Aizen Souske, a former member of the Gotei 13, has been defeated. Conspiring against them, he plotted to gain control of the great Kings. Now, 100 years later, his followers, the discrete hollows have been constantly gathering in number to take back what Aizen once sought: All of Seretei.

 

Though they fought valiantly, the Gotei 13 was defeated, and many of it's members, even Captains, were brutally murdered by the numerous hollow. Now, a group of remaining shinigami have gathered together to make one last stand against these vile creatures, and they have formed their resolve. They will defeat the hollow and their precious Demon King, or die trying.

 

As it stands, three Captains remain: Zaraki Kenpachi, Byakuya Kuchiki, and Kurosaki Ichigo, who was promoted upon the death of his father. Together, they have gathered the remaining surviving Shinigami, and will use them to break in, and retrieve what is rightfully theirs: Seretei.

 

Our heroes were last seen on scouting missions, hoping to find other survivors of the massive onslaught. . .

The sun arose sparkling across Karakura. This once semi-peaceful town was now swarming with Hollow left and right. It's a good thing the world's few remaining Shinigami (or Death Gods) were stationed throughout the area. A long, fiendish shadow cast itself over the horizon, belonging to one man, or Shinigami in this case.

 

He sighed heavily, disappointed in himself. "Can't believe we didn't see this coming. And now, our only safe passage has been locked down." A small girl, appearing to be at least half of his own age, poked her head above his shoulder. "It's okay Ken-chan. We're gonna bust in, and get back Seireitei. If you hadn't been there in time-" Zaraki shused her.

 

"Speak nothing of it little lady. I'll always look out for ya." He muffled her flamboyant, pink her, and turned his back to the sun. "Not a day goes by when I don't regret letting Seireitei fall. No matter. I'll just have to rip open every one of those damned Hollow that stand in my way." A devilish grin crossed his face as he reminisced on his past battles, and how he grew to be who he was today.

 

Yachiru tugged his leggings harshly. "Ken-chan, what's for eats?" Yachiru's stomach growled ferociously as she spoke. He managed a laugh. "We'll be stopping by Urahara's place. We can eat there."

 

Yachiru hopped back onto his shoulder as they departed.

Rangiku was lying on a rooftop cathing a short nap. She was not in her Gegai at the moment because she felt as though nobody would notice her from where she was currently. She stared at the clouds as they passed by. As she stared up at the sky, thoughts of Toshiro Hitsugaya came and went. Her captain was deceased and the Seretei overrun with Hollow. She knew that she would not be of much use at her current strength. She had not yet attained the power of Bankai and her overall lazy demeanor made it difficult for her and her zanpakuto to reach such a level.

 

Taking a deep breath, Rangiku closed her eyes placed her hands over her chest as she fell asleep upon the rooftop.

Character's Image: A medium-height woman who wears a white-green scarf, like her idol (Captain Kuchiki). She has Upper-Back length Black Hair, with bangs that reach her chin (obviously swept to the side of her face). Her facial structure is similar to the Soft features of Orihime mixed with the Serene Features of Byakuya. Her eyes are a bright Peridot, and she is capable of a very stern gaze when necessary. She has modified her Shihakusho so that she wears a sort of V-Top, similar to what Hisagi Shuuhei wears. She wears her sword at her right side. She also wears black wristbands, a Moon-shaped earring on her left ear, and chain with a Snowflake on it around her neck (the snowflake being a symbol for Rukia, another Shinigami she admires).

She is currently the Vice-Captain of the 6th Division, as her successor, Renji, is deceased.

 

Character's Zanpaktou Name: Kagetsuki (Moonshadow). In its sealed state, it resembles a Katana with a Black-Weave handle and a diamond shaped guard, with the angles of the guard stylized into a three-pronged, ornamental look.

 

Character's Statistics: She is extrmely adept with Kidou, and would have been able to qualify for the Kidou Corps, if they still existed. She can cast Binding Spells up to 99, and Destructive Spells up to 90. She is even capable of abandoning the incantations in the process, but, most unfortunately, doing so is extremely draining. Sadly, her Swordsmanship is also lacking, only being on par with a 4th seat, at best.

Jo was running across Karakura's rooftops to a location to help a Captain, but was abruptly stops upon seeing the Vice-Captain of Squad 10. Jo stared, then without really thinking, she leapt over to Rangiku's rooftop.

 

"Ah...crap, what am I doing here...? I've gotta go to Captain Kurosaki...," Jo muttered, but she couldn't take her eyes off the exotic, curvy body inches away from her fingertips. She facepalms, blushing furiously, backing away slightly; but it was already too late...she was opening her eyes.

 

'Okay, all ya have to do,' Jo thought to herself. 'Is ask her for some help...say ya got lost and you need her help.'

 

Jo braced herself for the worst, staring quite blankly at the Vice-Captain.

