invisible guest/members?

the other day i was on and i noticed that near the top of the screen it lets you know who is veiwing the page you are. it had a couple of member's names and a couple of guest. but it also had a couple of "invisible" guest or members.(i can't remember which)

 

what are "invisible" guest/members?

Guests can't be invisible, as they haven't even registered yet.;)

Now, invisible members are the ones that you can't see in the Who's Online List, so you also can't see what they might be doing at that moment.

 

Members can become 'invisible' by following the following process:

Go to: 'User CP'-->'Your Profile'-->'Edit Options'-->'Login, Cookies and Privacy' and then check the 'Hide me from the Who's Online list.' box.
