Yea, the first major animator passed the idea of animation to Japan, but we aren't smack talking Disney or America in general, just American based corporations like 4kids who mangle, disembowl and whitewash anime to provide to the American masses.

 

Also, I'm Canadian, so I don't mind smacktalking American things.

I meant that, it prolly won't end so quickly. Especially because they get updated less often.

Which is good.

 

If I had to guess at good candidates for the big 3, once the current big 3 end, these would be my top choices.

 

AND it would welcome in an era of monthly update manga, which aren't as well-known as weekly-updated manga, sometimes.

The only problem with your theory is that America is tentative to release anything with a distinctly Japanese title into the mainstream. Names like Naruto, Bleach and One Piece were easily translated into English. Also, do you really want your favourite animes to be made mainstream, therefore disembowled by the FCC?

D.Gray-man and FMA are English names.

 

Tegami Bachi can easily be translated into "Letter Bee"

 

I see no problem with the first point.

 

But the other part, I wouldn't, truthfully. But eh, it'd still be better than the current sheet the Big 3 is shoveling on America.

But... maybe they'd learn not to mess with these next big three.

 

I mean, from what little I've read of DGM, and frm the little I remember from FMA, they're both a bit darker than FMA.

 

Maybe they'd go in adultswim, but I don't see where else it would be good.

Favourite Anime/Manga : Plenty; When they Cry, Elfen Lied, Canaan, Shigofumi, Seitokai no Ichizon, etc.

Anime/Manga watching/reading now: Nothing really; I have plenty of backlogged stuff. -_-' Just finished Higurashi.

 

Oh, and I share the dislike for mainstream animes. :o Rather, any anime that goes far over 50 episodes tend to get worse over time. >_<

1) Tell her about my plan for the Otaku kind to take ovar the universe and beyond.

 

2) Have her allow me to take control of all Nercomorphs from the Dead Space OVA.

 

3) Obtain near godhood from her.

 

4) Become a General in her army.

 

5) Ask her to connect the island to the nearest country.

It's America's solution for the growing prevalence of Japanese culture seeping into America and 'damaging' their economy. By killing off the fan base in America, new American based cartoons have an opening to grow into the mainstream spot. It's cultural imperialism.

You know that guy? Yeah' date=' Walt Disney? If it weren't for him, we wouldn't have had anime. So before we all go on a spree saying "America ruins anime!", let's think about this. Because of his idea of animated movies, shows, etc, you know how Disney got huge with their cartoon characters. Well, he passed on his idea to a Japanese man (forgive me for forgetting the name), who then was able to create anime. One of that man's earliest anime was Astro Boy.

 

Now I'm totally reconsidering on this whole American conspiracy that get's a whole load of crap in today's world.

 

We should really thank Walt Disney for the world of anime and animation as a whole.

Yeah, I've seen most of the episodes. The ending for it kind of sucked, but was also kind of cool at the same time.

Yoruichi Shihoin for sure. She's one of the few fun Soul Reapers, which are even fewer with the female ones. She's also a seriously strong fighter, so she could probably train me to fight when there's nothing else to do. It doesn't hurt that she's a real hottie either, although the age barrier would be a bit of an issue given how long Soul Reapers live. ^^'

Ah, but that's the hurtful part.

 

It doesn't count if Japan was able to produce better animation, what matters is that an American man, Walt Disney, was GENEROUS enough to share his idea with another Japanese man. They worked on many projects together until Japan was able to work the animation system on their own.

 

After Disney had past away, it went down from there, but consider the AMAZING works he produced and be grateful for him to have come up with animation on his own.

 

America is in fact, not envious at all with Japan's production line in animation. Why? Because we're honored to have animated first.

Dude, you forget.

 

The only way to Kill a nercomorph, is to dismember it's arms or legs.....or tentacles.

 

Not to mention, bullets hardly rip off body parts, unless their sniper rounds or slugs.

 

Not to mention, I'll just use them as crew and such when I take ovar the USG Ishimura, training them in the arts of Jew-Jitsu.

And yet there will always be those that are constantly pissed off about Japan having better animation even though it all originated from America. Such is one of the many things that are confusing in this world.

The anime here in America don't suck all the time and yeah this wold is confusing with there animation it always been a problem.
