OoC: Ok, Rping time. FYI, this post is responding to Rinne's most recent post.

IC: Ayumu put away her camera, having collecting her fill of athletes.

"I don't want to go back into that hellhole again! It's cold, dark and has nothing in it! ~nyah If you are going back into that place, leave me out of it cause I have a test tommorrow I haven't studied for."

Ayumu got up and stealthly followed the soccer players. One of them looked behind him, forcing Ayumu to dive into a nearby shrub. Once the player looked away, she continued to follow them until she was stopped by the gym teacher.

"Ayumu-kun, get to class now." commanded the gym teacher. Ayumu slunk back to the group.

"Freaking gym teacher..."

"An overnight stay, hmm?" Yuki questioned rhetorically as he thought about the idea. His own personal overnighter had been none too enjoyable, what with him being stuck with Yoshihiro and the whole thing being unplanned.

 

But... a planned scouting trip that didn't involve him being stuck with the crybaby did have its appeal in providing advantages.

 

As if on cue, said Crybaby took that moment to appear, questioning the small gathering as he arrived. He wasn't so annoying when he wasn't blubbering, but Yuki still decided that Haruto could fill him in on the details. Yuki certainly wasn't going to repeat it.

 

"I'll allow it, Ashizuka." he replie, nodding to the currently-handicapped boy. "As it is your idea, I'll leave the team assemblage up to you. I've got other things to worry about at the moment." he added dismissively.

 

Based on Ayumu's reaction, she clearly wouldn't be among the selected. Saying a quick goodbye, she took the immediate opportunity for exeunt.

She then made a show of sneakily following after the dismissed Soccar team, only to be rebuked by the team's coach as she waddled off with her perverbial tail between her legs. He shook his head at her, turning his attention back to Haruto, just as Sho arrived on the scene.

 

Holding back an exhasperated sigh, he ignored him the same way he ignored Yoshi, continuing to speak only to Haruto. "Now then, while you mull that over, I'll be leaving to attend to my previously mentioned matters. I'll see you and the rest at the Club building later this evening."

 

Needing no further farewells, he turned away and marched off, intent on finding and questioning Ayame.

After about fifteen minutes of recovery on the pavement, the bruised, bleeding girl hauled herself to her feet. She was still too weak to stand, though, so she quickly fell to her knees.

 

"A... Atropos...?" she whimpered, burying her bloodied face in her hands.

 

"Yeah?" she continued, still in barely audible squeaks. "Oh, dear gods... Look what they did to you..."

 

She pulled her hands away, realizing they were covered in blood. She turned back to the wall she'd been pinned to before. It, too, was bloody.

 

"Oh..." she whispered, her eyes watering for the first time now. "Well... it's not so bad... I guess not; you haven't broken anything, after all..."

 

She fell silent, continuing to kneel on that spot for several more minutes before she finally rose. "I guess I'd better head home, huh?" She smiled feebly at her own voice. "You've probably missed dinner already, but you might be able to grab something if the cat's not hungry..."

 

She ambled along the road shakily, not quite trusting her legs to hold her.
