[spoiler=Major Spoilers]

Axel's Death (KH2)

The Scene where Ansem is attempting to convert kingdom hearts into data and it explodes and changes riku back to normal. It's a very long scene, but very good. (KH2)

The final cutscene of the tutorial (KH2)

Pretty much every scene where Sin blows everything to hell (FFX)

Aerith's Death (FFVII)

After the fight with demyx, when sora obliterates a ton of heartless with cloud, leon, yuffie, and tifa. (KH2)

There's probably a ton I missed, but those are what comes to mind.

[OBVIOUS SPOILERS]

The ending of Crisis Core was powerful. Even if you knew what was going to happen at the end. Kind of like watching Titanic.

I remember a lot of emotional scenes in Final Fantasy X. When I was 12, that was the first "lolgrown-up/lolbig kid" RPG I had played. The more powerful scenes I remember watching for the first time was the aftermath of that operation near the middle of the game, the scene in the Al-Bhed Home when Tidus finds out that Yuna will die, the scene with Tidus and Yuna in the lake, and the ending.

Final Fantasy VII had it's share of emotional scenes as well. The only two that really stick out to me are Aeris' death, and the scene where Cloud realizes he's been living Zack's life for the past few years. (Or something like that. I haven't played FFVII in a while). That one isn't really sad. It's more like, lolwut x 9001. Huge mindf***.

The last game I played where I almost cried was Tales of the Abyss. At the end of the game, a character called Asch dies. It should be noted that just before he died, he just saw his parents for the first time in about 7 years. Technically, his life was also unintentially "stolen" by the main character. The way he died also would kind of suck. I imagine getting impaled by 3 swords wouldn't be very fun.

Well, the only game that made me shed tears out of sadness was Mother 3.

[spoiler=WARNING! SPOILERS!]After confronting Porky and defeating him, Lucas and party goes on to face the Masked Man, who is his brother Claus, who was killed in Chapter 1 before being brought back to life and brainwashed by Porky and the Pigmask Army. Claus uses an electric attack to knock out everyone but Lucas and Flint (their father). Throughout most of the fight, Lucas will be unable to attack his brother because he does not want to hurt him. As you fight him, the voice of Lucas and Claus's mother Hinawa (who was also killed in Chapter 1) echoes throughout the battle, pleading for them to stop fighting. Eventually, as Claus prepares a powerful attack (PK Love Ω), Flint jumps in the way and takes the hit, wounding him. As you fight, you eventually see a flashback of Lucas and Claus when they were first born, with Hinawa and Flint talking about how they'll grow up to make them proud. After the flashback, Claus slowly breaks free of Porky's brainwash and takes off his helmet. In order to fully break free of Porky's grip, he fires an intense bolt of lightning at Lucas's Franklin Badge, causing it to shoot back right at him and fatally wounding him. Claus staggers over to Lucas and apologizes to him, saying that he has to join their mother. He thanks Lucas and tells him that he's sure they'll meet again before giving his final breath. Flint tells him about how Claus was simply hasty and hopes that Lucas will forgive him. The game ends with Lucas pulling the seventh and final Needle, releasing the Dark Dragon from its slumber and summoning a storm of meteors (Don't worry. Everyone in Nowhere Island/New Pork City survives) to recreate the world and bring it an era of peace.

[spoiler=Obvious Spoilers for KH2]Axel's death was sad.

I was also sad about Demyx's death. On my first playthrough, he frustrated me, but then when I beat him, I was like "NO! I wanted to BEAT him, not KILL him! T______T"

The scene with Axel and Roxas after Sora defeats Roxas in KH2FM is also very emotional. Made me tear up.

The ending of KH2, where Sora finally returns home. It was heart-warming.

[spoiler=Spoilers for FFX]

When Gatta just falls over in a slump. I was shocked the first time I ever saw it.

When Sin destroys Kilika. That was just...awful. All those people.

When Sin reduces the Crusaders, literally, to dust. Again, awful.

The laughing scene with Tidus and Yuna. Very touching, wonderful music.

Any of the touching scenes between Tidus and Yuna, especially the lake scene. Most romantic thing I ever seen.

The truth, when Tidus finds out from Rikku.

The scene with Auron, Jecht, and Braska, before Yunalesca.

The Ending. OMG.

Then the ending of FFX-2. I teared up from joy.

And then FFVIICC. It is quite possibly the saddest ending I've ever seen, despite how I saw it coming.

Axles death was one of the only cutscenes that had made me tear up.

The one cutscene that made my cry would be in Gears of War 2.

[spoiler=Spoilers]

After fighting through a horde of Locusts Dom finally finds his wife Maria. Me and my friend were playing co-op during the time and I was like "Awesome, he found her!" Once she got out of the containment pod and they hugged I was really happy. But when Marcus tells Dom to look at her clearly and he sees she was tortured and starved made me kinda tear up. Then Dom turns to Marcus and goes "What do I do?" And he just replies. "It's ok." And walks away. Dom pulled out a pistol and aimed it at Marias head. During that time I was like "Wtf..." Then as you see Marcus walking away you hear a gunshot, and I started crying. I felt like chainsawing every single last Locust left in the game.

I remembered that too! When i started the game over i totally went berserk on the locust.

I liked the credits of Pokémon Emerald, the music was able to make you cry, then that masked guy comes and says "Come to my island." Which apparently was the place of the Battle Dome and all and i was like "YAY! FAWX YEAH!"

Spoiler

Never had tears from an game but I really hated it when Roxas was turned into Sora.

Roxes owns Sora hard!!

And the first time played I really was mad on the army of Heartless for "killing" Goofy (but now my favourite part). And i'm also pissed of about Sephiroth having uber power!!!

In Half Life 2, When your leaving Ravenholm by jumping over a fence, you can watch Father Grigory shoot zombies as he laughs hysterically while they surround him. I wanted to help him so much cause of how much he helps you in Ravenholm. But the most I could do was lob grenades over to help him.

When a game can get you connected to its characters that much, its definetly worthy of a nomination for an award.

The scene in final fantasy nine when the red headed friend of Zidane gets turned to stone.

Alot of the scenes with Vivi poor guy.

The end of Resistance 2 somewhat saddened me.

Also, the death of Benjamin Walker (also in Resistance 2). I suppose it was the traditional give a guy a tad of back story then kill him off in some brutal way to trigger an emotional response. Yet it affected me a surprising amount.

The start of Jak 2 left me shocked and in the mood for destruction. Jak's 'first words' and the sudden genre shift really did trigger a response...

Mother 3 made me cry tears of Teenage Sadness (that's normal sadness, but with anti-depressants).
