Struggle Of Powers

"What are your other powers?" He asked curious. then he chuckled. "And I'm not that "Fat" But-" He whipped out in his book and wrote in it. 10 3 feet tall humanoids appeared "THEY are."

"Will you guys stop it!?" Destined said coldly to his comrades. He had his arms folded at he was staring at them with a serious expression.

[Blake]

Black stared dumbfounded at Destined and snapped his fingers. The Humanoids faded "What's the problem, boss?" He asked.

[Tempest Dahlia]

"All of this is extremely important. In case you haven't noticed we could all be dead soon. Evil or not, we all want our lives right?" He said.

Omar woke up and yawned. "What a night and what a dream." Omar then got up and shot a ball of light in the sky to brightened the day.

 

Black had been wandering the woods when he had seen Aya and Catherine. He was about to check on Aya, why he didn't know, but he had a soft spot for her since she fell. Then he saw Catherine walk off. "Why would she leave her all alone?" Black thought as he followed her- warpping so as to avoid being seen.

 

As Catherine dialed the phone Black was close enough to hear the conversation and he was shocked, no . . . appalled. He was evil, but the General was worse. He considered destroying her phone and then a better plan came to mind. Writting in his book Black recreated White, but dressed in Jeans and a T-Shirt. "Take that phone," he whispered, pointing at Catherine before warpping away.

 

White obeyed his commands and warped in, grabbed the phone, and quickly warped as far away as possible (AKA In his line of sight); the summon thenheaded to Black. By then Black had almost reached Destined. White held the phone to his mouth and in a voice different from Black's voice, with a deep breath, he spoke "I will kill you" before snapping it closed.

 

Destined had been sitting outside, looking at Lucifer as Black ran towards him. "DESTINED!!!"

 

Black warped in front of him and sat, panting, "Bad news!"

 

With Catherine's cover potentially blown before she could get any real information on the Supers. But what would Destined do once he foudn there was a spy amoungst the group? We will wait and see . . . For now everyone else is finally getting up and readying themselves for the new day. Zamochi led Sieta, a young lady who had arrived during the night, over to Koya and introduced her, "Hey Koya! Do you remember Sieta?

 

"Of course I remember Sieta bro. You think I'd forget your girlfriend?"

 

Zamochi gave a nervious laugh, not being used to htinking about him and Sieta as a couple, "Well I fell kind of out of place here . . . do you mind introducing Sieta and I to everyone?"

 

"Hmmm . . . sure why not," Koya stood up and, not even carring if anyone heard or not, called out, "Everyone! This is my brother Zamochi and his grilfriend Sieta." He turned his attention to his brother, "That better?"

 

"Bad new like what?" Destined said, slightly irritated, as he put Lucifer back on. White ran up to Black and handed him the phone. "Thank you," Black told White and as he snapped his fingers White faded, "This phone . . . Catherine was using it . . . She was talking to some General wanting to Kill you!"

 

Destined chuckled, already knowing what General that Catherine was talking about. "Well of course he's trying to kill me! But why was Catherine talking to him?"

An ingenius plan hatched in his head.

 

"I don't know. I was walking around and I saw that Aya girl with Catherine. I was going to see if-" He considered his words "I could mess with them. Catherine walked off so I followed her. She began talking to the general, and White stole the phone mid-conversation. So . . . this ins't an problem for you?"

 

"No . . . It's alot more benificial. Because now I have leverage with Catherine" Destined told Black as White disappeared from sight. An ingenius plan hatched in his head- he would blackmail Catherine in order to get close enough to the General . . . and then end both of their lives! With Destiend thinking of his blackmail idea, Sky crossed his arms in deep thought, "Wait . . . wasn't that General guy the one who wanted to execute you!?

 

"THAT is who this is?" Black asked Sky "I thought that he didn't know Destined was alive?" Black chuckled, "Well, this will be fun."

 

"Don't get me wrong," Destined said in a solmn voice, "The general is not to be taken lightly. He still has the influential power to kill all of us."

 

"Can't be that bad if he hides behind subordinates," Black mused aloud, not taking Destined seriously, "I do not consider anyone a leader unless they are on the frontlines. Say, Destined, have you tried the phone?"

 

<@Gaara- Oh you would be suprised . . .>

 

"I don't need to," Destined said, "In fact . . . I have a mission for you. I'm quite sure you guessed what it is already."

 

"Yes I do- Find out more about Catherine." Black said as he gave a smile, "So pretty much stalking her."

 

"Ha! Lucky." Sky sat in mid air still thinking about something.

 

"No doubt she'll be on guard a few days. but the harder part of the mission . . . I need you to confront her as soon as possible." Destined warned. Black was shocked, "Confront her?! I sent White to ROB her!!! I didn't even do it myself!"

 

Then Black realized, Catherine had never seen White before, and thus wouldn't know it was himself who ordered the phone stolen, "What should I do? Should I confront her in front of the others?"

 

"No . . . I need White to confront herand tell her that he really likes her and he's been admiring and stalking her for awhile now." Destined mused as he gave a grin. Have White confess his 'love' to her? What on Earth can Destined be thinking!?

