Black addressed the whole group. "Hello. I'm Black," he gave a soft smile, "Nice to meet you all and, might I ask . . . What rebel group?"

 

"Names Omar," Omar showed his ring which glowed a bright water blue, "I guess your the new addition to the rebels huh? Just be friendly and help when others need it most." He then addressed Black, "Most people choose to work alone but like it or not we handle our situations together."

 

"I'm a rebel?" he said with a dumbfounded look, pointing at himself.

 

"Well your standing amongst the greatest heroes of all time aren't you?" Omar looked around and saw everybody that stood beside him, "I guess your one of us now."

 

"Well . . . this is true . . ." Black said meekly. He clutched is book as he spoke "So whats the plan?" internally he laughed while thinking, "I can't wait."

 

Todou acknowledged Catherine and Aya with a nod of his head and continued working on the equipment in front of him, "The sooner I finish this the sooner Kallen will be safe."

 

"I've done many terrible things..." Destined said, "But l also want to play a part in ending the general- I mean war!" He said, blushing. What a careless mistake! "So, are we on the same side?"

 

Sky perked up hearing Destined's and Black's voice and set foot on solid ground again, "Hey you guys!" he said walking towards them with a smile, "Why so early? Well, it doesn't really matter, things here have gotten quite a bore."

 

As Sky walked over to them Black warped next to him, continuing his good boy ruse "Hey Sky! How've things been?" then he spoke to Destined, "You've done evil!?"

 

"Black . . ." Destined said closing his eyes, "Be quiet! They can probably see right through you. There's no need to be extra . . ."

 

"Hmph . . . wish you had told me," he answered, toning his act down a bit, "Now, I don't trust you as much."

 

Black was trying to preying on the feelings of the others in the group. But they had already seen past his, and Destined's, little rouse when they began to act all happy and cheerful. Koya and Akima scowled at them and Lora could only shake her head. How could anyone fall for something like that? Luckily for Destined and Black, their cover wasn't exposed for one simple fact- Aya. She was so to see so many nice people that she ran over to Lora, but tripped and fell. She hit the ground, hard, and her notepad and pencil fell out of her pack. Aya's eyes welled with tears, but she refused to cry infront of all the nice people. Instead she picked herself up and sat on her knees, and, keeping her head down, apologized, "I'm so sorry for my clumsiness, I-I didn't mean to . . . um . . . ah . . ." She was so embarassed that she couldn't finish her sentences.

 

Lora knelt down beside Aya and picked up some of her things and smile while handing them back, "Its ok," her eyes traveled down to the notepad, which had open when it hit the ground, and say the beautifully drawn pictures, "Wow! Did you do this?"

 

Black walked over to Aya and crouched down, arms on his legs. "You okay?" He asked in a clear, concerned voice. "Need some help? Let me help."

 

Josh watched Aya with some concern and then turned his attention back to the real raeson why they where all there . . . would/could the rebels win in this war? Or was more military might needed? "Hey . . . does everyone think we can win with our present force, or does someone have a plan to kill off the General?" Josh asked while he looked up and then closed his eyes, waiting for an answer. Destined was still in the corner, his eyes covered by the shadow of his mysterious hat.

"Of course we have a plan."

 

Josh turned to Destined and asked in a cool, calm mannor, "Well? What is our plan?" he then smiled, "Also . . . where can I get a hat like that?"

 

Lucifer grinned at the last statement. "Believe me, you don't want him on your head," Destined said looking at Natalie and smiling, "As for the plan . . . I believe the plan would be to find out all we can first?"

 

"I thought the plan was to join forces with that other rebel army?" Yaming said as she looked up at Josh. For the past few minutes she had been laying her head down on his lap, almost like it was a pillow. Using so much of her power had really put a strain on her. And though she was concious, she wasn't able to move much or even fight.

 

"What is the deal with your hat Destined? You never told me." Black said, looking away from Aya.

 

"What do you mean?"

 

"Well, it spits things out. It's ALIVE, and quite frankly... it scares me." He stared at Lucifer as he awaited Aya's response. Lora gave a chuckle as Black said this. Though the thing was alive and very well dangerious, being afraid of it?

 

"Ah! I see. You're scared of him," Destined grinned, "Don't worry . . . he dosen't bite." For emphasis, he rubbed Lucifer's 'face.' As soon as he reached the mouth Lucifer's mouth opened in a flash, attempting to bite off Destined's hand. He moved it away just as quick.

"Ok, so he does bite!" He said, laughing.

 

"It tried to eat your hand," Kim said as she watched the 'creature' move in it's 'masters' hands. She was disturbed by the fact that Destined wore it on his head without any fear. "Are you sure its safe? What if it attacks you?"

