Sorry for this Soul Legacy, there's no Agas, but we are planning on Alucard in the next chapter, and where there's Alucard, there's Agas.

 

[spoiler=Chapter 9: A Dreadful Reunion]

 

Since the day that she and Billy almost ended up dumping each other, she had spent most of her days in her room. Billy understood the shock she had been through, and left her alone during the days, and slept together with her in the night. But one night, he felt how Alexandra began to whimper and squirm next to him in the bed. He woke up because of this and looked at her sleeping. She was sweating cold and shivering like crazy, and she whimpered like a little wounded puppy. She was clearly having a nightmare.

 

"Alexandra?" he gently asked, but she kept on whimpering in her sleep. In her nightmare, a woman dressed in a black leather suit and with blonde hair kept stabbing her over and over again with several yellow, sharp knifes, each stab delivering an electric shock through her body, while laughing in a sadistic way. The woman was Larxene. Ever since Alexandra was stabbed in the foot by her, and the way she taunted her and laughed at her......those things scarred her mind. Suddenly, she woke up and yelled, "PLEASE STOP!!!" and then she began to cry. Billy was scared, but also worried. "Alexandra?! What happened?!" he asked her.

 

"I-I just had a nightmare..." She sobbed. "This blond woman...she kept stabbing me!" Billy sighed, then gave her a hug. "It's alright...It's just a nightmare..." Alexandra shook her head. "No! No! This happened before!!" Billy went confused. "When?" He asked, and Alexandra sighed. "It was when me and my Uncle went to save my dad..." she replied, and began to tell Billy about how Alex and she met Organization XIII...

In a city nearby, Digimon were running and screaming in panic as a giant tidal wave crashed into the city from the docks.

 

"Dance, Water! Dance!" a voice chuckled as the water swept into the city and drenched the civilians. The charismatic, but deadly shape of Demyx emerged from the waves, holding his sitar. "Haha! Too easy!" he chuckled. Two dark portals opened, as Larxene and Marluxia appeared. "We're not here to have fun, Demyx. We're here to find Alexandra Caryston, don't forget it." Marluxia said firmly. Demyx sighed. "Aaw, maaan! Relax, Marly! What's the point in a mission if you don't have a bit fun!" he laughed. Larxene put one of her knifes to his throat. "You better watch it! I got a personal grudge against that wolf b!tch, and NO ONE will stop me from extracting my revenge!" she snapped at him. Demyx gulped, and the three of them disappeared.

 

=Next Day=

 

Fredrik and Alex were sitting around the breakfast table, reading the newspapers. Fredrik suddenly found something. "Hey, Alex! Look here!" he said, and read aloud: "North-East Digimon Town was drenched yesterday, and witnesses claim that they saw three black-dressed figures around the area!" Alex took a strong grip on a piece of the breakfast table, then felt himself twisting it a bit...then it broke. "Don't tell me it's them again..." He replied, rather calmly. Fredrik shrugged, "Might be..." He looked up, away from the newspaper, to see Alex looking down. "After what they did..." Alex muttered, Fredrik put his left hand and patted Alex on the back, "Relax...It can't be them, besides why would they be here for? They don't even know that I'm still alive..." Alex looked up, as cheerful as ever. "Yeah! That's true! Hehe, It's not like they're going to be here for Alexand-" he stopped in mid-sentence. "Oh no..." he sighed. "Huh? What? Why would they want Alexandra?" Fredrik asked. Alex just shrugged. "Don't know!" he said quickly. Fredrik looked at him with a confused look, but then decided not to ask anymore. "Whatever. Hey, that reminds me! Luffy and the others are leaving to their dimension today!" Alex nodded. "Yea, that's right! They should be at the docks now! Let's go say goodbye before they sail home!" Fredrik nodded as they and their families got ready, and then went down to the docks.

Alex, Fredrik, and the rest arrive at the docks, just in time. "Hey!! Luffy!!" Fredrik shouted, as Luffy then looked beyond the ship. "GUYS IT"S FREDRIK!!!" Luffy shouted, and everyone hurried to the side of the ship, waving goodbye, and the rest were too. As they were out distance, Alex closed his eyes, and a portal appeared. Luffy and the others slowly sailed inside...and then the portal dissapeared, leaving no trace of Luffy or the others behind. Alex smiled, "That was a nice visit..." he sighed. "Sure was, Alex!" Fredrik replied, and then looked towards the sunrise. "Aaah...You know Alex...I think we should continue our journey!" he then said. Alex was confused. "Aren't you worried about Alexandra? And those figures in black?" he asked. Fredrik shrugged his shoulders. "Nah. Besides, they got that Alucard fella to protect them!" Alex nodded. I guess you're right..." he said, as they went to their families to say goodbye.

After saying goodbye, Fredrik and Alex went to Crystal Lake. "Ready Alex?" Fredrik asked. Alex nodded, and closed his eyes. A portal appeared in front of them, and Alex smiled as he opened his eyes. "Where does this lead?" Fredrik asked. Alex smirked. "To one of my best friends..." he replied, and stepped through. Fredrik followed him, and as they arrived through the portal, they were greeted by a familiar voice;

 

"Pika?"

