Oldest one I remember watching would be this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AP2ASnddkN8Then Robotech and the first Transformers.Some years after that, Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball...Then Saint Seiya, and later a lot of other stuff.My real entry into otakuness would be as recent as year 2003. I traveled to Argentina because my sister, who lives there, just had a baby. There I discovered this channel, Locomotion. The content was entirely japanese animation. The only channel I have ever watched with subtitled anime series. My mind exploded and I suffered a transformation that ended in me being who I am now... Here are my tops (in no particular order);Lavi (D.Gray-man), Shana (Shakugan no Shana), Shiki Senri (Vampire Knight), L (Death Note), Lelouch (Code Geass), Hinata (Naruto), Ulquiorra (Bleach), Ringo & Simca & Ikki (Air Gear), Osaka (Azumanga Daioh), Kida & Izaya (Durarara!!), Yomi (Ga-Rei Zero), Mio (K-ON), Hiyori (Lucky Star), Taiga & Ami (Toradora!), and Gokudera (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!). And most especially - like, seriously, the highest standard of my crush - goes to Shizuma from Strawberry Panic. So hawt. The closest I get to an anime crush is with Osaka from Azumanga Daioh (girl in my avi). She's just awesome and she would be very interesting to meet. I posted one new one today. :T And as for new topic, hmmm... Anyone read Rust Blaster? I recently started reading since one of my favorite cosplayers cosplayed a character in the series, and the character designs are wonderful. So far, it's rather interesting~ It's a very underrated series that should be more popular. Oh, and it's a vampire story. And to be perfectly honest with you, each vampire story I've read always have different aspects to it. What I mean about the cliched vampire stories of today's pop-culture is a vampire romance. My buddy and I were Ash and Pikachu, if you couldn't tell /that would be fail-able And we had so many people run up to us asking for pictures, hugs, and just talking to us in general. I made tons of friends today who cosplayed too xD My favorite being the genderbending of Haruhi and an Allen I met~<3 And well, today would be the first time I actually got glomped irl ...actually, no. Some kid was wearing a chep Akatsuki robe. Yes, like the kind from a Con, but two issues:1. Big red zipper down the front of itB. It was 3 sizes too small, and this was not a big kid.
