Depends entirely on your deal for a made costume or how detailed you want to go into if you make it.

For example; take Lelouch which I'm working on right now. I can get the Ashford Academy Uniform for $104, beautifully made from CosMonde. I could also buy it for $160 from CosplayMagic, but the quality isn't as nice, nor does it look too good. Other places price the outfit around $140-$160 anyways, so CosMonde is my best bet for something that's better than the price I pay. However, if I spent the time working on the outfit, rolls of fabric costs quite a lot. And then that fatal gold lining you'd have to take so much time to sow. Then buttons, then making the belt. You'll come across $100 anyways and so much time spent.

However, there are many other cases in where you'll literally have to make your costume if you want it to turn out good. Like what I'm slowly doing for a Hinata cosplay. It'll come out cheaper, and you can customize it to your own liking.

But all in all, I think making a cosplay is what makes you proud of the costume itself no matter the price.

@Marisa-sama - I love your voice, it's so cute x3

Wait, I DID hear your voice before, in that L goes to heaven video, it was cute then too.

I wonder why everyone wonders if it's you in the videos/photos YOU show us xD

Shradow; I'm probably one of the most down-to-myself people on the internet xD Literally, I can't lie about my identity. And thanks as well~

Darklink; I don't like it because I hear too much of it xD ...well, that's not really the reason, but it's just a voice that changes all the time ;___; I've developed a small accent, resembles Australian, and it's really weird. Also, I can make my voice high pitched like those annoying anime characters xD Everyone makes me say things in Japanese that they're favorite character would say.

Same here, just a bit more outgoing.

The thing is, NO ONE likes their voice, no matter how good it sounds. You only like. the version YOU hear, not the version everyone else hears.

I agree with this.

On the interwebs, i can lie bout my identity, but then how I can see if you guys think of me as a friend if I don't tell you what I exactly am or is like.

Plus, whenever I hear my voice, it's way deeper what I imagine.

Well, think of it like this - lying about your identity is the basis of people who really don't like themselves. It's either that, or they think it's "cool" or "fun". But facing it to reality, no matter who you are or who you meet, you're not really you unless you give the correct information. There was this girl who constantly lied about herself, and it was obvious as well; so in the end, when she was inviting me to a party, I asked "Who's the one giving the invite? The person you're faking, or the you I've never met?" She stopped lying after a while.

And well, I like my voice in the midst of compliments xD But when I'm by myself, recording something or doing whatever, I have a tendency to dislike it.

I like my voice :D

Most of the time' date=' yes.

Simply because I am SO epic at faking my voice. (for stuff like imitating characters and such)}

I can go from Sasuke-deep to Len-high

Same. I consider myself as an on-the-line seiyuu. Besides, voice acting is what I want to do with my life anyways.

I'm good at imitating Higurashi characters mostly. Like, the characters who freak others out because of the atmosphere of their voice, etc. Then, I can do cute too, which is an inspired style from Kugimiya-san.

But singing? ...no.
