Destined appeared in front of a huge, corperate building. "What are they hiding in here...?"

As he walked up the steps, he was greeted by two huge, deadly robots.

-STATE YOUR BUSINESS.-

"My business...? Hmm... Let me get back to you on that..."

-...ILLOGICAL, YOU ARE TRESPASSING ON GOVERNMENT PROPERTY. YOU HAVE 5 SECONDS TO VACATE THE PREMISES. 4. 3.2.1...-

Destined smiled. "Or what?"

-PREPARING TO EXTERMINATE.- Both robot's hands turned into laser beams.

"Bring it," Destined said, not budging...

As the robots cannons began to charge to full capacity an order over the intercom was hear and both withdrew their weapons. Stepping aside the Door swooshed open and no other means of delay were spotted. To go in or stay behind?

With Destine pondering over his decisions the General was facing his own choices. Hearing Kallen plea for Todou's sentance to be revoked disguised him. He would rather strangle the traitor with his own bare hands than have him be sent to hell by someone else. In his rage he struck Kallen across the face with the back of his hand hard enough to know her to the ground. As he seethed in hatred something began to come to him, words long forgotten began to bubble up from the deepest wells of memory. weapon . . . destroy . . . opposing army . . . spread forces . . . crush enemies . . . The thought intruiged him and he turned to Andrew, "Could you improve on the Radiant Wave Surger?"

"Only if I have the original Blueprints. Otherwhise, my general, I risk destroying the device all together."

The General knew full well that there was no "orignal blueprints" and it had been kept secret that it was only in Todou's memory lied the secret to the device. Grunting in fustration and idea came to mind, "Kallen . . . my dear Kallen," the general spoke soothingly as he held his hand out for her. Once she had taken it he hoisted her up and brushed the strands of hair out of her face, "You truly want Todou to be on your commit, don't you? You don't need to say it . . . I can see it in your eyes. I will personally release him myself and give him his newest assignment." Overwhelmed with happiness Kallen embraces the General and thanks him over and over again, not stopping the tears of joy streaming down her face. As the General patted her head an ominous glint shone in his eyes, "Of course my dear . . ."

Will the General release the tradorous creator of Kallen's weapon? Or is something more sinister in the workings? This is all moot for Lora, Akima and Koya as they determine a way to rescue Kallen from the fate she has chosen. Sleeping soundly Lora tosses in her sleep, clutching the jacket handed to her by Kallen. With Lora asleep Koya and Akima are finally able to discuss their options. Akima had recently suggested that when they finaly see Kallen, that they will be on opposite sides and had asked his opinion. "She'd have no problem attacking me or you if she percived it as 'for our own good'. Yet . . . if she strikes out against Lora I will NOT hesitate to take her down. But for now we have to find some way to break into the complex and at least get to her, if we can't even do that then there is no point wondering if we'll have to fight her."

ooc: Jake the stuff in bold wouldn't fit Kallen's character. She's not that submissive even to the General.

Kallen thanked the General and walked away to the place that LT. Tyler had told her were her living quarters. When she sat down at the desk in her room she replayed what had happened and remembered the General's question to Andrew, ..."Could you improve on the Radiant Wave Surger?"

"Only if I have the original Blueprints. Otherwhise, my general, I risk destroying the device all together." Kallen almost laughed at the thought of the brat trying to work out the weapon. *He wouldn't have a clue... I only know how to keep it clean and working, I can't upgrade it... but before I escaped Todou had been talking about making it able to be used for long and wide range... and even adding a float unit!* Kallen smiled at the thought of being able to fly, "Now that would be worth the upgrade."

LT. Tyler overheard her say that last bit out loud accidentially and went to find the General. He did and brought up his concerns, "Sir Lady Stadtfeld is extremely independent... I'm afraid we won't be able to fully control her. Also sir why do you want me to stay with her so much I mean... anytime she leaves her room isn't that a bit much, I mean she came to us of her own accord."

Akima sat next to the sleeping Lora and looked to Koya, "So what are we gonna do about Kallen? Now that we know that she's Lora's older sister we can't just leave her there." Akima saw the question on Koya's face, "Lora was talking in her sleep and she let it out that Kallen was her older sister. Well have you got a plan other than busting in grabbing her and busting out?"

ooc: Jake don't forget that you're controlling Koya for now.

Sitting back down in his chair the general revealed a pipe and stuffed it full of tobacco and began to smoke. "I agree with you. Soon we will have the perfect weapon to destroy all of the other armies and conquer this world," growing serious he leaned forward in his chair and placed his hands in front of his mouth, "But I need you to do an assignment for me . . ."

The General glared as Lt Tyler barged into the room without announcing himself. In the office Lt Tyler saw a young boy in a violet hat and suit, jet black, shoulder length hair, and two bright red eyes. The General coughed and turned to Destine, "Allow me to talk with my liutenant for a moment, would you?" he said as Destine was walked out of the room. Now alone with his liutentant the General whirrled around and struck him down with a fierce punch, "You fool! Next time announce yourself!" he said with a final swift kick.

