Akima stood up and turned to Lora, "Alright Lets go." He pick her up and carried her on her back and used Shinra Tensei to fire himself into the air with such force that he went at least 40ft into the air, "Whoa, Lora just point and I'll land there."

 

Kallen called to unit standing guard next to her, "What's going on?" The unit turned to her, "We don't know but we're moving now, no questions or complaints." Kallen nodded and stood up, *I just hope that it's not Lora, Koya, or Akima.* "Alright lets go." the last five units appeared surrounding Kallen in a protective formation and the 6 of them ran off onto the plains where they'd easily see anyone who followed them.

As the droids ran one by one they continued to disappear and nothing on radar could identify who or what was causing them to vanish without a trace. This secretive destroying of the machines was also unknowningly making it difficult for Lora and Akima to pin point where Kallen was. While in hte air Lora tried to hear anything that'd give her a hint on where they could be, "I cna't hear anything."

Meanwhile in who knows where Eden was just starting to finish his new Droids. He figured one was not enough and saw it fit to just do one more, but this one a little more advance then then the first one.

 

As for Omar and the Harpy, he eyes where dazed. "How dare you!" She screamed at Omar. "You killed it. you killed it!!!!" She walks up to him and grabs him by his shirt and lifts him up. "Look at what you did, what if killed a Human how would you feel?" She drooped Omar to the ground. "Your on your own now Human." She looked up and the swarm and started to back off in to the forest.

Akima smiled over his shoulder, "Then I'll just go straight." He angled himself so that they landed another 60ft ahead of where they started. "Can you sense anyone?"

 

Because all the Shadow units were so close to her Kallen saw that they were being destroyed by spears like the ones Fleur said she could make. Kallen then yelled to the units, "X-point shifting meneuver, activate your energy sensors!" They did as they were told and then could sense the spears coming so they easily dodged them all.

Koya emerged from the trees seing kallen in the middle of the shadow units. He smiled a evil smile and said. "Now its my chance to get a crack at you guys."

As the harpy made a motion to leave for the forest the giant eagle screeched and a wall of avians blocked her way. Weither she had a hand in its mates death was irrelavent to this creature, as it was blinded by rage and only slaughter would send it back to where it had been resting.

 

Meanwhile . . .

 

With two driods finished the General had ordered a viewing so that he could see the progress made by the good doctor.

 

In Other Places . . .

 

As Akima landed Lora couldn't hear the sounds of bending metal nor the shattering of glass. She didn't know if this was because whoever had destroyed the Shadow Unints had been caught or if it was simply they had ran out of driods to demolish. She looked as Akima as he spoke with wide eyes and a crooked grin, "Sense someone's energy? You're kidding right?"

 

While Akima and Lora were still ocnfused over Kallen's location, Koya had somehow managed to stumble across them as they awaited the spears of ice created by Fluer. Crouching up in a tree Koya looked for an opening but was stopped when a Shadow Unit's alarm went off. Ducking behind the tree, but still keeping an eye on them, he wondered if they had spotted him. The driod who's alarm had been tripped pointed to the west [not his direction] and then was silenced when a spear smashed through its head and it toppled over. Coming from the mist was a single person holding what could of been any number of things, a staff, a walking stick, a spear, a scepter, etc. One thing was clear . . . this person meant buisness.

Kallen and the Shadow units backed out of the mist and then took up and eye formation *Dammit why is Koya here.* She turned to the units, "Pull back I don't want to fight them!" The lead unit turned to Kallen, "You do understand that even if we are all destroyed you still have to report to the Base by noon tomarrow." Kallen whirled on the unit, "Of course I knew that if I didn't I would have destroyed you all back in the forest! Now let's go!" They turned and ran and within 5 minutes they could see the faint outline of the Base.

 

Akima smiled to Lora, "Sorry I thought that since you and Koya have similar powers you'd be able to sense one another... Looks like it's my job then." He focused a lot of energy then used Shinra Tensei to force the Mist up into the sky, but then his knees gave out and he fell to the ground, "Sorry Lora but it took a lot of power to move that mist since gravity has little power over it."

[Jake the Sage]

Lora nodded her head and then saw the people moving away from the mist. She pointed at them and they knew instantly that it was Kallen and the rest of the Shadow Units. While they were running after her they could see the outline of a giant base looming ahead and knew that there wasn't much time.

 

Continuing their race to save Kallen, though not knowing she is indeed allying herself with the droids, Lora glances to her left and can faintly make out a third figure running along with them. Not making any note of it she turned her attentions back to saving Kallen, chopping up the other figure as being Koya or possibly Fluer.

 

A Shadow Unit was suddenly destroyed as they approached the base, and only then did Lora realize that the person she mistook for Koya or Fluer was the one who had been throwing spear and destroying the units single handedly. The units where haulted when a barricade appeared out of the mist and completely blocked them off from their goal.

