ride, as he was far too slow to keep up), and he was greeted by the sight of Takehiro, Sho, and Haruto doing battle with a group of Shadows. There were also two other individuals Yuki didn't recognize.... newbies?

 

"Valefor, put the wimp down. Seems we have some work to do." yuki stated, taking note of the continuing flood of Shadows. (TBC, don't cut me off. xD I have a character limit, so hang on).

"Now why would ya go and do that! Now there's nothing to kill!" Takahiro was just starting to have fun. He put his sword away and pocketed his hands. He then realized that in the fight he lost his toothpick. "*sigh*" he pulled one out of his pocket and bit it.

 

"Well no time for rest lets go find Ayumu and Yoshi" he announced as he pointed in the direction they were heading. He then began to walk calmly while Fenrir yawned from bordom and followed.

This must have been one of the infamous "Spawn Points"; areas in Tartarus where the Shadows seemed to appear in droves, with almost no end in sight. A quick analysis and scan from Valefor showed him he was right.

 

"Everyone, while I appreciate your valiant efforts, I'll need to ask you all to get off of this floor. It's too dangerous for you to remain." he instructed. "I'll stay behind to ward them off while you get those two out of here." he added, gesturing to Ayumu and Yoshi, both of whom looked as though they had seen better days.

 

While the Shadows may have been nearly innumerable, Yuki felt perfectly fine fighting them. Because this sort of high-risk situation was just the sort of thing he craved.

 

He took his stance in front of Haruto's slumped form, Valefor by his side as he readied his blade. "Get going. I'll handle things here." he ordered as his maniac grin appeared on his face. "I'll bite them all to death."

 

OOC: Yes, FS, you can haz your points. ^^

"Aye, I was using too much energy anyways..."

Sho got up and recalled all of his energy including his persona, and stood behind Yuki to watch the show. He always enjoyed a good rage...

 

"Show them your strength Yuki, don't forget to destroy the bones also..."

"Allow you to have all the fun? Ha!" Takahiro wasnt one to back away from a fight he walked over and stood next to Yuki,"Although I hate workn with ya, lets show the newbies why once apon a time you and me were once an unstoppable team." he grinned an insane grin and laughed "After all we are the senior members here" He drew his sword and faced the shadows.

 

"Hahahaha..."

Yoshi turned to Yuki with a worried look. He was sure Yuki could handle the Shadows, but what would happen if he got trapped here again? Could he last through the entire night (Er, Day?) without any support?

 

"Yuki. Here, this is thanks for the egg." Yoshi had his hands held out in front of him, in it, was a rare bowl of Soma. Yoshihiro was almost blushing when he tried to give it to him.

 

Then, Yuki seemed to experience a sudden change. His smile was becoming distorted. He was obviously filled with rage, or maybe he just wanted to kill something? In either case, Yoshi didn't like it, and he really didn't like his threat.

"Tonight. I-I kind of feel bad for the Shadows."

 

It seemed Takahiro was staying too. Even Yoshihiro could see this was a bad idea. If they both got stuck here, they'd end up killing each other before the night's (Day's) over with. Yoshihiro sighed. Why did they have to hate each other?

 

"Uhm. Maybe you shouldn't Takahiro-Senpai..."

Takahiro wasnt paying attention to Yoshi. Actually he wasnt paying attention to anyone, he was lost in thought trying to utalize his psychic powers. His head was tilted toward the floor so that his hair covered his eyes. All that was visible was his huge grin as he laughed a quiet laugh "Hahahahaha..." He had a very dark look to him. Fenrir began to react to Hiro's psychic energy and got down into a pounce position with his only open eye glowing red and his teeth flaring. He was growling now and shaking slightly. Takahiro was in sink with Fenrir which allowed him to communicate to Fenrir through his mind. This made them much better at fighting. Takahiro then focused on Yuki's mind and spoke to him psychically so no one else could hear. "Well how about it?" he said in a very dark way...

Under any other circumstance, Yuki would be completely averse to having Takahiro anywhere near him. But at the moment, he was possessed by his very rare battle lust. So instead, he muttered a simple "Just don't get in my way."

 

Yoshi had offered him a bowl of Soma, as well. This caused Yuki to consider who else was here for a moment - Sho was pulling back, Ayumu and Yoshi were waiting by the weakened Haruto, and the two new guys were also hanging back - the vermin was beside him. 7 other people here. So why was Valefor telling him there was another human presence in the area?

 

Were he more sedate, he would have considered it. Instead, he opted to simply ignore the gift, and rushed forward at once, rapier tracing wave-like lines through the air as he did.

 

Mayas covered the forward flank of the group he was targeting. And in moments, they would be gone.

 

A single word was uttered to his Persona. "Rissoluto."

OOC: what your witnessing is one of the rare occasions where Takahiro actually tries and focus's his mind to make him much stronger and better at fighting, after all this is a big fight.

"Flash Fury..." Takahiro whispered as he laughed. Fenrir vanished and suddenly appeared behind a shadow and slashed through it like nothing and then vanished again only to appear behind another one. He was vanishing and reappearing at a violent speed all around the room to the point where it would be immpossible to follow him with your eyes. Takahiro couldnt move as it took 100% of his focus to stay in this state. His smile was gone and his eyes were glowing red just like Fenrir's now as they were in 100% sinc. There was a whirlwind of flashing blurs that was Fenrir all around the room wiping out a large amount of the shadows, but just as fast as they were dissapearing, they were reappearing. So Takahiro sped Fenrir up some more. Viens on Takahiro's head began to throb and become visable, his body was shaking and a faint purple glow was around him. He would die if he continued like this but he had lost control over it and couldnt stop. His mind was completely consumed...

[Zexaeon]

As his command was uttered, green, flaring energy lit up the air around him, his rapier looking like something akin to an arrow as the energy lunged him forward, leaving a trail of green behind him as he went.

 

Valefor held onto his shoulders, her spear mounted on her back, pushing him forward further. The entire ensemble made it look as though Yuki was a winged arrow, flying forward and cleaving through the Shadows in his path.

 

The Shadows, especially the lazy Mother Empresses who sat back in their thrones, never saw the blow coming. The aftermath of their destruction left nothing but green shards and whispy blackness in the air.

 

Yuki looked around him at the death he had wrought. But there were still more. More Shadows than he could count were still flooding out of the halls toward them.

 

He just smiled.
