@ThisGuy: Arcana are the major arcana of tarot cards. So far, your options are Magician, High Priestess, Empress, Emperor, Hierophant, Lovers, Chariot, Strength, Hermit, Hanged Man, Death, Temperance, Devil, Tower, Moon, and Sun. For mythology, use any mythology. Check www.godchecker.com for ideas.

@Otaku-Sama: A bit more description on the appearance of the Persona, but you're otherwise in. However, could you maybe gender-switch him. We need a girl or 2.

@Mirage: Accepted.

@Zex: You may make a second.

Once Otaku-Sama fixes his, we shall start. For now, new applications will only be accepted over PM.

OOC: @Otaku, accepted. I also changed up my Persona (Rave-dancing death loa, anyone?), so from here, I declare our RP OPEN.

IC:

NIGHT

Tartarus could never win the award for the most organized place. Considering that it rose out of the ground every night on top of Gekkoukan High, there was some clutter to be expected. However, this wasn't the major thought on Haruto Ashizuka's mind. Rather, it was how to dodge the Maya shadow that was trying to tackle him at full speed currently.

"Gack!" Diving to the ground, Haruto could only barely watch the monstrous black blob silently fly over his head. Dropping his bow in the process, he quickly picked it up, and looked around. "Is everyone doing OK? D'ya think we should Evoke yet?" Drawing and nocking an arrow, he sent it flying into the head of the Shadow, and it quickly faded away upon receiving the wound.

OOC: Wait for Zex or I or Marly to Evoke before doing it, so we can show you how to do it.

@Marly: Maybe. I'll have to figure out how to do that, since nobody has Wild Card.

Yuki scoffed at his all-too-eager partner in arms.

"Evoke? Against these weaklings?" he asked indredulously, driving his point home by slicing cleanly through the mask of one of the Mayas surrounding the group. "It would be a waste of time. Though you may feel free if you're already tired out, Ashizuka."

One particular Mayu caught the stoic man's attention as it tried feebly to initiate a sneak attack against the boy in question. "And you may want to look out behind you." Yuki decided to be gracious enough to inform him.

OoC: Here's Tartarus and The Dark Hour, for any who are curious:

Now, that got Haruto miffed.

"Well, not everyone can be as strong as you, Suou!" To punctuate his distraughtness, he pulled an arrow from his quiver, but instead of firing it, he simply slammed the tip into the Maya's mask, disintegrating it completely. "Besides," he continued while setting his bow on the ground, "it'll make it go faster. Right?" Withdrawing the Evoker from its holster on his belt, Haruto looked at it nervously, before gulping, and setting it against his temple. This always scares me, but... He pulled the trigger.

"BANG!" Instead of a bullet, a swarm of triangular blue shards flew out of the opposite side of his head, swirling together in a large swarm. Slowly condensing, they spun together to form a figure in a 3-piece black suit decorated with bones and holding a gold cane.

"Baron Samedi, do you mind?" Without a word, the Persona swiftly stepped forward while extending its cane, skewering 3 Shadows at once. Satisfied, Haruto turned to his companion. "How do you like them apples?"

OoC: We could make it so each time you gain a Social Link, your Persona could level up.

IC:

"Ergh!" Yoshihiro had just been struck by a Shadow's attack, he had flown back a few steps, and was knocked down. He couldn't move, and started to panic.

"I'm so sorry everyone!" Tears ran down Yoshihiro's face, he felt as if he had let his team down. "I'm so sorry! If only I was as strong as Yuki!" He started to cry even louder, his cries echoed in the empty darkness of Tartarus.

In Yoshihiro's eyes, these were the only people to have ever accepted him as a friend, and he thought if he failed, they would dislike him. And he'd be alone again. He was prepared to do anything to stop that from happening.

"Yuki. I'm sorry, but I'm going to evoke now!"

Yoshihiro raised the gun-shaped tool to his head. He felt the cold metal on his temple. He hesitated. Could he really do this? His thoughts then drifted back to his team mates, and he pulled the trigger.

After a moment of tension, what seemed to be blue glass flew out of the side of Yoshihiro's other temple. A moment later, the glass was gone, and in it's place stood a figure in a black cloak.

"Binzuru-Sonja!" Yoshihiro said in new-found confidence. "Use Media!"

The entire group was now fully restored.

A look of distaste crossed Yuki's features as he listend to the kid practically bawl over a little scrape. He had serious emotional issues. However, Yuki was snide and a bit of a jerk, but he wasn't totally brainless - given the emotional condition of the kid, one wrong word from Yuki might just push him to suicide for all he knew.

Seeing as how he knew he would end up saying something vicious if he opened his mouth, he simply declined to comment on the waterworks, muttering a small "Thanks" when the Media spell healed up his scratches.

Instead, he addressed Haruto. "Ashizuka, I don't know how many times I'm going to have to tell you, but your Persona does not, and never will, impress me."

There were three Shadows left amidst the group, and the 3rd Year wasted no time in rushing them, dicing them quickly and efficiently. "Especially when I can do the same without the aid of mine."

Giving an uncharacteristically goofy grin, Haruto turned to his sempai, who looked rather annoyed. "I know, Suou. I just like seeing that look on your face whenever I do it."

Waving his hand in a silent order, Haruto watched the Baron go into an odd rave-like trance, stabbing out with his cane in an undeterminable rhythm. "Besides," he added, "you can't break it down like the Baron. Now, shall we advance?" Picking up the bow that he had deserted just a few minutes before, he walked towards the nearest door, only stopping for a second to get acquainted with the bizarre, ever-shifting scenery. His Persona followed behind him, continuing with its dance.

"Its about time!" came a rather loud, annoyed voice as they entered the room. Takahiro had been leaning against the wall next to the door. "Having fun with the weaklings are we?" with that he let out a laugh and walked over to join the others.

"I've been waiting around all day for you slowpokes!" he then proceded to put a toothpick from his pocket into his mouth and smiled.

Walking past his senior, Haruto stopped just barely beyond the silver-haired teen, so that his Persona was right next him. Raising its cane, the Baron descended it on Takahiro's head with a loud thwok!

"Why couldn't you have helped us out back there, Hayashi? It would've been nice, y'know. Anyways," he continued, looking over the back of his shoulder, "the others haven't gotten here yet. Where were you all this time, and how'd you escape all the Mayas?"

"Ya know I'm the fastest there is!" he answered as he rubbed his head. "If ya needed my help then ya shouln't be here!" he retorted.

"Anyway, where is everyone then? They really are slow!" with that he pocketed his hands and walked over to Haruto. "Did Ayumu come with you?" he asked with an eager grin.