 

Jerry woke his son up as his wife prepared their things. Once packed up they walked over to Koya, Zamochi, Sieta, Josh and Yaming. THey gave a nod and waited for everyone else to get ready- not even being able to phathom the secrets being held behind their backs . . .

 

"Creepy . . . I like it!" Black yelled as he pulled out his book out, "I'll put him on it the moment I see her. Anyways Sky, where have you been?" He asked the floating Super.

 

"Ah, just around the pacifist . . . No fun really."

 

"Well it must have been better than being virtually useless. I warp, use telekinesis, and summon. That's it." He stared away. "I hate that I lost most of my powers . . ."

 

"So would you mind explaining what happened to you?" He flaoted around carefree as he asked.

 

"Why are you so carefree all the time? Anyways, it happened because of my 'best Friend' . . . he had powers like me, but his could only be used in the pursuit of 'truth'. He stole them . . . he took mine away, similar to what Yaming did to Destined. The difference here was that he left me without most of mine. I could contol fire; among other things . . . but he doesn't have them either. He lost his completely and is now stuck at that age . . . his mind grows, but he does not . . . that was seven years ago," he said and the last word came with as much hatred and venom as you could imagine, "Samuel!"

 

Sky's expression changed to a more serious look, "Well . . . I'm sorry to hear about that." Sky quickly switched back to his normal look and started floating in the air again.

 

"Will you guys stop it!?" Destined said coldly to his comrades. He had his arms folded at he was staring at them with a serious expression. Black stared dumbfounded at Destined, "What's the problem, boss?"

 

"All of this is extremely important. In case you haven't noticed we could all be dead soon. Evil or not, we all want our lives right?" He said.

Josh sat their clueless as to what this party of people was doing, They were haveing a heated discussion but of what he knew not. "They look like an upset ant hill" Josh's laughed as he said it to Yaming.

Josh was still watching,but he would leave them alone. He was still thinking about going over, and finding out what they were doing ...and he thought he saw Catherine Phone...But Black wouldn't steal..Destined might, but Josh thought that was to petty of evil for him.

To Yaming Josh said " do you have a phone.... And do you have Catherine Number"

then to Save him self from a Question from her he Expalned, that he thought he saw Catherine Phone...with Black . "Call it if you do."

Omaru then looked at the bright sky. "Much better." He walked around the forest and saw everybody still laying down. "I'll be back." Omaru said walking on his own.

"So what exactly is your plan, Destined?" Black asked raising an eyebrow "Yes we want to live, but what are you hatching under that hat?" He gave a knowing grin

"Ha ha ha! Good one Black!" Sky laughed then took out a toothpick and put in in his mouth. "So how do go about this then Destined?"

He gave Sky a dead pan expression "You laugh to much, you light hearted fool." BLack said without emotion "Be more serious. But do elaborate Destined"

"..." Sky just started a Black with a black expression. "... You sure do love listening to yourself talk, Black. Ha ha ha!"

Lora gave a long stretch and scratched the back of her head as Kallen asked what they would do after the war was over. Lora thought for a moment and then smiled at Kallen' date=' "Well for one thing I'm going to find my dad. Then we are going to go back home," Lora looked down and then back at Kallen, "You can come with us if you want. I'm sure dad won't mind."

 

Lora stood up and fixed her hair, renewed with excitement about the idea of Kallen and everyone else living with them- like a very big, very unusual, family. She then saw Aya writting in her book, all alone, and walked over to her. Aya never noticed Lora sit down next to her as she was completely lost in thoughts about the General, and the unsetteling feeling she was being used. [i']"Why does Catherine need me to get something from Mr. Todou? And why doesn't she want anyone to know about my power? Is she using me . . . Is HE? Please don't let it be true . . ."[/i]. Sitting down quietly next to her Lora leaned over and read the first few lines, "You're a writter?"

 

While Lora was about to confront Aya, Todou was begining to question his position in the group. He had no powers, and thus was useless in a fight, and could only work on mechanical things. He went to Yaming to try and get some answers, "Yaming, I've been thinking, what would you like me to do? I mean I'm not of much use at all, except for working with technology I'm not very useful . . . and Kallen can lead you all through the Wesnter Military Base."

 

Yaming gave Todou a smile and patted him on the shoulder. Getting up she looked him in the eye with that too charming of a smile and gave him his answer, "You don't have to have a reason to stay with the people you care about. Kallen enjoys your company, and I am sure you enjoy hers. If you think you aren't doing any good here then you're wrong- you make Kallen happy and that is enough for us."

 

Catherine had walked away from Aya and pulled out a tranciever and made a call to the General, "Sorry to bother you sir, but do you have a way of contacting Destined? I need to talk to him in private, but I can't approach him infront of all these other supers."

 

"What!?" was the first and loudest thing from the other end, "You mean Destined is still alive!? He was supposed to be terminated a long time ago."

 

Within the Western Military base the General was begining to sweat bullets as he paced back and forth in his office, Andrew watching from a chair. Destined was alive!? How? He had been sent to the most remove part of the planet, where not even the plants could survive. Had he survived the 'exicution' by the soldiers he wouldn't of been able to go anywhere quick enough to escape dying by natural causes. And yet . . . his ears heard right when Catherine said he was still alive- this deeply troubled him until Andrew spoke his opinion.

