I read the first chapter.

@Black - ...huh?

Well, while Death Note is amazing, there ARE better manga. Among them, I'd consider 20th Century Boys (which I consider perfect) and a select few others. (try reading Bakuman) (made by the same people, but on a completely different basis than Death note( tho they dlo make DN references here and there)))

I got that manga mixed up with the one about Mangaka. I was thinking Bakuman, I think.

Death Note was great. Heck, it primed my mind more than a little. Woke it up. Sort of like how The Silence of the Lambs did.

The Mack 4... It was... Awesome!!

My kind of event. It was full of cosplayers. I'm tempted to do cosplay next year. My group of Illustrators had a stand. There was a stand for furries, another for deviantart, one for Michael Jackson fans (weird, isn't it?), one for each comic store of the city, another for Magic the Gathering, a couple for toy stores, shirt stores, one about series of the 80's and 90's and other dedicated totally to Robotech, and a lot of other stuff...

The event was held in a former textile factory/former TV studio... It took 3 buildings without counting the food stores (that included japanese food, like okonomiyaki, that I was unable to try because the line was pretty long) and the stage and the chairs in front of it...

In the stage were presented: The presentation of a Kendo school, the cosplay contest, and finally a concert of japanese drums. The next day the singer of Robotech was there too, but I wasn't there...

I took a lot of pics and managed to appear in none. I bought a sketchbook from the stand of an art studio and bought a white Mokona plush for my friend.

There were also a lot of great cosplays that didn't participate in the contest, like a group cosplay of Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy and some toadette; or Vash the Stampede (Trigun), Zero (Code Geass), Sasuke (Shipuuden) and Haruhi...

I took the pics with the camera of my friend. When she sends me the pics I'll upload them and share them here...

Can't wait till next year...

@Black - Hmm....yes.

It is a LOT like Death Note, yet completely unlike it at the same time.

It would be like the Kira was the antagonist, not the protagonist. (the main antagonist is Friend)

You'd love it if you loved Death Note, I'm quite sure of it.

@Saikano - Sounds fun.

Especially the MJ fans.

Enlighten me on this Mack 4 of which you speak...

Also, I now have my computer in my room (for now) which means I will be able to get more time to sustain the club (and watch more anime). Go me.

Tell me, are you guys big on video/computer games? An otaku should be well rounded, right?

If you haven't noticed already, I'm in a different state of mind right now...Too much SYD. I keep seeing sexual puns everywhere...