 

Alex grinned, he grabbed Pikachu. "Haha, I thought it was you..." Fredrik said, he grabbed Pikachu from Alex. "So you sent us back here. What, you want to meet with Lucario again?" A figure went out the horizon, it was Lucario. He looked at Alex and Fredrik, "Is that...ALEX!!!" He shouted, and quickly ran to him. Alex hugged him as he went close, "There you are..." he said. After the hug, Alex looked around. "Where's Stephanie?" Lucario grinned, "She's inside OUR tent, taking care of OUR baby." Alex dropped his mouth, it seemed to open so wide and long that it could reach the ground. "Y-You and Stephanie...baby...tent..." Alex stuttered. Lucario nodded. "Well, the baby's not out of her stomach yet, but it will be soon...I'm afraid of how to get the baby out, the nearest hospital is a few miles away, but I'm afraid that once she feels the baby, we'll be too late..." Alex shook his head to come back to his senses. "Ugh...w-what?! She's about to give birth?" he asked. "Yes, very soon." Lucario replied. "Come! She has missed you so much!" both Alex and Fredrik nodded and followed Lucario. As they returned to the camp, Fredrik gave Pikachu back to Ash, and then, they looked inside Stephanie's tent. There she was, and her belly was pretty big. She smiled as she saw Alex and Fredrik. "Oh, hi guys!" she said, as Lucario sat next to her and held her hand. "Don't worry, Stephanie. I'll be here for you." he soothed, and kissed Stephanie on the forehead. "Well, I'll do my best to help you..." Alex said, as he prepared to help Stephanie give birth. He turned around, "Unless you guys are afraid of blood, do you want to see me give birth to her?" He asked, everyone scoffed, and said in Unison, "We can see it!"

Alex prepared himself, putting on a pir of gloves, then washing them. He walked back to the tent, "I hope you're ready for this..." He said to Stephanie, and she nodded. Alex began to grab a scalpel and waited for a few minutes, "Do you feel any pain?" He asked her, she shook her head. "No...wait...OW! I felt something painful!! It hurts!!" She shouted, Lucario walked to her, but was stopped by Alex. "No, it's time..." He said, and began to cut Stephanie's stomach. The rest twitched their eyes at it, then everything went black to them.

"Wake up!" A voice shouted to Lucario, Fredrik, and Ash. They finally found themselves kicked at and immediately woke up in pain. "OW!" They shouted, "What was that for?" Fredrik asked. Alex stood there, shaking his head, "The operation's finished..."

Alex, Fredrik, Ash, and Lucario walked inside the tent, and they all looked at a Riolu that was sleeping next to Stephanie. Her stomach was sewn together, and she smiled at the sleeping Riolu. Lucario's eyes teared with happiness, and he sat down next to Stephanie, holding her hand. "It's a little boy..." she said, tears flowing across her cheeks with happiness. "He's so...so...b-beautiful..." Lucario almost cried a bit, but he just hugged Stephanie, and repeatedly told her how much he loved her. Fredrik, Ash and Alex smiled at the three of them, and then leaved them alone for awhile. "Hope that they will be happy together..." Alex said.

In the desert region of the Digi-World, Saix, Xaldin and Luxord appeared, disappointed to see that they didn't find the one they were looking for. "Hmph! Seems as they aren't here, either!" Saix snorted. "Well, it's not my fault, you know!" Luxord replied. "Enough, both of you." Xaldin went in between of them. "Let's just keep looking. If there's one thing that will bring Fredrik back to our organization, it's to kidnap his beloved daughter. Saix!" Saix nodded, and sniffed in the air. "I sense her smell...about...two-hundred kilometers...west of here!" he replied. "Ecxellent..." the three of them disappeared.

Alex had a bad feeling, he quickly walked back to Lucario, Stephanie and their baby. "Sorry but we must go..." He said. "Already? Well, be sure to come back soon..." Lucario replied. Alex nodded and turned away, he grabbed Fredrik and said bye to Ash, then went to a portal. "Why are we going back?" Fredrik asked. Alex didn't reply, as soon as they were out of the portal, Alex grabbed Fredrik again and ran to their house.

