i donno man it was a good game

but i prefer the old 2D style Metroid. *sigh* I would prefer that they will make a 2.5D Metroid game, like 3D background and environment and 2.5D Samus now that would be freaking awesome

like in this pic

I really can't get into this game. There's no sense of direction of where you need to go' date=' this is a similar problem with the MP games on the GC and Wii. If I don't know where to go, what's the point in trying to play?

This explains it.

I think i lost all feel because I have a ROM of it on my R4 and I use unlock everything cheats

You get a briefing at the beginning. Thats all you really need to understand the general story...

That's really the only thing you need in EVERY Metroid game (Prime 3 though....still amazes me after i've thrashed it time and again....)

I'm going to assume you haven't played Fusion.

Yes yes.... ive raped fusion too. Aside from the fact that samus actually talks in it (le gasp!), Fusion didnt really impress me. Zero Mission though......

If you've played Fusion, I don't see how you can possibly think the story isn't vital to any Metroid game at all. Fusion had the better story of the two GBA games, that's for sure. Zero Mission is basically a remake of the old games, and doesn't handle the powerups as good.

I didn't say it wasn't vital. I just said it wasn't as good as the others. Especially since chronologically, it's the latest in the series and Nintendo hasn't bothered to expand on it.
