The name sort of came from her mouth, and she instantly liked it.

 

"But for now I want you to do me a small favor; there is a non Shinigami near a shopping area, can you check that person out for me?"

 

"Yes sir!" Dilaverte chirped and slithered off, winking at the Arranacar next to him. She stopped short, though, when he had spoken.

 

"I think the ambush happens today. We need to get back and look as though we encountered Keyonshi's fake rebellion."

 

She blinked when he looked at her, her head tilting slightly.

 

"Would you like to come with us?"

 

"As soon as I get Mas--I-I mean Mateo's favor done, okay?" She said, grinning at him. "Other than that, sure, why not?"

 

She slithered off happily.

Mateo quickly ran after Dilaverte and placed her on his shoulders. "Don't worry about it for now, getting back to the Seireitei is wayyyy more important then that." The arrancar smiled at her attitude towards following his comands, it was as if she wasn't mad at all at the fact that he made her a hollow. //Thoses other two reitsus can wait for another day, they need our support and I still need time to heal up after the attack i let loose on Keyonshi.// Mateo nodded towards Gran and signaled that he was ready to head back.

Character's First and Last Name: Takashi Hugo
Character's Appearance: Being a normal student, Takashi was around 5'7 and was of a pretty average weight. His brown hair seemed to go along a bit to well with his brown eyes and stopped right about his eyebrows. He usually wore a pair of blue jeans and a black t-shirt when he wasn't stuck in a class or didn't have anything important to do.

Jo let out a little shriek as she was picked up and placed on Mateo's shoulders. Blinking, she curled herself around him comfortably, her head resting on his shoulder.

 

"Don't worry about it for now, getting back to the Seireitei is wayyyy more important then that."

 

"Oh, okay," She said, grinning. "Oh! And Dilaverte's my last name; I still want my first."

 

Jo snickered, the end of her tail flicking happily.

Gran began to tear his clothes apart as he walked toward Mateo. "Alright, let's just add to the effect before we head out." he said, firing a couple very minor Balas at Mateo.

 

The blasts smacked into Mateo's skin, burning away clothes and leaving tiny burns, but not really inflicting any pain due to the minor force placed behind it. After a few rounds of this, Mateo looked sufficiently "beat up".

 

"Alright, that should do. Now you do me. Just watch the pressure, since you're a lot stronger."

Mateo quickly shot a few of his own Balas off to give Gran his own "beating." After a few Gran's clothes took the same of effect as Mateo's own, along with small burns and a bit of smoke rising off his torso giving him his own "I was in a fight" look. "Ok lets get out of here you two, we should have a few hours of R&R before the Shinigamis come to fight." Mateo opened a portal to Seiteirei, stepping through with Jo still on his head.

Zaraki hadn't slept much, but he felt perfectly fine. "One hour eh? Not much time until I have to reclaim what I lost; what we lost."

 

Shiro made his way down to the basement, casually quiet. "Father, what will you with Jo?" Zaraki shook his head. "If it comes right down to it, you can take off her head," he said calmly. Shiro nodded, sitting down on the stairs. Kill his Captain? This was quite the predicament. He couldn't measure her strength, and the thought of a clash between himself and his Captain was nerve racking.

 

"Shiro," Zaraki called. "Come here." Zaraki beckoned him with a hand gesture. "Listen close. I don't doubt your capabilities, but I don't want you getting carried away out there. You can't control your strength like I can, so don't do anything stupid. Hear me?" Shiro nodded, punching his father in the chest.

 

"When do we leave, and who will stay behind, to guard Korakura?" Zaraki sighed. "Fifty minutes, and the only persons staying behind are Rai, Matsumoto, and Yachiru. The rest of you are do on the battlefield, without question.

 

Now, I want you to see if you can wake Shina. She should be wide awake for this. Get movin'." Shiro nodded again, and falshed away to the infirmary.

Kiron quietly dragged the two disposed guards into his cells, and locked them there. A glimpse of sunlight hit him like a brick. "Hmph. I suppose the sunlight should reach the Human World in minutes. When the Shinigami invade, I'll grasp power of this entire realm," he thought to himself.

