Great Unclean One: VK
Actually' date=' I never managed to get the Anime Club off the ground at my school due to lack of any staff advisors available and lack of support from my so-called 'vice-president', who did absolutely nothing. The only club I have is the one on YCM. T_T[/quote'] Come to my school my friend. We have a "unofficial" club. It has ovar 20 people.
Shadow Zero
There are college anime clubs. found an anime club at a college that you attend, if there is not already one there! :DI don't mind mainstream' date=' it's okay. But what I don't like is when people find it the best above all else. BTW, my narutard friend would NEVER read death note. He'd say naruto pwn's the crap out of it. Also, Marisa-san, I never said you weren't straight ;) As for yuri anime I've watched... none T_T care to reccomend some, anyone?[/quote'] I wouldn't call ONLY mainstream fans anime fans. I'd just call them idiots for being so hooked to what they can get simply. Death Note is way beyond Naruto (though I'm a fan of both), yet he won't try it out? Wow, people truly are stubborn when it comes to anime. Go watch Strawberry Panic~ That's my favorite yuri as of right now cause Shizuma is badass. And it's a pretty emotional anime; not all light and fluffy. But careful, it's been titled as a "yuri rape fest" because of the characters that force their love upon other characters. But it's not hentai, so don't worry about it. The worse it gets to is kissing and whatever. But still, watch it. Actually' date=' what I disapproved of was you showing an interest in yuri, although I am glad that you are showing a decided lack of interest in the sausage fest that is yaoi. And I would ask you to get on aol im so that we can talk there, but you already left. T_T[/quote'] I like gay people irl, they're really happy and kind :3But when it comes to yaoi, I can't stand it. Also, don't you mean MSN? xDI don't use my AIM anymore. But the online MSN thing refuses to work! D: ;_;I don't mind mainstream' date=' it's okay. But what I don't like is when people find it the best above all else. BTW, my narutard friend would NEVER read death note. He'd say naruto pwn's the crap out of it. [/quote'] Lolwut? So....a Orange ninja with ADHD can beat one of Japan's smartest students who has a book with which he can kill anyone....Sure. Why not?Because Narutos name in a Death Note = dead no matter what! Ooooooooh, now what?! :twisted:Narutards are the plague of all anime and manga. Naruto maybe a decent manga/anime' date=' but for some strange reason, it has an unusually high population of hyper-fanatical, close minded fans, more than any other anime. They are the worst kind of fan and they are the ones the West believes represents anime as a whole. These Narutards are the reason why I started this club. I hoped that I would find like-minded individuals who didn't obsess over Naruto and its attached themes of generic action and generic life situations and generic romantic situations. Here's my question to you all: How do you think Naruto became such a powerhouse in the anime world?[/quote']Jutsu and a large child based fan base. nuff said. Marisa Kirisame-ze
@Chaos; Redownload it. I refuse to go on AIM for a couple of reasons, deal x3 @Otaku-sama; Awh that sure does suck. ;_____;I have many friends who enjoy the idea of an anime club, so it shouldn't be hard to get it going. Plaguespreader Zombie
There's an anime club at my school. Bad part? It's only for High School. FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU. But there's a local Anime Club at my library too. Bad part? It's only for 13+ I'm still 12. FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU.

Skuldur
If there is one, it's really, really small. There was one a few years ago but it's not active anymore. D:
Otaku-sama
If there is one' date=' it's really, really small. There was one a few years ago but it's not active anymore. D:[/quote'] This is why we have the Internetz. The Internetz has an endless supply of anime clubs, both casual (like ourse) and serious.
Shadow Zero
The serious ones are filled with people who truly have no life. xD

Shadow Zero
Wait, you're saying that you are a serious Otaku? xD And I'm unfortunately unable to download MSN, since I am on a 2000, and I'm unable to find the online one again! Y_Y
Marisa Kirisame-ze
Nah, just messing with ya'. Though, I like the term "serious", so when you said it, I decided to add my two cents. Awh I see D:Well, we'll just settle for now since I'm stubborn and still refuse to go on AIM :3 Also, I just finished Azumanga Daioh. What a cute series ;____;

-Berserker-
I tried to torrent Lucky Star since a month ago. It was fast for a couple days, until it reached 36.7%, then the speed decreased. Now, 3 weeks later, it's 36.9%

DL
Lucky Star is a bit too... ah... fruity. Azumangah Daioh was one of my all-time favorite anime. I find it simply a different, more physical, type of comedy than lucky star, which is mainly verbal... BTW< my narutard friend thinks less of shojo than he does of shonen. Much, much less. He made so much fun of fruits basket, it's not even funny.
Shadow Zero
Well what else do you expect from a closet Rina Lover like the Aho that is Baka Elcchi-san Linky boy?
DL
Nonono, Ecchi is a narutard, but he actuaslly reads other manga. It's my RL friend. The biggest narutard ever.

DL
Is it just me, or did the shadow in your sig shrink dramatically? Oh, speaking of anime clubs... wow... I;d probably be too shy to join one. And too lazy to look for one.
Shadow Zero
Yeah, but then again, that's who you are, Linky boy. And I had to reduce the size a while ago so that it didn't take up as much space as it did before. That way, I wouldn't be whined at about it and having people trying to tell me to put it in a spoiler, or ask mods to do it if I refused to. DL
Basically, everyone complained it was taking up 1/10th of the page. Now we need a topic... hmm... why is it that the most popular anime are always the ones america give to 4kids and cartoon network?
Shadow Zero
Because of the douchebags in dub central, that's why. :x They seriuosly need to lay off, although there is no such thing as child decency laws in Japan, or what have you. I mean, Misato was nude in the bath tub in the first episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion, and in the dubbed version she was wearing a bathing suit! xD