 

"Sir, If I may be so bold. Perhaps Destined's survival is still not to be made advantage off."

 

The General whirrled around and his face grew red with anger, "Taken advantage off!? He could reveal secrets! Plans! Everything can be ruined!!!!" he slumped down into his chair and gave a long sigh. Years of planning could be ruined by one simple supers . . .

 

"Sir, Destined has no knowledge of any other activities other than his own; we had done a memory scan on him before sending him to his . . . ahem . . . 'death'. But now that he is with the other supers, and in Catherine and Aya's close observation, we can keep track of him. And surely he holds a grudge against you for trying to kill him."

 

The General have a chuckle and nodded his head, "That I have no doubt Andrew. But how is that an advantage?"

 

"He will come here to get his revenge. Our new secret 'weapons' are nearly complete . . . we could easily finish him off and obtain the 'project' we once lost." The General's eyes lite ip when the prospect of retreiving the lost project was uttered. His hands wringed around themselves as long discarded plans became a reality once more. He took hold of the reciever and clicked the button- sending out his message to the spy.

 

"Listen closely Catherine. Destined is a rouge employee of the Western Military- and a dangerous enemy. Do not let him discover your identity no matter what the circumstances are. And if he does- eliminate him quietly. You will continue to observe them and report back to me with any important findings. Also . . . it is now a part of your mission to help these 'rebels' to wage war against the Western Military. Understood?"

As Lora walked away Kallen sat there and thought about what she'd said, *Would Lora really let me stay with her? Does she really want that?* Kallen stood up and walked over to Koya, "Koya, can you tell me... what was Lora like when I left?" Kallen was looking at Koya with such a pleading look on her face that Koya wouldn't be able to keep every last detail from her.

 

Aya was startled when Lora said that she was a writer. "AHH!!" Aya fell over and dropped her notebook and pencil. "ow ow ow... who's there?" Aya was lying on the ground and started to push herself up.

 

Todou wasn't happy with Yaming's response, "You don't seem to understand I'm tired of not ebing able to help! Can I at least make some tools for you and some of the others?" Todou was looking at Yaming waiting for her response and at the same time already thinking of a way he could actually help... he'd make himself a whole suit that he could use to fight.

 

Catherine was still away in the woods and she was furious, *Dammit who was that man who took my phone? I can't go get Aya's to use because then Aya will ask me where mine went. Looks like I'll have to find him the hard way.* Catherine walked off away from where Aya was, *She's not a weakling, she can protect herself, it's just that she's shy and gets startled easily. But her power... with her power she could stop anyone, at least for a short time.* She continued walking in the direction that the man went not knowing that once he was out of sight he'd warped.

 

Natalie was still looking for Destined, she wanted to talk to him and Lucifer in private and especially without Cougar watching over her shoulder. That's why she'd left him sleeping against the tree. She saw him standing in a group with some of the others and walked over to him, "Hey! Destined! Can I speak to you in private for a bit?"

Omaru looked around the forest and heard a growling. "Something told me to never go out own my own. No wonder what kind of creatures are in this forest." Omaru heard the exact same growling sound as it came closer and closer.

 

Omaru ran to the others and told them we have to get out of here quick fast, but nobody would listen.

"Hi . . . my name is Lora. Did you do this?" she said while picking up the book and pencils, not noticing how startled Aya was.

 

"How was she without you? One word . . . hysterical. I remember she cried for two nights straight before we convinced her you'd come back. She really is attached to you."

 

Yaming was about to answer Todou, stating he could do as he please to help the group, but was stopped by Omar yelling. A loud thud was heard and a machine rose out of the forest.

 

"Everyone! We have to go NOW!!!" Josh yelled as the machine moved towards the group.

Omar then ran ahead of everybody but stopped to wait for his comrades. Omar then had a flashback of what happened to his people as well. Just like back home... Omar thought to himself as he kept on running.

[Blake]

"What is it?" Black called to Josh, before warping closer to him, then he repeated in a regular voice "What's wrong?"

[Jake the Sage]

Josh looked at the machine as it neared and shook his head, "I'm not sure . . . but we should get inside the city quick."

 

Everyone agreed and began to head inside the city limits.

[Blake]

"Alrght." Black ran off to join Destined and Sky before heading into the city.

[Damiano Tosē]

"Something told me the forest would be a bad idea." Omar said running into the city limits.

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

Two guards stood before the group as the walked up to it's gates. "You there, who might you be! If you don't answer right and quick I will have you all beheaded and sent to the fire pits so that your bodies may be burned and turned into ash to fill our great skys!" He said, threateningly

[Jake the Sage]

The man was shoved aside as Yaming ran through the gate, followed by everyone else. Once a good distance inside, and out of sight from the gaurds, they looked back to see the machine scanning around and walking away. Lora blinked and then looked at everyone, "I don't think it was even trying to hurt us."

 

"Maybe," Koya answered back.

Black chuckled and warped behind the guards "Are you sure?" He asked "I beg to differ." He began to walk into the city