Shiro approached Shina quietly. "Orihime, how is she?" Orihime shrugged and shook her head. Shina seemed fine, but no one could actually tell. "Let me wake her." Shiro grabbed her shoulders and shook her softly. "Shina? Shina wake up. The invasion draws near. Please, wake up."

Sai got up, and went downstairs to find Zaraki.

 

"Forget it." He said on his way down.

 

Upon arrival, he noticed Zaraki and Shiro.

 

"Captain, what's going on?"

Zaraki stopped and turned to Sai. "Nothing my friend. But in a matter of minutes, a lot will be." A peak of orange light poured through Urahara's upstairs windows, which just so happened to be placed in front of the basement, letting the light hit the basement floor.

 

"Soon, not yet, but soon." The moon was still out; there was about 25 minutes of night left, and each minute that passed was more and more intense.

Back at the Seireitei Mateo was relaxing on the top on what used to be the white tower. //At least Jo is safe for now, she might have shinigami experience but she has no idea what it's like to fight as a hollow.// The arrancar closed his eyes and started to meditate, preparing for the battle ahead.

"How the **** did I get here, I should of just stayed in Karakura instead of going into the blue swishy thingy." Takashi looked around the Seireitei, the ruined buildings and deserted landscape was a weird change from his boring school boy life. //Well at least nothing bad has happened so far and thoses blurry things didn't attack me or anything.// The school boy had saw Mateo and company go through the portal to the Seireitei and decided to follow them before the portal closed like a bloody idiot.

Crossing the main gate, a lowly Hollow--Enrique Esquibar, the Crocodile--was taking his daily assignment of patrolling the border, when he bumped into the most unexpected thing. "Hmm? Watch where you're--what?! A-a human! Human in Seireitei! Sound the alarms! Alert the King!" He squeaked and ran off to the North, where he once again, bumped into the unexpected.

 

"Uh, uh, you! You're Mateo! There is a human here!" he screeched.

Mateo sighed as the weakling broke his meditation. "Ok so your afraid of a human because?" The arrancar stood up looked at the Crocodile with a emotionless stare. "Look, I'm trying to prepare for tomorrow, you should be able to take care of a lowsy human. And what little voice in your head told you to leave your post of major importance over a small matter." Mateo quickly returned to his meditation, waiting for the Crocodile to fix his mistake.

"Ok why did a giant crocodile run away from me and what in the world is a Seireitei?" The teenager ran his fingers through his hair, with only ten minutes in this crazy place Takashi already felt that he was going to go insane by the end of the day.

[Dad]

"Huh. You're right. Maybe I'll just eat him." He stomped back over to the human and began prodding him. "Hmm, you're mighty tender." His teeth extended, and his voice grew deeper. "And, I'm HUNGRY." Blood dripped from the Croc's teeth, and he tackled the human to the ground.

//OH **** OH **** OH **** I'M GOING TO BE CROCK FOOD!// Takashi was in a major state of panic, it wasn't everyday that you see a giant crock or swishy blue things let alone being eaten alive! "Ohh..hh.. cooo...me... Bbbb..uddddy you woullll....d... want to eaaa..t me, I don't taste good." The boy was stuttering out of fear like a madman.

Shina's eyes began to flutter open delicately as she muttered: "No...."

 

Suddenly, she sat bolt upright. "Wh-where...?" she took in Shiro, and Orihime, and asked, "What time is it? Where's the Captain?" she asked, looking a tad panicy.

Gran had returned dutifully to the King's chambers after he had gotten back, showing the King his "battle scars" and claiming that the invasion from Keyonshi's rebellion was closer than expected.

 

The king, of course, had panicked, and ordered all Arrancar to take their stations, and had even released his son as a show that he was willing to "trust him again". He just wanted more protection.

 

Gran now stood with Lucas on the East end of the Seireitei, pretending to keep watch. "How much longer, do you think?" he asked his master.

 

Lucas shrugged. "Anytime now. Mileya is already in position with Elena to launch the signal as soon as the Shinigami appear. Remember, Gran," Lucas said, turning to his fraccion and laying a hand o his shoulder. "Don't do anything reckless. You are powerful, but you are still merely a fraccion. I won't be able to stand it if something happens to you or Mileya, so b careful."