Koya was running atop the trees not worrying about being seen. He was losing them fast so he pumped out adrenaline. It had started as whit and this is good as he needs speed. He sees the units and they are still very cautious. He knows if they get inside all hope is lost. He jumps up high in the air and turns the adrenaline black. Now with super strength and weight he pulls out his fist and dives to the shadow units getting ready to smash their shield.

Kallen turned to the lead unit, " What is this barriers' range?" The unit paused for a moment, " it is exactly 27.394meters across and we are standing at it's center." Kallen nodded and they ran aound the barrier and continued to head for the base when suddenly the units stopped, "We have just recievd a communiction from the base. We are to defend against our persuers and you are to head for the base alone there is a team headed out to recover you as we speak... go!"

 

Akima saw everyone and stood up, "Lora I'll be right back but I have to do something to save Kallen and I can't have you too close. Please trust me." Akima smiled to Lora then unsed Shinra Tensei sending himself flying into the air so that he could land between the newcomer and Kallen.

The two droids stood there inactive as Eden showed the General. The first one was scrawny and bony with thin metal plates covering the chest and lower areas, wires scatered all over the place, a few green cybernetics implants in the head and body that where viable. The eyes was a single piece metal viser. The arms where normal with some flesh pealed off and replaced with some kind of metal. But the lags where completely replaced with thin spring like metal poles for lags. Obviously this was a light unit, not many parts, extended sight, cheap and fast. As for its cereal number it said Strogg BX-001.

 

As for the other one it seemed more defined. It stood at 7 feet tall while the other one at 5&1/2, it had gray more heavy duty armor. And unlike the first once no skin was showing other then its had, and that was half way covered. He unlike the other did not even have a trace of Green but more had a dark red glow to his implants, and as for both of its eyes as well. But just as like the first one it skin was pale and gray. And for its cereal number it said Strogg CX-002

While the harpy and Omar battled the enraged flock of birds the Shadow Units had been told to retaliate against those who had prevented and persude them for so long, while telling Kallen to head for the base herself. As Kallen bolted for her recovery group Akima had told Lora to stay back so he could attempt to save her. Specifically to stay back, but not to help destroy the Shadow Units that were no longer protecting Kallen. Lora looked shiftly left and right and snuck away to find the closest Shadow Unit.

 

Awaiting further commands and/or an action from their enemies the Shadow Units stayed close and scanned around them for any signs of life. Luckily for Lora she had recently learned to "fly" and stayed, literally, above their radars. While she silently floated overhead of the first Shadow Unit she stopped when his alert system went off as the apparitoin that had attacked them before came into view. Cloaked in a black veil Lora couldn't make out anything specific about the person, but could only see his/her eyes; though just barely through the mist. "Scum like you deserve to die . . ."

 

"Sir! The retrieval units have just been deployed to secure Kallen!" The droid reported as the General walked to his meeting with Eden. He glanced at the droid, which frozen in artifical terror, and then continued walking, "Good . . . keep me posted. We cannot lose her again!" He said as the automatic doors wooshed open and closed. Inside the lab of Eden he examined the two droids he had ordered built. The first one was for speed, obviously, with its light armor and more advanced optical circitry. Nodding his head as he looked them over he moved onto the other, which pleased him more than the last. An enormous droid with armor that the General doubted even a missle could pierce. He put his hand on the droids shoulder and felt to chill run down his spine as the icy cold feel of the armor hit him. Oh the opertinuties that awaited . . . but first. "You have done well Doctor Eden. Very . . . well."

[Freeman The Master]

Eden smiled with a sly grin at the General's remark, he kept his hands behind his back as a sign of respect to the inspection. "Now that you have them what are you going to do?"

She looked up and was shocked that this happened. She growled and grew ferrous. She turned back around to Omar.And walked over to him with a ferrous tone. "You did this Human. It is your falt that this happened and now you will Die." The Harpy Girl swang back her arms and flew forwarded tackling him to the ground and with her pining him.She brought one of her claws around his neck and the other one ready to strike for a finishing move.

[Jake the Sage]

The birds swooped down and struck the harpy as she attempted to attack and kill Omar. The birds continued to pummle her until she was removed forcibly by the massive assault. Rolling away the harpy could see the giant bird landing near her and almost making a challenge to her.

 

Meanwhile . . .

 

The general cocked his head when he heard the question, "Do with them? What do you think I'd do with them?" The general snapped his fingers and guards inbio-hazard suits came and held Eden back. From behind him Eden could hear the sound of the automatic door woosh open and shut. A skinny man in a white lab coat walked past him and up to his machines. Fixing his spiral patterened glasses the man, or possibly teenager due to the look of his face, examined the droids and then turned to the general. "Can you duplicate them Andrew?"