 

=Meanwhile=

 

Alexandra sat on her room, as usual, and was scetching a few pictures. She had become a great painter during her time in Art Class at school. She was now scetching a picture of herself and Billy kissing each other, surrounded by a cloud of roses. She smiled as she finished it, and began to color it. She didn't hear when a vortex of darkness was formed behind her, and Larxene appeared from it. She smirked, as she silently pulled up one of her knifes, and sneaked towards Alexandra. The door bursted open as Alex & Fredrik appeared. "Alexandra!!" Alex shouted, he looked around. Alexandra looked confused, "What is it Uncle?" Alex looked around again. Then he kneeled down, and looked down. "No...No...I felt them...I know they were here..." He ran out of the room, and then outside. "First Fredrik, then Alexandra, so they do plan to kidnap her..." He ran in a random direction, and then found himself in a forest. "D-Damnit..." He muttered, and looked around. "SHOW YOURSELVES!!!" He shouted. A portal appeared and a man in a black cloak looked at Alex, smirking. "Looking for us?" The man asked, his fiery hair pointed a bit upwards, it was Axel. Alex turned his attention to him, "Just what is Xemnas planning..." he asked. Axel just smirked. "Oh, nothing special." he replied. "Just to make sure Fredrik knows his place!" Alex was shocked. "B-But...NO! How do you know he's..." he tried to stop himself, but Axel had heard enough. "Hehehe. How great then! I'll go inform Xemnas! LARXENE!" Larxene appeared next to Axel. "We're leaving!" he demanded, and they disappeared. Alex looked shocked. How could they know that Fredrik was still alive? He sighed, and went back to Fredrik, who waited for him near the portal. "Well?" he asked. Alex shrugged. "Nothing. I just thought...nevermind." he sighed, as he and Fredrik returned to the Pokémon dimension.

[spoiler=Chapter 10: The Organization And Alexandra Caryston]

 

Alexandra walked outside, it was about 12 at night, and she had to sneak out. She looked around as she walked. "Man this is giving me the creeps..." She suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder, she gulped and turned around. It was Agas. "What are you doing out at night?" Agas asked. "Uh...I was just disturbed by something! And decided to go out for a walk..." Agas sighed. "It's dangerous out here...at night..." She replied. Alexandra thought of something, "Wait, What are YOU doing out at night?" Agas gulped. "Well...I..." She blushed. "I was just meeting with Alucard...that's all!" She turned away, afraid that Alexandra might see her blush. "What's that?" Alexandra asked. "You're blushing!" Agas slowly nodded. "It's just that...nevermind." she replied. Alexandra nodded. "Ok, I'm not going to force you to tell me, but, you said that you've seen Alucard? Where is he?" Agas' blush disappeared. "Well, he's in an old warehouse, I believe..." she said, but before she had time to finish, Alexandra ran towards the city. Agas sighed, and disappeared into the night.

Alucard was in the old, abandoned warehouse where he had rescued Alexandra, and was practice shooting on the wall, where he had hung up several targets. He fired again and again, hitting the targets bulls-eye mark. He sighed, and sat down. It was in this moment that Alexandra sneaked inside, and tried to walk up to him unnoticed.

 

"You should not be here at night..." Alucard said, still not seeing that Alexandra was behind her. She was scared at first, but then she sighed. "I just wanted to see how you're doing..." she replied. "You know, trying to be your friend." Alucard chuckled. "Ha! As if I would need friends! I'm dead...and dead people don't need friends!" he replied. Alexandra sighed again, and sat next to him. "Dead people don't need friends? Then what about Agas, what's your relationship with her?" Alucard stayed quiet. Alexandra sighed again, "OK, OK, OK...I won't ask..." She looked around. "So what have you been doing?" She asked. "Isn't it obvious? I was target-shooting..." Replied Alucard.

The moon slowly went down, and the sun was just a glint on the horizon. After the night, Alexandra was already asleep, bored out of her mind. She woke up, and saw that she had been carried home, and laid in her own bed. "H-Huh?" she was confused, but soon found a note on the nightstand. She picked it up and read it;

 

I carried you home, so don't ask yourself who did it. I just didn't want you to freeze.

 

Alucard

 

Alexandra smiled. "I knew it! I knew that there's something good in him!" she said to herself. She stood up, got dressed and prepared for breakfast.

In the Pokémon dimension, Lucario woke up beside Stephanie and Riolu. He smiled at her, and gently kissed her. "Good morning..." he whispered, and quietly sneaked outside. He found that Fredrik and Alex were already up and practiced fighting with each other. "Good morning guys..." Lucario said. The two stopped and looked at him, "Good morning!"

Agas walked alone, she stopped at the warehouse that held Alucard inside. She walked inside and looked around, "Alucard?" She asked. There was a strong force of wind before Alucard appeared in front of Agas. "Agas..." Alucard replied, in a what happy tone. Agas smiled, "Why don't you and I take a walk?" Alucard nodded and followed Agas outside. They walked alone, by themselves, on the road. "So, Alucard? You remember...that night?" Agas slowly asked. Alucard nodded. "Heh. Sure I do. To not remember it would be a sin." Alucard replied. Agas giggled a bit. "I see." Agas smiled, as they sat down and looked at the ocean. She put her head on Alucard's shoulder, "If only we can stay like this..." Alucard nodded. She held her hand on his suit, and he held his arm around her. "To really believe that a Vampire like me could have such feelings..." he said quietly. Agas was almost sleeping on Alucard's shoulder, and he smiled at her. "We will be together again, Agas. Somehow...we will."

