Spirit of DMG
Wait, R3? I thought the series ended at R2. I know they have Nightmare of Nunnally (Which I'm reading now) and Suzaku of the Counterattack, but they have Lelouch of the Rebellion R3? Or are you talking about the vids on youtube where they point out facts from the ending that seem to prove Lelouch didn't die? That'd make sense... Now, as for me, I'm sold on Lelouch faked his death. Remember, Lelouch still had his Geass after he killed Charles. Had he gained Charles's code, the Geass would have vanished. Thats what happened to C.C., remember? Then when Lelouch confronted Charles, he said "I have found something to replace Geass." or something to that effect anyway. Therefore, if Lelouch had the immortal code or whatever, he wouldn't have Geass, and since he did have Geass after he killed Charles, and I'm pretty sure C.C. still has hers, since she didn't die, the only conclusion left is that Lelouch is either dead or faked his death. I think he faked it. Now, what is "Eden Vital"? They keep mentioning it in Nightmare of Nunnally, but I can't seem to find any information on it. Skuldur
I'm pretty sure that C.C was talking to him through telepathy, like she did with his mother. Also, R3 is a prequal.
Otaku-sama
Nightmare of Nunnally and Suzaku of the Counterattack are just well made doujin. Anything referced in them that is not in the main series are the author's creation. I believe that the creator of Code Geass intended for Leloiche to die as the tragic hero which everyone cries for at the end. I don't believe that Lelouch faked his death. Sure, he's smart, but his original plan was to become the world villian, then have someone kill him under an alias to represent true good. By creating avatars of good and evil, the world would be at peace and suitable for his sister.
DL
Either way, I don't watch anime unless it's in my free time. Like I watched Kanon, which was epic. TYet I'm sad I cannot follow anything you guys are saying, since I only read volume one of the spin-off. Well, I'll find out eventually. Anyone with a Code can talk to anyone in C's World or anyone connected to Geass.
