-Berserker-
I will only cosplay for the first time if my friend cosplays with me as two related characters (like, I don't know, Lelouch and C.C., or Ryuji and Taiga).I don't feel like crossing the continent half the semester.I need a good idea for a costume. DL
1. My mom doesn't like to use ebay, but lack of money would also get in the way.2. That's the easy part of the 3 problems.3. True... but shyness mixed with lazyness = yeah, not moving out of this couch... Seriously, though, I'm usually afraid to try new things, which makes me miss stuff. Like, I have the opportunity to go to Spain a few years from now, and I might not want to go, Even though a lot of people want to go to Europe. Marisa Kirisame-ze
@Darklink; Let's see... have you ever been to an anime convention? Cause going to one normally dressed could help you feel more comfertable. That's what happened to me. After going to AX 2009, I fell in love with cosplay~ For the other problems, I can't really help. @Kira Kills; Trust me, you'll make a better Light than most people could ever. And that's saying so without knowing what you look like xD That's how confident I am in you! @Saikano; Thanks for the idea~ Time to cosplay Taiga. DL
Nope, never been to one. Never heard of one near me, either. I'm pathetic... on a lighter note, Toradora's theme song changed O_O
Marisa Kirisame-ze
I prefer the new OP~ "My Silky Love" is sung by the seiyuu of Minorin, while the first OP, "Pre-Parade" was song by RIE KUGIMIYA<333 It's kind of cool, cause the ending songs are duets between the two. DL
I liked the first one a lot. NOW I know why it sounded so familiar O.O The 2nd OP is okay, but I haven't got too into it yet.

Marisa Kirisame-ze
@Darklink; You'll grow into it. And maybe you'll prefer it more ;D Minorin's seiyuu, Yui Horie, is a fabulous singer too. @Kira Kills; Yesh, go ahead~ I'll still be confident xD
DL
I think I will. Sometimes it takes me a few listens to get into a song. Well, I guess we'll see from Marisa-sama's reaction whether she's still confident or not.

Anyhow, I've got a hoodie, but it's grey, but so far, no luck on any thing else. I've got grenades, pistol, and a shotgun, but nothing else for this. DL
Just don't accidentaly unpin the grenades thinking they're an on-the-go juice box, and you'll be fine.

DL
Then remember to place the grenades NOT on your left buttcheek. Oh, and if you do unpin them, find the nearest Naruto cosplayer and stick it on his-her shirt.

We saw a group of other teens in naruto cosplay and talking about how great naruto was. We had airsoft guns. All of us went into the woods nearby and sniped. We had so much fun. Marisa Kirisame-ze
Well' date=' since yins is talking about cosplay, could you guys give me a few pointers about trying to cosplay as this?[spoiler= What I need to cosplay at in my next airsoft battle'] 'Tis not cosplay since 'tis not anime/manga, but anyways, I can help you pretty decently; A few pointers;-Try lightweight clothing. You don't want everything to be too thick or else you'll overheight in the costume, especially if you're going to do airsoft.-Do not say you're a terrorist in those clothes xD-You might have to order a lot of that costume online and/or make it yourself.-You'll need skill of papermache (sp?) and/or being able to use wood/plastic for the hard armor/guards. So let's get started; Simply, you'll need a base, which I see as a light black jacket that includes a hood. From there, you'll need leather for the upper arm and green thick fabric for the lower arm. I suggest cutting the fabric from something that you know looks the part, and then sowing it on to the base. The metal plate on the elbow should be papermached or if you could find scraps of metal to make into that, that's fine too, but a little heavy. The vest can be found easily on airsoft accessory sites or ebay (my friend bought one like that). Now to the pants; It seems like you'll need khaki pants for the base this time. Cut off a little bit below the knee and then sow on a blacker fabric of pants. Around the sowing line, you'll need to papermache that metal again or find something to substitue the band around the legs. Kneepads should be papermached as well, seeing as that is the easiest option unless you can find them around in stores. As for the straps and belt around the waist and upper leg, you could find a supply belt like that at airsoft stores as well, since my friend bought that too. As for the supplies in the belt, that seems like you can buy them from regular stores. You'll also need the pair of gloves he's wearing, so I suggest simple leather gloves and you can paper mache the plates on it. As for shoes, I'm sure you could find something like that somewhere. The mask can be maid of long white bandages or just get a regular hospital mask or something. Can't really help cause it's all army-ish clothing D:

-Berserker-
This is how I want me and my friend to look I think cardboard or plastic can be used for most of the parts. Then cover everything with dark-blue cellophane so I can still see through it, and not being hit by a car for crossing the street with a mask. Marisa Kirisame-ze
You'll kill someone with those sharp edges xD And don't use cardboard =o That stuff looks cheap especially for something that's metal plated. Suggesting papermache again, since that's what most people use these days xD