"So, what do you two plan to do now?" Alex asked Lucario as they sat outside the tent, waiting for Stephanie to wake up. Lucario shrugged, "I don't know, maybe spend time with our baby..." Alex nodded, "That sounds good for you two..." Fredrik smirked, "You mean three..." Alex nodded. Then, he got up. "If you want us to leave it would be fine...we could visit the Final Fighters..." Alex said, but then, he felt Lucario hugging him. "No! Please, Alex! Don't go again!" he pleaded. "I-I don't want you to leave me! Y-You're the only one that...that I ever...really enjoyed to be together with...ever since I was a Riolu myself! Please, Alex! Don't leave me again!" small tears fell from his eyes, and he looked at Alex with a pleading look. "A-And also...I need your help. I-I don't really know...h-how to be a good father. Please...stay..." Fredrik looked at Alex. "Well...we're not really going anywhere special..." he said. "So, what do you say, Alex?" Alex looked at Lucario, he made a puppy-face, and when he looked at Fredrik, it was the same. His bored face made his eyes look like dots, "...Fine."

 

"Yes!!" Lucario shouted, but quickly put his hand to his mouth. "Oh Damnit...I must've woken Stephanie..." He turned to the tent, and Stephanie was still heavily sleeping. "She seems to be a heavy sleeper..." Fredrik said.

Alexandra took a walk outside, it looked like a beautiful day. But something was wrong...everybody that passed her, seemed to glare at her, as if something was wrong with her. She could feel a drop of water splash on her shoulder, she looked up, to find a large storm. "That's weird...it was sunny just then..." She turned around and walked back but bumped into a figure. "Sorry I-" She stood there, speechless, there was a woman in a black cloak, her blond hair waved around from the cold winds. "We meet again...Caryston's daughter..." she smirked. Alexandra was terrified. "N-No......please..." she began to walk backwards, but suddenly, one of the persons that passed her tripped her, and she fell to the ground. Another figure with black cloak looked down at her, his black, long hair hanging down in dreadlocks. "Thanks, Xaldin." the woman said in a baby-like tone. Xaldin just humphed and pulled out a lance from thin air, aiming it at Alexandra's throat. She gulped nervously. "No, please! I beg you!" she pleaded. The woman pulled out a yellow knife and threw it at Alexandra, and it hit her arm, pinning her to the ground. "AAGH!" she yelled in pain. "P-PLEASE! SOMEONE! HELP ME!" she screamed, but the woman just pulled out more knifes. "Nope." she simply answered, smirking sadistically. A gunshot was heard, and the next thing that happened was Larxene cursing. "ARGH!!!" She shouted, grabbing her arm, which was bleeding, in pain. She looked up, to find Alucard standing on a tall building, he jumped down, and shot Xaldin, who dodged the bullet. Alucard ran next to Alexandra, "Don't worry..." He said. Alexandra looked at him, "Why did you save me?" Alucard got up and turned away. "Because you're Caryston's daughter...and my friend." he aimed behind himself, and without looking, he fired straight at Xaldin, but he used his lance to deflect the bullet. Larxene gave Alexandra a grim look, and then, she and Xaldin disappeared, and the storm ended. "W-What...did you...say?" Alexandra slowly asked. Alucard didn't answer, but he disappeared in a cloud of bats. Alexandra gasped a bit, and a small, happy tear fell from her eye. "You were right, dad. He really IS protecting me..." she thought.

After about two hours, around 12 in the morning, Stephanie woke up and went out of her tent with the baby Riolu in her arms. Lucario noticed her, and ran up to her. "Morning, Steph!" he said with a smile, and she bended down to kiss him. "Morning, darling!" she replied. Alex went up to the three of them, and looked at the Riolu, snuggled up in Stephanie's arms. "He's really cute." he said. "Thank you. You know, I couldn't have done it without you!" she replied. Alex blushed a bit. "Aahh, hehe! It was nothing!" he said while blushing. At that moment, the Riolu woke up and rubbed his eyes. He looked at Alex, and giggled while pulling his nose. Alex chuckled, "He likes me!"

 