Rangiku slowly opens her eyes and notices Jo standing over her. Letting out a yelp of surprise, Rangiku sat up quickly and almost headbutted Jo. She quickly closes her kimono before anything became exposed. "What is wrong with you?" Rangiku yelled sternly at Jo as she fixed her kimono, "You scared me so bad that they almost popped out!" Her face was beet red as she turned away from Jo. The tone of her voice was quite stern. "You're lucky I didn't have my hand on my zanpakuto, you know," Rangiku said as she slowly turned back to face Jo while still holding her kimono closed.

Jo also let out a yelp of surprise, and jumped back, missing the edge; luckily her fingers grabbed ahold of the edge. She pulled herself up, breathing hard.

 

"What is wrong with you? You scared me so bad that they almost popped out!"

 

Jo stared at her as she adjusted herself, grinning.

 

"Sorry." She said, trying her best not to giggle.

 

"You're lucky I didn't have my hand on my zanpakuto, you know."

 

Jo stopped giggling to pause and stare at her again, then up at the sky.

 

"Naaah, you wouldn't," Jo said, standing up with a wink at her. "Say, are ya busy, Vice-Captain?

 

"...Aaah, I'm not asking you on a date or anything! I just wanted to know if you could help me. I...sorta lost where Captain Kurosaki's location is."

Jo giggled nervously, rubbing the back of her neck sheepishly.

 

"Please?"

As they approached under the cloak of night, Zaraki and Yachiru were greeted by a friendly face. Urahara poked his head curiously out of the window, smiling broadly.

 

"Ah, Zaraki-san. Come in," he said quietly. Zaraki ducked his head under the rafters to avoid losing his bells. Yachiru of course, slipped right in. She bounced over to Urahara, and stepped on his toes, propelling herself to his chest. "Hi pops!" she said with a crazy smile.

 

Urahara could only be confused. "Now, now, Kaseji-chan. I'm not that old." He led them into the kitchen.

 

Zaraki sat down quietly at the nearest table as Urahara raided his own refridgerator. "So. What would you like Zaraki-san?" Zaraki perked up, hearing his stomach growl.

 

"Some of everything ya got." Zaraki smacked his lips, and rubbed his hands together hungrily. Urahara gave a chuckle an began grabbing everything in sight. "You must be pretty hungry then, eh Zaraki? You haven't eaten like this in ages. Oh." Urahara remembered why at that moment.

 

Zaraki almost immediately felt that heavy impulse upon himself, and backed away from the table. "Never mind Urahara-sempai. I ain't hungry any more." He drove himself outside, to get some fresh air.

 

Yachiru pondered why Zaraki could still be so sad after what seemed like a great period of time. She burst outside to comfort him. "Ken-chan, why are ya still sad?" she said softly. She hopped on his shoulders and stared at the moon.

 

Zaraki gave a heavy sigh. "I miss her little lady, and you know that. Those damned hollow took her from me, and I'm gonna seek revenge." Zaraki clutched his zanpaktou tightly, and headed back inside.

Rai lay quietly on the floor of Urahara'a improvised infirmary. After being injured in a skirmish with a stray hollow, he had rushed himself to the nearest safehouse he knew of.

Tessai came in and handed Rai a cup of extremely aromatic tea.

 

"Thank you." He rolled over onto his un-injured side as Tessai left without a word.

 

After some time Rai heard Urahara attending to some guests in the other room. "Ah, Zaraki-san. Come in."

Rai's head shot up from his improvised pillow. Zaraki-san was here? Rai had only seen Zaraki a few times before. But like all the remaining shinigami, Zaraki was like a God to Rai. This excitement quickly turned to fatigue, and he drifted off to sleep.

[Dad]

Urahara patted Zaraki on the shoulder. "I'm sure you'll manage to convert all of that hatred you have into a well developed shikai one day. For now, you should get some rest. We have a big day tomorrow Zaraki-san."

 

Urahara guided Zaraki and Yachiru to their own separate rooms in the infirmary. "Try not too make too much noise Zaraki-san, Yachiru-san. Rai is asleep in the next room." Zaraki shook Urahara's hand, and bid him good evening. "I'll try not to let my nightmares wake the boy."

 

"Besides," he said laying his zanpaktou to the floor. "He's a good fighter, and he's gonna need his beauty sleep. Heh." Yachiru chuckled, and they drifted off to sleep, shortly, but surely.

 

Meanwhile, as Zaraki, Yachiru, and Rai slept peacefully. . . . .

 

Urahara gave a heavy sigh to himself, as he said goodnight to Tessai. "Thanks for your help this evening old friend," he said tiredly. Tessai took his hand shake and turned it into a hug, bidding Urahara good evening.

 

He dragged himself into his basement, locking himself inside. "I'd best get this done while I have no witnesses."

