Marisa Kirisame-ze
It's fine xD It's just every single time I post something that relates to myself, people question if it's me. And thanks~
Black★Star
Im not sure if this is off topic or on topic: when you cosplay, is it cheaper to make the costume or to buy it?
Marisa Kirisame-ze
Depends entirely on your deal for a made costume or how detailed you want to go into if you make it. For example; take Lelouch which I'm working on right now. I can get the Ashford Academy Uniform for $104, beautifully made from CosMonde. I could also buy it for $160 from CosplayMagic, but the quality isn't as nice, nor does it look too good. Other places price the outfit around $140-$160 anyways, so CosMonde is my best bet for something that's better than the price I pay. However, if I spent the time working on the outfit, rolls of fabric costs quite a lot. And then that fatal gold lining you'd have to take so much time to sow. Then buttons, then making the belt. You'll come across $100 anyways and so much time spent. However, there are many other cases in where you'll literally have to make your costume if you want it to turn out good. Like what I'm slowly doing for a Hinata cosplay. It'll come out cheaper, and you can customize it to your own liking. But all in all, I think making a cosplay is what makes you proud of the costume itself no matter the price.
Black★Star
K, cuz i saw a akatsuki costume(With out funky hat) for 50$ at a store. But it seemed pretty esay to make... Thanks anyway... im not cut out for cosplay.
DL
@Marisa-sama - I love your voice, it's so cute x3 Wait, I DID hear your voice before, in that L goes to heaven video, it was cute then too. I wonder why everyone wonders if it's you in the videos/photos YOU show us xD
Shradow
I liked your voice. Maybe they think she's an identity thief?
DL
xD See, Marisa-sama, we all like your voice, why do you not? x3
Marisa Kirisame-ze
Shradow; I'm probably one of the most down-to-myself people on the internet xD Literally, I can't lie about my identity. And thanks as well~ Darklink; I don't like it because I hear too much of it xD ...well, that's not really the reason, but it's just a voice that changes all the time ;___; I've developed a small accent, resembles Australian, and it's really weird. Also, I can make my voice high pitched like those annoying anime characters xD Everyone makes me say things in Japanese that they're favorite character would say. Blake
Shradow; I'm probably one of the most down-to-myself people on the internet xD Literally' date=' I can't lie about my identity. And thanks as well~[/quote'] Same here, just a bit more outgoing. The thing is, NO ONE likes their voice, no matter how good it sounds. You only like. the version YOU hear, not the version everyone else hears.
Great Unclean One: VK
Shradow; I'm probably one of the most down-to-myself people on the internet xD Literally' date=' I can't lie about my identity. You only like. the version YOU hear, not the version everyone else hears. I agree with this. On the interwebs, i can lie bout my identity, but then how I can see if you guys think of me as a friend if I don't tell you what I exactly am or is like. Plus, whenever I hear my voice, it's way deeper what I imagine.
Marisa Kirisame-ze
Well, think of it like this - lying about your identity is the basis of people who really don't like themselves. It's either that, or they think it's "cool" or "fun". But facing it to reality, no matter who you are or who you meet, you're not really you unless you give the correct information. There was this girl who constantly lied about herself, and it was obvious as well; so in the end, when she was inviting me to a party, I asked "Who's the one giving the invite? The person you're faking, or the you I've never met?" She stopped lying after a while. And well, I like my voice in the midst of compliments xD But when I'm by myself, recording something or doing whatever, I have a tendency to dislike it. Blake
Odd thing is, I hide more publically than here. I hide YCM, and anime liking, and such, eh? But I don't lie about it. As I said, EVERYONE hates their voice.
DL
I like my voice :D Most of the time, yes. Simply because I am SO epic at faking my voice. (for stuff like imitating characters and such)} I can go from Sasuke-deep to Len-high
Great Unclean One: VK
All I can do with my voice is...... well nothing, but then again, my vocabulary is quite immense so I guess in return for a crappy voice, i easily learn new words I guess. DL
I can do that too xP I have a big vocabulary. Oh, I also consider myself an okay singer. And I can sound like hatsune Miku :D
Blake
... I officially think that castrating DL is fruitless...

Besides, voice acting is what I want to do with my life anyways. I'm good at imitating Higurashi characters mostly. Like, the characters who freak others out because of the atmosphere of their voice, etc. Then, I can do cute too, which is an inspired style from Kugimiya-san. But singing? ...no. DL
xD @Marisa-sama - Becoming a voice actor would be AWESOME. Although I don't know if I'd do well D:
Marisa Kirisame-ze
Yeahh, it would be awesome and a load of fun. Acting with the voice is good anyways, since I feel the power of a voice is higher than an action when it comes to my movements. But anyways, favorite seiyuu anybody? =D Mine is rather obvious. Great Unclean One: VK
I hardly know the voice actor for any anime. I'm that oblivious. Though i gotta say Katsuyuki Konishi.
DL
Japanese, it's the same as Marisa-sama's. English, it's Christopher Sabat.
