Struggle Of Powers

[Jake the Sage]

Lora was shocked to hear that Aya was from the Western Military. Normally she would be disguised being so close to someone from that Hell On Earth- but having Aya crying softened her heart and she gave her a hug to say 'its alright'. Lora let out a laugh and then gasped in shock . . . if Aya was from the Western Military, then wouldn't that mean CATHERINE was also!? Getting up she grabbed Aya's shoudlers, "Is Catherine from the Western Military too!?"

 

The plan had been laid down . . .

 

Kallen and Koya would lead the main group in attacking the main gate. While Alamos and his forces attack the Western Gate. With the main Western Forces distracted by the two groups, Cougar, Natalie and Destined would enter through the sewers. Though they may encounter some of Dr. Wrights genetic experiments and all serious shorts of traps. And once inside any Western Forces that surrender would be held captive.

 

Yaming stood and clapped her hands, the plan was well thought out and made sense. "When we are inside . . . the General is mine!"

Catherine glared at Black, "What I do is none of your business, but back at the base we do have an extensive file about you.".She was smiling now, "I wonder... When you see Destined tell him to call me using the phone you stole, the number will be under the name Doctor." Catherine turned and walked away to get Aya ready to leave when she heard Lora say, "Is Catherine of the Western Military too?" *Dammit! Aya blew our cover! I have to go now!* With that Catherine ran out of the hideout and headed toward the center of town. She called the General, "Sir get the escort here now my cover is blown!"

 

Aya nodded, "She had me write a story to get her a disk from Mr. Todou about something called a Radiant Wave Surger, Lora... please believe me I'm sorry!" Aya collapsed against Lora, still crying hysterically, "I'm so sorry."

 

Cougar was annoyed, Natalie had forced him to promise not to interfere and now he was regretting it. He didn't trust Destined, but Natalie swore that it would be okay so he'd agreed. Now he wasn't allowed to interfere unless a fight broke out, and if that happened, he'd do everything in his power to protect Natalie.

[Blake]

"Oh really? About me?" He chuckled "What's to tell my dear." When she walked away he followed "We aren't done. Then he heard Aya and Lora "So you're part of the military? Interesting." He LAughed and warped up beside Aya "Well, you are military? Who wuold've guessed? I gotta go now. Bye-bye birdy." He gave a malicious grin, hoping she would freeze again. He suddenly warped. As he went to find Destined, he took a sidetrack and summoned White, and another minion, named Sterling. "When I get the phone, call 'Doctor', understand?" When White nodded he grinned and changed to Sterling "And you go out and stalk Catherine." He nodded as well and Black went after Destined.

Lora couldn't catch her breath as Aya admitted the truth, that Catherine was also a member of the Western Military. Though Lora wasn't concerned about Aya, who had enough trust to tell her secret, Catherine was another subject all together. She had never shown any signs of connecting to the group and seemed aloof . . . and now Lora knew why. "Wait!? A disk from Todou!?" her mind reeled with the realization that the Western Military had stolen possibly valuable information from them. She stood up and shook Aya, making her stop crying, "Enough of that! You're not a part of the Western Military anymore! You're one of us- now we have to go tell the others!!!"

 

The General had answered his reciever and yelled at Catherine about not reporting in like she was ordered too- but stopped when she explained that her cover was blown. Slumping into his chair he heard her plead to have the escort sent their immediately. He took a deep breath and told her, "One of the escorts is within the city right now- that is all I can do," and he hanged up the receive and redialed it, "General to Death Knight 1 . . . you have a package to pick up in your sector. Retrieve and send to home immediately and safely."

 

Aside from all of the static the answer came back, "Sure thing boss man . . . I mean, Death Knight 1 will retrieve the package and deliver, sir!"

 

"So according to the calander, along with what Lt Tyler has told us, the Western section of this planet holds a festival every year at the same time of the year. This festival is the only time the Western Military will be weak enough for us to take down without obese casualties; both supers and humans. I say we attack then, in two weeks." Koya said as he marked the date in the top right hand of the map. Turning around everyone was nodding their head and agreed- the date and stratagem was set . . . now all there was to do was wait.