They all smiled, it was so peaceful to add to Riolu. Riolu stopped pulling on Alex's nose and looked at Fredrik. He smiled and stretched his hand out to him. Fredrik gently grabbed his small paws, "He's so small..." he said softly, and gently stroke Riolu on the head. He giggled, and suddenly, he jumped out of Stephanie's arms and ran up along Fredrik's arm, and landed on his head. "Hahaha! Look at this little joker, eh?" Fredrik laughed, and gently grabbed Riolu. "You're just a big prankster, eh? Yes you are! Yes you are!" he said with a baby-like voice and tickled Riolu, who laughed and giggled. Everyone laughed along with Riolu. Fredrik gae back Riolu to Stephanie, who hugged him gently. "You're my son, aren't you?" she said for herself. Riolu hugged Stephanie's jacket, and yawned in the most cutest way ever possible, which made everyone say "Aaaawwwww..." as Riolu fell asleep. "We'll just let him rest..." Lucario suggested. Stephanie nodded and handed over Riolu to Lucario, who carried him back to his and Stephanie's tent. Stephanie smiled at Alex and Fredrik. "Oh, one more thing Alex..." Stephanie said while looking at Alex. "Thank you for...well, everything! You were the first one that my Lucario ever became best friends with! You should have seen him when we sleep. He has these...nightmares, you see. He just...cries and whimpers...afraid that you never would return to see him. It really broke my heart when I first saw him like that. He was...truly miserable." a small tear fell from Stephanie's eye. Alex wiped it out for her. "Stephanie...I-I never knew how much I meant for him. He really must have liked me." Stephanie nodded. "More than you could imagine." she replied. "If there's anything I could do to make him...feel better." Alex said, and then, he got an idea. "A-ha! I know! Stephanie...would you mind if I would sleep together with Lucario tonight? So that he doesn't have to be worried that I'm gone!" Stephanie smiled. "Of course you can! He would be so happy with you on his side!" she replied.

Lucario laid asleep on his bed, and Alex walked inside the tent. He sat next to Lucario, who quietly snored. Then Alex began to lie down on the bed. Lucario seemed to have the nightmare again, but as he moved he felt Alex's hand. He smiled in his sleep.

Lucario woke up, to find Alex sitting next to him. "Alex?" he said confused. Alex smiled at him. "Well, seems like you woke up." Alex smirked. Lucario sat up. "But...why?" he asked. "Well, I kinda heard from Stephanie that you...missed me." Alex replied. "You seemed to have nightmares about me disappearing, never returning. So, I kinda figured that you wouldn't have to feel that way if I...sleeped together with you." Alex explained. Lucario smiled at Alex. In fact, he smiled wider than before, and he hugged Alex tight. "THANK YOU! THANK YOU SO MUCH!" he exclaimed while he started to cry. "I...I JUST DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH I CAN THANK YOU!" Alex was overwhelmed of Lucario's happiness.

Alexandra ran back to the house, she seemed to find the Organization knowing her every movement, and wherever she went, she would find Larxene, who chased her. She reached the door and was about to open the door, when she was grabbed by Larxene. "No!! Let me go!! Mom!! Help me!!" She shouted. Larxene smirked, she grabbed one of her knifes and swinged it to Alexandra's throat, "Scream again and I'll kill you!" Alexandra cried and cried as her tears fell from her eyes. "Please...just let me go!! I haven't done anything!" she begged Larxene. But she just smirked, dropped Alexandra and leaped a few meters away. She threw about twenty knifes at Alexandra, and all of them stabbed her all over her body. She fell to the ground, screaming and crying like crazy, and Larxene cackled in her sadistic, almost insane way. She saw the door open behind Alexandra, and she disappeared. The one who opened the door was Rose, and she was shocked when she saw Alexandra lying on the ground, screaming and crying, with knifes all over her body and blood flowing from her wounds. "LILY! LILY! COME QUICK! IT'S YOUR DAUGHTER!" she shouted to the others inside. "ANGEL! FREDDY! SOME OF YOU CALL A DOCTOR!"

Alexandra opened her eyes, she looked around. There was everybody, looking worried. She looked again, "I'm...in a hospital?" Lily nodded. "Are you alright, dear? I've told your father that you were sent here. What happened?" Alexandra sighed. "Well..." She started, and told them of what happened.

 

"WHAT?!?" Alex looked like he was about to go berserk. "THOSE...DAMN...BASTARDS!!!" he roared, and actually smashed a wooden chair into splinters. Fredrik was about as mad as Alex. "Why?! Why?! WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS?!?!" he repeated. Billy was deeply concerned for Alexandra. "Don't worry, my dear. They won't hurt you as long as I am here." he comforted her, and kissed her gently on the cheek. Billy looked at the others. "I will stay with her here for the night." he said. The others nodded, and Lily promised to visit every day before they left her and Billy. Billy sat next to Alexandra's bed. "Don't worry. I'll be here with you." he soothed.

 

Alex looked down, his eyes were blank, and covered in a shadow. "Fredrik..." He said, and Fredrik looked up. "What is it?" He replied. "You better protect Alexandra good, while I...kill them." Alex replied, Fredrik smiled, "Yeah...and Good luck!" Alex ran out of the Hospital. "It's time to stop that Organization, even if it means risking my life!!"

[spoiler=Chapter 11: Alex Sparks]

 

 

Alex was rushing through the forest, trying to find a way to reach the Organization. He cursed quietly as he found...nothing. "Damn it! There MUST be a way!" he said to himself. But then, he sat down for awhile. He began to remember all the fun times that he and Fredrik had together when they were young, and still a Gabumon and Dorumon. "Fredrik..." he sighed, and closed his eyes. He started to remember one time, when he and Fredrik promised each other to be best friends...