"While it is true that she came on her own accord that does not mean she wont try to escape again! I assigned you to 'guard' her all the time to prevent that- and yet here you are talking to me instead of doing . . . your . . . JOB!" He slamed his fist on the table, making a loud thud. "As for controlling her . . . Andrew?"

The bookshelf next to the liutenant spun around to reveal a giant tv and once it flickered to life Andrew appeared. Behind Andrew was the infamous Doctor Todou, strapped to a table with a device on his head, "Yes my General?"

"How is the procedure coming?"

Andrew grimmiced and pushed his glasses back a bit, "He is proving to be stronger willed than I had first summized. I will require another 3 hours in order to excract the information from him."

"Good . . . continue as planned."

Turning back arounf the General scoffed at his liutenants horrified expression, "Anything to win my good boy, and that is what I plan on doing. Now if there is no further questions? Leave- and if you speak of this you will be labled a traitor and die too"

With the Liutenant back on his way to Lady Stiedfield's room the last few words of the General kept playing in his had, 'and die too'?

"Come back in," and Destine returned, "Now your assignment is to 'assinate Doctor Todou once Andrew as acquired the memories he needs. Understood?"

A sinister plot of betrayle is underfoot in the Military Complex! With plans to brainwash Kallen and make her into a mindless weapon, can her real friends find a way to save her!?

"Well I have been on contact with another group of Supers for quite some time now. I am sure if we go and plead our case to them they will help us strom the Complex," Koya jumped down from the tree and landed next to Akima, "But they are a few days away and we'll need to hurry."

Lt. Tyler was truly sorry for interrupting such an important meeting, but wondered what they were xtracting from Doctor Todou and who they were going to kill. He started to worry not only for his own life but for Kallen's. He had fallen for her the moment she'd walked through the gates.

Kallen was in her room making some minor adjustments to the Radiant Wave Surger when there was a knock at the door, "Come in." Lt. Tyler walked in and told Kallen that Doctor Todou would be arriving in a few days and then left still thinking about what the General had said.

Akima nodded, "Alright, let's go... we don't have any time to waste." He stood up and stretched, "I'll carry Lora, you lead the way." He pick up Lora gently so as to not disturb her sleep.

Lora burried her head in Akima's shoudler as he lifted her up, the coat hanging around her like a blanket. Akima walked towards the western mountains with the sun to his back.

As Koya and Akima begin their long trek to find those who might provide them with a chance to save Kallen the General has other plans cooking for her. "You know me too well . . . I want to you kill Lt Tyler as well. He has, unfortunately, become a liability that I will not allow."

A chillruns down Lt Tyler's spine as, unknowingly to him, his own death warrant is signed by his superior. Looking around he hears something odd in the background, something he hasn't heard before . . .

With twists and turns and all shorts of happenings the peaceful and dull life in the secret Supers Camp would seem like paradise to alot right now. Hanging up come washed close Yaming looks over to Tarr and asks for some assistance.

Kallen woke up in her room and was happy as possible in the place she now considered her prison as it was the day that Todou was to arrive. She got up and dressed in her best uniform (Lt. Tyler got her some new clothes during the timeskip) and looked at herself in the mirror. She was pleased with what she saw and wondered what Lt. Tyler would think. That thought brought up some resentment in her mind, over the last few days the Lt. had been around every time she left her room whether he was asking for other names of people to add to their team or to simply ask her for a walk and share memories of their respective pasts. Kallen didn't blame him since she could tell that he was uneasy to keep coming up with excuses to be with her and the fact that she knew that he was probably acting on direct orders from the General. With that she left her room and headed toward the General's office and not surprisingly Lt. Tyler appeared next to her less than a full minute later. "So are you excited to see Doctor Todou again?" Kallen nodded and smiled, "Extremely, you see he's all the family I have left." In her mind she added, *Except for Lora that is.* They arrived outside the General's office and knocked on the door.

Akima was following Koya in the mountains while now carrying Lora on his back in a piggy-back style and she was awake, "So Lora what do you think these people will be like?"

As Lt Tyler and Kallen entered the room they saw the General sitting behind his desk with a solmn look and Andrew behind him.

Has the General's plan succeded!? Has the dear doctor been slaughtered?

Lora thinks about it and then smiles, "I bet their all tall and slender with great cloths!" As they speak Koya makes them stop and points in front of him. Before their eyes was a hulking giant and a short man walking in the same direction they were.

With fates intertwining Yaming and tarr can hardly believe that in a few minutes they will have unexpected guests. "He knows that . . . but it doens't ease the pain any"

Yaming finished washjing cloths and used her powers to hang them up. For the weeks that she had been there Tarr still could not figure out how she could acomplish this.