 

"Oh, don't you worry about me. Lucifer wouldn't dare do that, would you Lucifer?" He placed his hand by Lucifer's mouth. Now, the hat didn't open his mouth, almost as if he were scared.

 

Koya walked in front of Destined and then turned to face everyone else. "ENough playing around . . . I say we try and find out more about these Legendarys- since they seem to be our best bet of beating the General and his army. So I vote for a break in to the Military base. Or storming it . . . whichever sounds more likely to work."

Aya was still on her knees with tears streaming down her face, and she was stunned into silence when Black got down to try and help her. She could feel a dark power resonating from him. *What is this? It feels so... bad. Why do I get the feeling that he's bad? I-I can't move... why can't I move?* Her body had frozen tight, because of her power she had a connection with anyone she was near and her connection with Black was telling her to be scared of him.

 

Catherine noticed that Aya had frozen and used her power to focus on Aya's thoughts and understood immediately. She crouched next to Aya and looked up at Black with a false concerned look on her face, "What did you do to her? Why can't she move?"

 

Cougar called out to Sky again, "Hey Sky can you come here. Natalie wants to talk to you." Then Cougar heard Catherine's accusation and turned to look at Catherine, Aya, and Black. *What the hell is going on?*

 

Akima was next to Kallen and stood stunned, both of them were thinking, what was going on?

Eden looked to Lee and then back to Koya... "That may not be the best Idea..." He coughed and little and let out a sigh of breath. "Look we been in one of those damn blasted bases, Those Vaults are locked down tight as a rock. And the only way in to those things is..." He paused for a moment. "Well you might not like how to get in."

Koya looked at Black with a stern grimmace, but then shook his head. He hadn't noticed anything off about Black offering his assistance to Aya- and he had been watching Black, Destined, and Sky very closely since they got back. AS Koya stepped to calm the situation someone beat him to it.

 

"I didn't see him do anything," Lora said as she placed a hand on Aya's soulder, making her 'unfreeze', "And I was beside her the entire time."

Catherine let her body visibly relax, "Well, I'm sorry I'm just very worried about her." But in her mind, *This one is as evil as Destined, what should I do? If Destined recognizes me , we're done for.*

 

Aya collapsed against Lora when she unfroze, she was still partially stunned, but she was in control. And she was grasping onto Lora's arm with all her might, and she was still shaking.

 

Akima watched as Aya clung to Lora with all her might and wondered what was with this shy girl.

Lora gave a smile as she tried to hide her emberasshment. She looked around and then to Josh, "So what are we going to do?"

 

Josh waqs pacing back and forth, having heard what Eden stated earlier. Yaming was watching him as he nerviously fidgeted and muttered to himself. Lora called him again and he looked over to her, "Hu? What was that Lora?"

 

"What are we going to do?" she repeated in a very annoyed tone.

 

"We are going to go and ally ourselves with the seperate rebel army!" Yaming said as she stood up, her legs now being able to support her. Josh stopped pacing and looked over to her, as she smiled and nodded her head. He gave a small laugh and nodded his head.

 

"So its agreed!" Koya clapped his hands and then rubbed them together, "Finally . . ."

 

"So we leave tonight or tomorrow?" Jerry said as he rubbed his son's hair.

Yaming smiled and watched as Josh got up and went off for a walk as the night sky began to dominate over the light- hopefully not a metaphore for things to come . . .

 

As she tried to go to sleep images and flashes of her past bubbled up and would not let her get back to sleep. A scream made her shoot straight up and she could feel her heart pounding. She looked around at the rest of the group, all in their various stages of sleep, "Was it only in my head?"

 

She got up and held her head, trying to remember were she had heard the scream before. "I wonder if Josh is still out on his walk? Better go find him . . "

Josh had not walked far from camp but he walked in the shadows, watching these people, who he was going to go to war with. " Can they stop the General or watch my back?" he thought to himself.

 

Frowning Josh mumbeled too himself, "I'll have too be ready or I might see Natasha sooner than expected," he then turned silent and as still as stone. Just watching these supers . . . NO! These friends talk and interact with each other. Josh gave smile as he leaned against a tree. He spoke to a person who was not there, but knew that could hear him, "You would have liked these friends . . ."

"So you still talk to her?" Yaming said as she walked from behind the tree. She leaned next to Josh and then put her head on his shoulder, giving a long sigh. Everyone was bussy getting ready for bed, while some had already fallen asleep. "I wish she could have meet everyone here," she thought about it, "well . . . at least most of the people here."