 

The espada then turned back to his post. "When the Shinigami invade, the King's outer army is going to attack first. You and I are to head to the east wing of the Castle then and eliminate the guards. Lord Kiron is going to be doing battle with his father, and it's important that he be uninterrupted."

Mileya stood next to Elena, playing a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, while the two waited for the arrival of the Shinigami atop the lookout tower.

 

"You win again!" she announced, astounded. "You're a really good guesser, Elena-san. So, what are the rest of the Espada doing in this mission?" she asked, suddenly changig the subject.

 

"I know my master is attacking the guards with Gran, while Megan-san, Eric, and Morillos are taking out the Noth, West, and South guards. You and I are sounding the signal. So what about the rest?"

[Dad]

"Sorry boy, but you're due to be my meal." The crocodile took his sharp claws and ripped a huge chunk of flesh out of the human, savoring the taste of fresh meat. "Hah! Yes! More!" He devoured the human in minutes, his face filled with blood. "It's been so long since I've had a decent meal.

 

The destroyed human was spirited to Seireitei seemingly instantly. "Didn't I just eat him? Ha!" Enrique lunged over to the gate and snatched it open. "Too bad you weren't stuck in Korakura, boy! Haha! I'll show Mateo I can handle a lowly human!" He dragged the human by his feet, and slung him at Mateo's feet when he approached.

 

"Well then, what say you Mateo? Satisfied?"

"Why would you leave your post to bring a soul to me you foolish little worm." Mateo wasn't in the best of moods, he was expecting the Crock to bring the boy back home to Karakura. The arrancar stood up pointed the Crock back to his post. "GO NOW! Leave the boys soul here and be lucky I didn't decide to get rid of your waste of a life."

Being eating by a weird Crock thing then getting dragged by some chain to a man with a snake that seemed to be eating his head wasn't exactly what Takashi was thinking would happen. "So where am I and why did that weird Crockmabober eat me?"

Jo sighed boredly, looking around the place as she slithered to and fro. Why did her master have to place her in this crummy old building? Why couldn't she be with him?

Jo let out a Hollow shriek and punched the wall, glaring at the hole she made.

"Look I don't have the time to explain right now but I'll bring you somewhere safe for now and the person there can explain to you what your life could become." Mateo quickly grabbed the chain of poor Takashi and Sonido'd back to the squad 2 building where he left Jo. "Jo I need you to fill in Takashi here about what will happen to him now that he is dead, it goes without saying to keep your hunger down." The arrancar's sight was directly swifted to the hole in the wall. "WHY IS THERE A HOLE IN THE WALL! Geh I don't have time for this." A quick Sonido later he was back on top of the tower, going into his meditative state once again.

After being dragged by a chain at a break neck speed, Takashi was on his knees coughing up a lung. "Never......again....."

It was dawn at last, and Zaraki's reiatsu was the last alarm clock you would want. "Time to go." He flashed up stairs where Byakuya was in wait. "It's time Kuchiki. I want the girl awake, and everyone downstairs, as quickly as possible."

 

Shiro was shaking Shina frantically. "Come on get together." Yoruichi wasn't exactly patient either. "Let her be! Shina, the Captain is waiting downstairs. Go and meet him in the basement. We invade in minutes!" Yoruichi tried to usher her downstairs.

 

Zaraki nodded and shoved Shiro down stairs to the blackened portal. "What's say you Kuchiki?" Zaraki nodded, and began climbing downstairs. Shiro was already waiting.

Ros Shunpo'd behind Zaraki, intentionally slowing down enough that Zaraki could reconize his reiastu. In Ros's left hand Ros was holding what appeared to be a hollow hand and in his right a scorched mask. Ros smiled apologeticaly "Sorry for disappearing, I had the munchies so I had to fix myself a snack." Ros gestured to the hollow bits he was eating and offered the mask to Zaraki. "Want a bite? It's tastier than it looks. By the way, what did I miss?"

 

ooc: This may be off topic but Roscuro has a high Kiddo rank but uses low kiddo, to compensate Roscuro can alter his balas and ceros with a jolt of kiddo energy.

 

Also the mask is the best part of a hollow, any memo will tell you that.