"Alex, C'mon! You can't catch me!" Fredrik giggled mockingly. He and Alex were playing Tag, and Alex was 'it'. Both of them giggled and laughed as they chased each other over and over again. Suddenly, they both fell over, and fell on top of each other, laughing. "Hahaha! That was fun, Fredrik!" Alex laughed. "Yea, you were too!" Fredrik replied and smiled. They laid down next to each other and looked at the sky. "Hey, Alex?" Fredrik asked. "What is it, Fredrik?" Fredrik smiled, he got up. "Let's promise to be best friends forever..." Alex got up. "Of course..." He grabbed Fredrik's hand, and shook it. "We'll shake on it!"

Alex had ran as he remembered that, tears flowing from his eyes, blurring his image. "Argh! Damnit!!" He shouted, wiping his eyes as he stopped. "This wouldn't have happened if we didn't turn to Digimon!" He kneeled down. "Just how did this happen..." He returned back up, and continued searching. "And why do I have these memories right now? Why must they keep haunting me?!" he soon stopped, and fell to his knees. "WHY?! WHY CAN'T THESE STUPID MEMORIES JUST GO AWAY?!?" he shouted, and lied down on the ground crying. "WHY, WHY, WHY?!?! WHY CAN'T I JUST FORGET ABOUT IT ALL?!" his tears fell onto the grass, and he felt hopeless, as another memory started to move into his mind...

"Alex?! ALEX! PLEASE, WAKE UP, ALEX!!" Fredrik shouted. Alex was unconscious and badly injured after a battle with some evil Digimon, and Fredrik was next to Alex as he lied on his hospital bed. "Don't worry! He'll be back in no time!" an Angewomon comforted him, and went out of the room. Fredrik had tears in his eyes, and he just wanted Alex to wake up. Suddenly, he felt a hand whipe away his tears. "P-Please, Fredrik......d-don't cry..." a voice said weakly. Fredrik looked at the bed, and Alex lied there, looking at him while smiling. "I-I don't want to...t-to see you cry f-for me. All I ever want for you...i-is to keep you happy." Fredrik smiled at Alex, and held his hand. "Please...Alex......don't leave me, ever! Please, promise?" Alex smiled wider. "We promised to be best friends, didnt we? Best friends don't die for each other..."

Alex laid on the ground, nearly breathless. He punched the ground, "Why..." He looked up. "Wait...the Organization! They MUST be trying to run me out of here..." He got up. "But no...Hehe, Show yourselves Organization!!" he shouted. However, there was no response. Suddenly, Oblivion spoke in his mind, "Alex?! What on Earth are you doing?! You know that the Organization XIII is WAY more than you can handle! You need Fredrik to help you!" he said, but Alex just shook his head. "No, Oblivion. Fredrik...must not die...like the last time. I promised myself...I promised him too!" he replied. "But you ALSO promised that friends don't die for each other." said Oblivion. "I know. But...I just want to keep him...and Alexandra...and my wife and kids...safe. No matter the cost." he answered, and Oblivion sighed. "Well, you still need help! Perhaps you could ask someone ELSE for aid! Like Kakashi! Or Auron!" Alex nodded. "Yes. Yes, of course! I still got them to ask for help! Thanks, Oblivion!" Alex said, as he closed his eyes, and opened a portal. He stepped through. "Just don't forget about your friend, Alex..." he sighed.

As Alex stepped through the portal, he was quickly taken to a familiar village. "I wonder if Naruto or Sasuke still remembers me..." He walked around the village, everybody seemed to greet him as he passed by. "Well that shows they still remember me. But I need to know where Naru-" A voice interupted him. "Hey Alex!!!!" A figure ran to him at full speed, it hit him and they fell over. Alex looked to see who it was, "Naruto!" he said happily, and Naruto helped him up. "Hey, Alex! I haven't seen you around for AGES!" he grinned happily. "So, what ya doin'?" Alex frowned a bit. "Naruto. I need you to take me to Kakashi! It's really important that I speak with him!" Naruto smiled and made a thumbs up. "O.K! Follow me!" he leaped off into the city, and Alex digivolved into Dorugoramon, and flied after him.

A few miles away from the Konoha Village, two cloaked figures were getting closer. "So, this is the way to Konoha, eh?" one of them asked. "Of course, Hidan!" the other replied, a bit annoyed. "You should just shut up until we arrive!" Hidan snarled a bit. "Bah! Don't tell me what to do, Kakuzo! You're just a money-obsessed IDIOT if you ask me!" he added, and Kakuzo gruffed a bit. "Hmph! Just keep your babbling to your victims, Hidan!" he said, ending their conversation, and they kept walking.