Rangiku turned to look at Jo with a look on her face. She thought how unusual it was that Jo could not sense Ichigo's spiritual pressure. "Guess I might as well. I have nothing else to do," she said as she picked up her zanpakuto. Suddenly, she felt a strange spiritual pressure off in the distance. "Do you feel that?" Rangiku said as she turned to Jo.

Jo's grin faded after the look Rangiku gave her.

 

"Guess I might as well. I have nothing else to do."

 

"Yay!" Jo said, grinning again.

 

"Do you feel that?"

 

Jo paused, staying perfectly still. She closed her eyes.

 

"Oh, hey! There's Ichigo!" She said, pointing in his direction. Her brows furrowed, her head turning side to side. "I sorta feel the other one...can't see it though."

 

Jo sighed, opening her eyes. She grinned a little, remembering the the figure of Ichigo in blue flames.

[Haitaku]

Sai woke up, after having slept for a day.

 

"Ugh, still not recharged? Dammit."

 

He started to walk along, looking for somewhere to eat.

 

"Might as well get some ramen. I might feel better after that."

 

Suddenly, he stops.

 

"I've got a good idea, I'll practice. I feel a bit out of shape..."

 

He draws his blade, Kumori-ken, and slices at the tree he slept near. It falls to pieces, and Sai has a look of disappointment on his face.

 

"Hmm... I need something stronger to practice on... But first, I'm getting some food."

Rangiku looked around from side to side, trying to pinpoint the location of the other spiritual pressure. "That's unusual," she began, "it just suddenly disappeared." She placed her hand upon her zanpakuto, expecting something unusual to happen. "We should get to Ichigo. Not much we can do about the other spiritual pressure right now," Rangiku said to Jo before leaping off the rooftop to the street below.

[Signosis]

"That's unusual, it just suddenly disappeared."

 

Jo shrugged, letting out a sigh.

 

"Nothing we can exactly do about it." Jo murmured, looking back over in Ichigo's location.

 

"We should get to Ichigo."

 

"Mmkay," Jo muttered, leaping rooftops again, watching Rangiku on the ground. "Oi, doesn't that lady know that there's more obstacles down there...?"

 

Jo nearly missed a wire that had clothes hung upon it, nearly clotheslining herself.

Bio:he looks like he is 29 but he is 645 spent mot of his life in the Hueco Mundo training his power to use all of the known Kidou spells, by studding the people that use them threw a Garganta gate. his sword combat skill is extremely poor. he almost never plus out his Zanpakuto to fight. but he can use a Kidou 10 or lower spell as many times as a persons can swing there sword before he gets tired. to save his life he had to leave his home from Aizen followers. He always stays with his word.

Zaraki turned over slightly in his sleep, as a minor reiatsu caught him. Suddenly, he awoke with a jolt. "That reiatsu. It feels so familiar. But, it's not possible. . . she's dead."

 

He turned to his opposite side and snatched up his Zanpaktou. "Somebody's playing games with me," he said aloud, angrily. "These aren't the types of games to play!"

 

He burst through the nearest wall and crashed outside. "Yachiru, get up!" he called. "Time to move!" Zaraki's voice was as harsh as ever. Yachiru bolted outside, already prepared. "Yes sir, Ken-chan!"

 

They ran through the alleyways, and jumped atop a building. "You fell that little lady?" Zaraki asked softly. Yachiru nodded to comply. "But, how is that-"

 

A soft landing behind him made him question his drowsiness. After all, he had just woken up. "Possible?" the female assailant said, finishing his sentence. "You tell me."

 

Zaraki wasted no time. "I don't know who you are, but you picked the wrong night to play head games with me." He drew his Zanpaktou, and pointed it at the assailant's masked face. "Come on," he said signaling for Yachiru to stand back. "I'll kill ya nice and slow."

 

Yachiru immediately formed a barrier around herself and what remained of Urahara's shop. "Ken-chan looks mad." she said worriedly.

 

As though an earthquake was terrorizing Korakura, Zaraki released some of his heavy reiatsu, only controlling it as not to destroy Karakura. This wave spread itself many, many miles.

*Yawn*"Ahhhhh..." Sleepily, Rai propped himself on his elbows and reluctantly opened his eyes to see what was causing such an unexpected disturbance in his sleep. As his vision cleared, he was suprised to find a large hole in the wall directly in front of him, through which a cool breeze was blowing.

 

"Oh?" Rai rose to his feet, and just as he began to walk towards the wall he was overcome by a massive reiatsu nearby. "It..It must be Zaraki-san!" Rai darted to the opening in the wall and peered outside into the dim street.

 

A presence on a buliding about 30 yards away first caught his glance. Something was about to go down, and he could just make out 3 figures on the rooftop when....

 

"Gwaaa! what is this!" Rai was suddenly lifted into the air by Tessai's massive arms. "Put me down!!" Tessai uttered a grunt of diaproval in return, and insisted that Rai remain stationary so as not to re-open his wounds.