 

"And until then everyone will train for a week and a half to advance themselves as far as possible. Then a half weeks rest before the final assault." Josh stated as Yaming leaned against him.

 

"Then the General goes down. Their happiest time will b-"

 

"WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!!!" Lora screamed at the top of her lungs as she slammed the door open and ran to Koya in a complete histeria. She was flustered and no one understood what she was trying to get out between the paniced gasps . . .

 

"What are you trying to say Lora?" Lt Tyler asked as he looked up from the desk.

 

"Catherine is a SPY!!!"

 

A pen dropped from Kallen's hand was the only sound heard after Lora spoke the truth. Eyes grew wide with fear and shock as realities cruel twist dawned on them. The plan, the carefully laid out plan was now completely ruined! No one could move or even breath as they stood, their minds vainly attempting to register this ghastly news . . .

Alphonse looked out at the city he now knew to be the base of the Northern military. It had taken a lot to find out that much but now he had to find them. He'd finally made it. He pulled the hood of his cloak down and looked at it. Definitely not the majestic place he'd expected to see. Though he figured it would look like any other city. He stepped up to entrance of the city.

"How to go about getting in? The place looks pretty tight." Alphonse thought as he examined the walls of the city. He could force his way in, but that wouldn't be wise. He saw the Main Gate around a bit. It appeared to be open so he moved there. The place didn't look very friendly. Best to move around without drawing attention. He passed through the main gate, and was briefly stopped by a guard. Alphonse assured him he didn't have any weapons or abilities in fighting and said he would only be in the city for a little bit. The soldier, obviously new in the position, let him in.

"Now where to find them. This obviously isn't the Northern military's base. They wouldn't try to keep the city so closed off." Alphonse thought as he moved through the town.

[Blake]

Black walked in casually "Seems you all found out. Yesm she is." Black said simply. "I found out right before we entered the city. I tried to take her out myself, but I couldn't. Now she has ran. Should've told Sky, Destined, Darren, and Kyba, but I wanted to prove myself." Black stared forward blankly and thought "She just told me to call her on this phone." He held out her phone "Under 'Doctor'. She figured out my abilities unfortunately."

Everyone looked amoungst each other when Black had said Catherine was on the run. IN a burst of energy everyone began moving and shouting to each other- all with the goal of capturing Catherine. Alamos had pulled the alarm and told teh entire base to capture Catherine. Koya was shouting to everyone to go out into the city and "FIND HER!"

 

As he shouted Lora looked back at Aya, who was shivering in fear, and gave a smile. "It's ok. I won't tell . . ." she assured her. Lora then turned to Koya and tried to get his attention, wanting to help in the search. But her pleas weren't heard as Koya talked to Josh and yaming about how far she could have gone; the end idea was that she most likely couldn't fly or teleport, so she was still within the city. In a final nod everyone was ordered to flush out the city in an attempt to find her, but not draw enough attention that the military in the immediate area would become suspicious.

 

With the base quickly becoming empty Lora glanced over to Aya and got an idea, "Do you know where she could have gone?"

[Blake]

Sterling was outside with naught but a gun in his back pocket.. He, while Black's creation, was no super "What's a girl like you doing in this town?" HE asked Catherine "And who are you talking ot?" He waas dressed in jeans, t-shirt, tennis shoes, and a backwards cap. HE, unlike White, had his own mind.

 

Black followed. Why had he covered Destined? He would have to sort it out "Find her!" He yelled

 

White dialed the number. He was goin' to talk to "Doctor"

Catherine, now in the very heart of the city, has been confronted by another of Black's creations- a man named Sterling. As he asks a question hte danger he is in doesn't dawn on him . . . and never does. In a swift motion he is stabbed through the heart and is no longer amoungst the living- returning to his home in Black's notebook. With a smirk the assassine looks over to Catherine's blood splattered face. "Sorry to keep ya waitin' love, just got 'er . . ."