Alex and Naruto arrived in a hospital. "Has Kakashi gotten sick?" Alex asked, and Naruto shook his head. They went inside Kakashi's room, at which Alex saw Kakashi, bandages wrapped around him and a bit of tissued blood inside a trash can. "What...happened?" Alex asked. Kakashi sighed, "It was the Akatsuki..." Alex raised his eyebrow. "A...katsuki?" Kakash nodded. "A group of ninjas, they plan to receive power. Lady Tsunade had thought that the Akatsuki was in Orochimaru's control..." Alex sighed. "Then that left me with nothing." Kakashi got up, holding on to the bed sheet that covered his mouth. "Why did you come here?" He asked. Alex tried to smiled, "Just a visit..." Kakashi shook his head. "No, I know when you're lying, Alex." Alex sighed, "Alright, me and Fredrik has these...troubles with an Organization, I plan to defeat them but I don't want to risk Fredrik's life in my plan. I thought you would help me, but I can see it's not going to happen..." Naruto took a chance. "Oh! Why don't you let me team with you? I can be a big help!" Alex looked at him. "That can be alright, as long as Kakashi approves of it..." He turned to Kakashi, who nodded. "O.K. then. Hey! Where's Sasuke?" Naruto looked down, seemingly depressed. Kakashi took the turn to explain, "Sasuke's joined with Orochimaru..." Alex also looked depressed. "That's...too bad." he replied. "Yeah, it is..." Kakashi said, and put on his face mask. "But you will need more ninjas than Naruto to defeat that 'organization'. I can feel it." Alex nodded. "True, true. Maybe you know some more ninjas that could help..." he was interrupted as sand flowed into the room, and formed into the dreaded shape of Gaara of The Desert.

 

"Perhaps I could lend a hand?" he said coldly. Alex went furious. "YOU! HOW DARE YOU SHOW YOURSELF IN FRONT OF ME AFTER WHAT YOU DID TO MY NIECE!" he roared, and tried to punch him. But Naruto deflected his punch. "No, Alex! Calm down! Gaara's one of the good guys now!" he explained. Alex looked shock and embarrased, "Oh! Sorry!!" Gaara humphed at it. "Whatever, so how about it?" Alex nodded. "It would be helpful to me!" Gaara turned around. "Then perhaps you would allow my brother to join us?" Alex nodded. "Who is he thoug-" The door opened and a man in black clothing, with a wrapped puppet on his back appeared. "I'm Gaara's brother!" Alex's eyes twitched, "W-were you guys listening to us, the whole time?" Gaara's brother smirked. "Well..." Alex stopped him. "Never mind! So what's your name?" Gaara's brother smirked, and pulled up his puppet. "I'm Kankuro!" he replied. "And this is one of my three puppets; Crow!" Alex twitched a bit. "Three?! Where are the other two?" he asked. "I got them in summoning scrolls!" Kankuro explained. "Ok......" Alex began to think that these...'ninjas' were getting weirder and weirder by every moment. "Sooo...mind if I stay here for a night? I need to..." all of them suddenly heard as the village alarm went off. "Oh no! It's the Akatsuki!" Kakashi ignored his wounds and rushed out, followed by Naruto, Gaara, Kankuro and Alex.

As the five of them got out, they faced a slaughterfield. Hundreds of sodiers were dead, and in the middle stood Kakuzo and Hidan. "So they're the Akatsuki?" Alex asked. Kakashi nodded, "But only a part of them...Only those 2 were able to defeat these soldiers..." Alex gulped. "Then they must be tough..." He said, "Ah, Dang it!! If I knew the Akatsuki existed I would have gone to Auron first!!" Kakashi looked at Alex. "Auron?" Alex shook his head. "Never mind, Kakashi, you stay in bed, you still have your wounds..." Kakashi sighed. "That is true..." He walked away, and laid against the wall. "HEY!" Alex shouted to Hidan, "C"mon, let's get this over with and fight!!!" Hidan smirked. "But first allow me to introduce myself! I am Hidan!! And this is my partner Kakuzo!" Alex shrugged. "Ok but let's sta-" He dodged an attack from Hidan, who had thrown his scythe at Alex. Hidan stood still. "Can you give me that back?" Alex looked at Hidan, was he crazy? He grabbed the scythe and threw it back to Hidan, but the scyhte had stabbed Hidan on the stomach. Hidan smiled, "Oh C'mon! Is this all the BullSh-t you can do?" Alex took a step back, What had just happened? He met a man who loved pain? He gulped. Hidan threw the scyhte again, Alex dodged it but it slashed him on the back. He dropped to the ground, "Urgh..."

