Wuu.
Maybe describing how your monster looks? That can get a little tedious' date=' trust me.[/quote'] That so? How? Link to comment
玄魔の王
That can get a little tedious' date=' trust me.[/quote'] That so? How? With the detail of these cards, almost every little thing would need descriptions. That takes way too long. Especially cards featuring existing cards. Besides, with people already posting many cards at once... Link to comment
-Griffin
That, and it kinda defeats the point of focusing on the context of how the card plays instead of the looks. Link to comment
Valkyrie Lupia Blitzer
Not to mention that description =/= image. Pepople will prefer the image much more. Lulz, nonserious suggestion: Entice everyone to click a link to this section. Maybe like rickrolling...coruse that won't work, but it's lulzy. Link to comment
玄魔の王
May be worth trying, but I'm iffy on that. Link to comment
Felix
*shrugs shoulders* Have people try to suggest images, as well as the r/f thing. Link to comment
玄魔の王
That might work out well, but again iffy. Link to comment
etzerzame
It wouldn't hurt for this to get more people into it. Link to comment
-Griffin
Suggesting images could be nice, although, etze, the whole problem is that we can't force people into the section, so we just have to make it more attractive for them to visit. Link to comment
玄魔の王
Exactly. The question is, how do we make it attractive without losing the plot or being pushy? Link to comment
-Griffin
It's a tough question, post cards in YVD format and offer to test people's new sets in a duel? Link to comment
玄魔の王
Now see, that might carry some weight to it. Link to comment
-Griffin
Like I think I've mentioned before, most my sets were made in YVD to begin with and I have a program which could turn written cards into YVD cards pretty quickly. Anyone that had some cards and actually wanted to duel with them, could. Link to comment
-Griffin
Do you have YVD? I could transfer a set to the format if you don't want to, since I've done it a lot. Link to comment
玄魔の王
Remind me what YVD is and I can answer that question. Link to comment
-Griffin
Yugioh Virtual Desktop, if the answer is no, Google it and download it. Link to comment
玄魔の王
Thank you very much. I can do that over the next couple of days. Link to comment
-Griffin
How's getting YVD going? Link to comment
玄魔の王
Not too well, but this is not the place to discuss that. Sorry. PM me if you wanna talk about it. Link to comment
-Griffin
Ah, right, back to topic we go.Trying to get YVD duels for some people is possible as an attraction to the section but does anyone have some other ideas while we try and get that working? Link to comment
Balaxe
I'm just going to add this to my sig... The Written Cards section on this Forum receives about 5% of posts that Realistics Cards does, because of this all the brillant ideas over there are going to waste. So support Written Cards, go over there and just read a few threads and wright some comments while your there. If you want to help the Written Card section place this in your sig. Place it in your if you want to help. Link to comment