 

The man was black jeans and a white shirt, though now stained in blood. A charming smile appeared under his dark brown eyes as he looked around at the crowd as they stared at him. "Nothin' ta see 'er folks," with a twitch of his hand the water in the air became a small dagger which he held as if to attack, "move along . . ."

[Andx]

Alphonse had took notice of the odd confrontation, or rather the group that had formed around it. Someone had just been killed. Maybe those two were members of the Northern Military. Alphonse decided to follow the two from a safe distance. He knew they would probably be mad that he didn't simply reveal himself but there was a chance that they weren't friendly, or part of the Northern Military. Alphonse took note of the water dagger formed by the man. If push came to shove he probably had a shot against that man.

[Blake]

Black had walked out looking for Catherine, and seen Alphonse. Black thought. he warped behind Alphonse silently, and warped back, but not before seeing Catherine, Sterling's dead body, and some guy. "Who are you?" He asked Alphonse Angrily.

 

White Dialed "Doctor" From his hiding place.

 

OOC: Gotta go

As Black asked his question the man beside Catherine looked over in their direction, but it was unclear if he was looking at them or not. He glanced around, so they were forced to assume he had not spotted them. The water dagger vanished and he turned to Catherine, "I believe we should go . . ."

[Andx]

"It depends on your military allegiance. Depending on your answer I'm either your ally or you worst enemy." Alphonse said in response to the appearance of the stranger. He maintained his calm as usual. Alphonse did hope this man was with the Northern military.

"Do you mind leaving those people alone?" What did they do to you" Zamochi asks.

"Hmm may be i,ll just lop of his head, What do yuo think Black ." Josh said with a smile as he came out of his hidding place 10 feet be hind the group.

The Death Knight looked back at Zamochi and gave a small laugh, "Sir . . . I'd suggest you mind yer own buisness," the man then took Catherine's hand and stepped in front of her, "Shall we love?"

 

He began to walk away- completely ignoring Zamochi and anyone else . . .

"You're not getting me." I'm here for her. She has something we need

The Death Knight continued to walk, completely ignoring Zamochi. The man smiled to Catherine as if everything was normal, "Have yew 'ad lunch yet my dear?"

 

This man was either an idiot . . . or supremely confident of his abilities to talk like he was on a date. The crowd had long since disbursed, feeling a battle was on its way- and with one being a super, the other was most likely one as well and that only spells disaster.

[Zimiri of the Muse]

"Wow you are an idiot" Zamochi says and cracks his whip at the idiots ear.

[Jake the Sage]

Sand from the ground leaps up and catches the whip as it nears the man's head. With a smile he glances back and Zamochi can see the blood lust in his eyes, "I would love ta toy with yew. But I 'ave direct orders to get this little lady back home safe 'n sound . . . 'till then . . ."

 

With the last words the gourn underneath Zamochi rose up and covered his feet, making it nearly impossible to move. The man continued to walk away, but now at a more hurried pace- knowing if there was one, there'd be more, and he didn't want too much time waisted senslessly slaughtering the idiots.

"Ah-ha-ha and its my job t make sure she comes with me " Juts then a huge volley of normal arrows come from the sky above them but something is different about the,. then comes a normal volley right behind it, and still another volly of pure light comes down, and at the back a pure black volley comes down. Then a twisting arrow comes down like a huge spear head. It is twisted in colors green, white and black.

The man turned and the arrows were sent back in the direction they came from. Giving a sigh he held his hand to his face, chanting. The shadow lying on the ground behind him rose and tranmutated into another one of him. Nodding the doupleganger took Catherine in his arms and leapped away. Removing his jacket the man laughed, "So I's guess yew 'onestly want ta die . . ."

"No, i honestly wanna kick you ass then go get her so lets get this over with okay."

ROOFTOP:

Sieta sees that zam will be okay and chases the droppel ganger shooting her twist arrows every few seconds.

OOC: twist arrows are light dark and shield smasher

The man smiles as Sieta is suddenly pulled from the rooftop and slammed to the ground between the two. "I think yew might need some 'elp. Now lets start 'ith names. I is one of the Death Knight- Shane. And yew?"