Meanwhile, Naruto, Gaara, and Kankuro had tried to defeat Kakuzo. Naruto rushed to him, and made a hand sign. "Taju Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" Several clones appeared all around, and they all rushed to Kakuzo. Kakuzo stood still as the Naruto's rushed to him. "Fool..." he smirked, and suddenly, strings emerged from his limbs and stabbed all the clones. The real Naruto dodged, and Gaara took over. He attacked with his sand, but Kakuzo managed to dodge. However, Gaara made the sand grab his foot. "Desert Coffin!" he commanded while clutching his fist. Kakuzo's foot was crushed, but it separated from his ankle, and was reattached by strings that sewed together the wounds! "Hmph. Time to die!" Kakuzo shouted, and the strings formed thich spear-looking spikes that charged at the ninjas. Gaara, Kankuro, and Naruto all dodged, jumping upwards, out of range. Kankuro grabbed Crow, then reeled the bandages off. Out came a creepy looking puppet, it stared at Kakuzo, and Kankuro smirked. He unrolled his scroll, and another puppet came out. "Meet Black Ant and Crow!" Kankuro shouted. He moved his fingers, and the puppets, in his control, charged at Kakuzo. Kakuzo dodged their charge, and saw that Black Ant was behind him. The grotesque puppet opened up like a coffin, and locked Kakuzo inside. Crow's joints disassembled, and sharp blades emerged from them. "EAT THIS!" Kankuro whipped his fingers, and the blades pierced Black Ant's insides. Assuming that Kakuzo was beaten, he was about to release him, but then, black threads exploded from within Black Ant, and Kakuzo was released. His hands and feet were now hanging loosely in a cloud of threads, and a large 'mane' of threads hanged from his stomach and back. "DIE, FOOLS!" he sended his mane of threads at Crow and Black Ant, utterly destroying them. Kankuro grunted, he pulled back his hand, and the remains of Crow and Black Ant flew back to him, Kakuzo looked behind him. A wave if sand crashed to him, but Kakuzo had dodged, a whip of sand slashed at Kakuzo and Gaara appeared.

Hidan grabbed his Scythe, and licked it, he smirked. Alex stared in horror at Hidan, he had seen a move like that before, a blood aligning. Hidan raised his scythe, and stabbed himself in the stomach again, and Alex screamed in pain, blood spilling out from his mouth. "W-what the hell?" Hidan sighed in comfort, and took the scythe out. "FEEL THE PAIN!!" Hidan shouted, Alex panted heavily, kneeling on his 2 legs and 2 arms. "W-What the hell is he doing?!" he said to himself, slowly standing up. "AHAHAHAHA!! WANT SOME MORE?!?!" Hidan shouted, and stabbed himself in the arm. Alex screamed in pain as his arm began to hurt, and more blood spilled from his mouth. "G-GAAAAHH!!!" he fell over again, and Hidan pulled out a thin metal spike. "TIME TO FINISH THIS!!!" he shouted, and was about to stab himself with the spike, until someone knocked him away. Alex's vision was blurring, but he managed to see someone running up to him, screaming; "ALEX!! ARE YOU OKAY?!?! ALEX!!!" then, Alex fainted.

Alex woke up in the hospital bed, he looked at somebody next to him, "Z-Zidane?" Zidane looked reliefed, "OH HE"S AWAKE!!!" Zidane shouted, and Kakashi, Naruto, Gaara, Kankuro, and 2 other familiar faces appeared. Alex looked at them, "Auron...Tidus?" Tidus smiled as always, but Auron looked serious. "Alex. We heard that you are going to fight Organization XIII. Why do you keep fighting these impossible battles?" he asked. Alex looked down. "Because...I have to protect my friends." he replied. "Especially...Fredrik..." a small tear fell from his eye, but he quickly whiped it out. Zidane looked worried, and stepped up. "Alex? Is there something wrong?" he asked, but Alex just stood up from the bed and rushed out. "LEAVE ME ALONE!!" he shouted with tears in his eyes, and ran out.

Alex sat on one of the house roofs, his face buried in his hands. He was crying, for all he was worth. He really wanted to keep Fredrik safe, to be able to live the last days of his life by his side. But if he now would challenge the organization, it would probably result in his death. He cried even more as he realised his short choose of options. He didn't hear as Zidane climbed up on the roof, and slowly approached him. "A-Alex?" he asked gently. "M-Mind if I...sit next to you? You look like you could need someone to talk to." Alex looked at Zidane, and wiped his eyes again, "S-sure..." Zidane sat next to him. "Why do you risk your lives, for those who are dear to you?" Alex suddenly had a feeling of shock, the childish Zidane had turned to a serious one. "Because...I just want to take care of them..." Zidane sighed. "Dying won't be 'taking care of them'" He replied, and patted Alex on the back. "You don't need a reason to help people, but for some reason...you do, and that reason is love..." Zidane got up, and walked back inside.

Alex walked by himself on the road of the Village, he sighed, a fog appearing from his mouth. He remembered what Zidane had said.

 

"You don't need a reason to help people, but for some reason...you do, and that reason is love..."

 

Zidane was right, Alex deeply cared for his family, and he loved them. He sighed, and made up his mind, he would ask Auron, Zidane, and Tidus to join him in his battle. That would make a team of Alex, Gaara, Naruto, Kankuro, Auron, Tidus, and Zidane, but Kakashi seemed fine when he returned, so Kakashi would be coming. He planned a strategy that night, as he walked. Without him knowing, Zidane was stalking him, as he jumped between the rooftops and looked at him. "Poor Alex..." he sighed, and jumped away as Alex looked up. Alex decided to get some sleep, and he got back to the hospital he had been in. He laid down on his bed, and slowly closed his eyes. "Don't worry, Fredrik......I will not die..." he said quietly, and then fell asleep.
