DBZ introduced the world to anime as a whole.

Before DBZ, anime wasn't nearly as popular, so we've gtot to credit it that much.

I dislike naruto more and more as time goes on. In fact, if sasuke were to die, I'd probably stop reading it.

I used to watch an anime when I was a kid about a kid named fly or something...

I'm still trying to find it to this day...

I played .hack infection a little. It's very good, but a bit too annoying when you lose. Which happens to me alot.

I feel fulfilled about finding dragon quest/Fly.

I also feel happy that hayate the combat butler will never become mainstream because they aren't gonna make an english dub for it. Licensing.

Anime that involve crossdressing like Hayate would never fly on American television as the FCC would have to censor/mangle/disembowel the whole series to make it 'watchable' by the American public.

The thing that troubles me is that my favourite animes (Haruhi, Lucky Star, Azumanga) could be potential targets for American airing. Haruhi is a landmark otaku anime and if it falls into the hands of 4Kids, good anime will take a blow.

If 4Kids got their hands on naruto, THEN I'd be scared.

But Haruhi and Lucky Star already have english dubs, let's just hope 4Kids don't get their hands on them....

Azumangah already finished, so it's probably safe.

New topic: most messed up english dub you've ever heard.

Definitly, for me, Love Hina english dub. Their voices hurt my ears...

Well, Love Hina's the worst dubbing I'[ve ever heard.

How the hell does a japanese girl sound like a texan?

The only voice I like is keitaro's.

Unlike negima, which I hate negi's voice.

Squeaky, Screechy, british... not good combination...

Now I am downloading Shakugan no Shana. My friend's MSN avatar was a pic of a redheaded girl with a sword. I asked her if the pic was from Shakugan no Shana. She said she didn't knew, she only liked it because looks like her. Then she googled SnS and discovered the pic is from that series. She said I know a lot about anime. I said I never watched that series, and the only thing that I know about it is that there is a girl named Shana that has red hair and uses a sword. Now she wants to watch that series with me, so I have to download it.
