Although exchange rates may screw me up, but I'm pretty sure that 100 yen is about 1 USD. So if Holo got 12 books for 800 yen, that means 12 volumes for around 8 USD. Good value! They sell music' date=' games and films too but, it is the books that has the really good prices. Because of Book Off I bought about 200 volumes of manga in 10 months. ^ω^ You're sure? Probably because if you say shounen, I think of Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, Bleach et cetera. Classical shounen as them are too long, are too unrealistic and too clichéd for my liking. However, there are exceptions (of course). Fullmetal Alchemist is probably my favourite "true" shounen. I usually do not like the artwork in shoujo. For example, Sugar Sugar Rune I think is terrible. DL Posted November 3, 2009 Report Share Posted November 3, 2009 Ah, your right...I like yuu watase's drawings, like ceres and fuushigi yugi. They're good. DN ANgel does have great artwork too. Shojo has bigger eyes than shonen and I mlike big eyes. Hayate and negima actually have quite big eyes, and yet are shonen... I must look into this mystery...
