I dun believe an anime can be that good.

But, I suppose I'll have to take your word for it.

L was epic.

Light was awesome, if a bit insane (not a bad thing)

I didn't mind Near, but he was a poor replacement of L.

Mello could die for all I care. Actually, I think he did, right?

I, in contrast to most people, think the series got even more interesting when L was killed and replaced with Mello and Near, I think L was the better character, but Near and Mello were so much more...interesting.

 

I'm cosplaying as Mello when I get enough money <3

 

Also, Otaku-Sama, would you affiliate with my club, The Black Fang?

So L is the better character, but his replacements are the more interesting ones...

I can see where you're coming from, but you're right, a lot of people would disagree with you.

 

Although I will say, L's death could hardly have been more epic.

Actually, I was pretty shocked when L had died, and the only reason why I disliked Near and Mello was because I didn't feel like they could be L's successors. But as I kept reading, it did get more interesting because it added a different way of thinking against the Kira case instead of sticking to L's thoughts throughout the whole manga/anime.

Prolly Anime Boston, because it's the closest and it will probably take a year for me to convince my parents to let me cosplay xD

Honestly, I hated Mello and Near through the farthest reaches of the anime. Mello didn't care and it pissed me off. And Near was almost 20 and still played with those dolls. Near was cool though, besides that fact.

I have the opposite. Ever since my parents first dropped me off at Anime North and saw the legions of cosplayers there, they've been wondering when I would cosplay too. I'm planning to cosplay this year as two of my friends are going to. I have about a month to plan who I will be and where to buy myself a cheap costume. Any ideas for me? I'd prefer a character who doesn't have an elaborate costume ex. Lelouche's Zero persona.

My family has never been fully accepting of any anime/manga related thing. It's a bit harder on me, but I feel stronger in pursuing my passion.

Yes, you most likely know how ti tie a tie more than I know how tit tie a tie, as well as you wear a tie more than I wear a tie.

 

Ties make me look professional. I hate looking professional.

I don't have the wig yet so I had to keep my hair up in a hat and I put my scarf on for the hell of it; Punk L Ryuzaki ;D

 

It probably didn't seem like it cause I wasn't in character or had any of that blackness under L's eyes. It'll all come together later xD