"But of course I can, sir, you know that . . ."

[Freeman The Master]

Eden shock his head. "General, General, my dire General." as Eden said that there was a slight and quiet click in the machines,as if there was a hart beating or a louse Gear in them, but it was passed off and Eden continued. "Your pathetic scientist can not recreate the Strogg. Gerneral if I must say why dose it all ways have to end in a blood bath?" And with that as just as last time a slight humm was hired form them. "You do not recreate the Strogg the Strogg assimilate." And with that both of the Droids came to life. They both stiffed out and reactivated them self. Before Andrew let alone blink the CX-002 garbed him by the neck and egected him with some unknown substance and with that his skin became pale and he fell to the floor.As for BX-001 jumped back and tackled one of the Scientists that was holding Eden. BX as well injected him the man with some unknown substance as well. As Andrew before he turned gray and fell silent.

 

As for the Other one Eden kicked him self free, and with that he ran twordes the door on the opposite end. While the two Droids faced the General. "To sever the Macron you will be assimilated." The big one said in a low tone as Eden ran out laughing.

Tarr gazed in to the birds eyes. She got in to a stance that seemed to Omar a ritual move. Its like she has done this before. Tarr was quiet as she locked eyes on to the Challenger. And with that she charged.

The general cursed as the two droids advanced on him. Not even in his wildest dreams did he imagine that the doctor could be this cunning. While the general faced certain death Eden dashed through out the compound until he had found what he was waiting for, Lee. Lee had seemingly been dismanteled in a gruesome way and attempted to be put back together.

 

Meanwhile . . .

 

The bird let out a screech and charged at the harpy as well. Yet before either could clash in combat a small round ball bounced amoungst the two. A thick smoke cloud sprang from the ball and covered the area, haulting both charges. As the harpy and Omar coughed and remained confused each could feel a hand grab onto theirs and hear a voice telling them to follow. Unsure, or unable, to argue both were lead away from the birds and down a dark tunnel. When their eyes readjusted to the dim lighting they could see that someone in robes had saved them from a possibly fatal clash. "You will be safe now," the person spoke with an odd accent as if he was trying to disguise his voice, "as long as you do not surface for a few miles."

As Koya saw kallen run away and to the complex he let his attack miss its intended point and instead of shattering it he bounced right into the door of the complex. "It doesn't have to be like this kallen. you dont have to do this, you can come back with me. We can handle ourselves we wont be killed." Koya said this as he turned off the adrenalin as he needed to save it for later. HE stuck his hands in the air as if to surrender but 10 tendrils shot out of each finger most of them smashing every camera and the others sealing the door. "Now they wont see us leave and we can take those droids out. Koya pleaded. He shot a then wave over the shield covering the units. If that shield was disarmed the sheet would coat them all. That sheet blocked all signals coming in or out so they cannot give reports or get commands.

Kallen looked at Koya, "You're wrong they'll keep looking for me until I'm either there or they have my dead body in a containment unit for analysis. And either way I need you to watch Lora for me." Then Kallen smiled, "But since you took out those cameras for me I will tell you that, Lora is my sister... and I plan to find a way to make them think I died." Kallen turned away from him and walked right up toward the doors, "Goodbye." She placed her hand on the scanner outside the door and it opened. She walked inside without a second thought.

 

One of the guards inside the door saw her and immediately recognized her, "Hello, Lady Stadtfeld the General is waiting for you. Please follow me. Also my name is Lt. Tyler." He turned and led Kallen to the room where Eden and the General were. Lt. Tyler turned to Kallen, "The General is in here and he's assigned me as your personal assistant if there's anything you need don't hesitate." He handed her a comlink and walked away. Kallen turned to face the door knowing that the person who had caused her so much pain was on the other side. She activated the door and walked inside to see the droids advancing on the General.

 

The Shadow units prepared to fight the newcomer but Akima walked out in between them and the newcomer and stood there focusing his energy. *Dammit this is gonna suck I just hope Lora's not too close.* He used Bansho Tenin his most destructive attack.

"Shi, Nichi, Shakai, Chi!" Omaru said as a curved hilt blade arose from the grounds and into his hand. He then pointed the blade at the strange man with the robe on. "Identify yourself or forever be slain to pieces. I don't know where i am so you better start talking or else me and my harpy friend over here will do major damage." Omaru then looked around and tried to find out this mysterious tunnel is and why did the old man save them from those birds.

Lora had been in the air as the Bansho Tenin hit. Though out of the range of serious damage she was pellted with debris and rubble as she blocked her face and was pushed back by the gusts of wind created by the attack. When the attack subsides Lora looks around and yells to Akima, "AKIMA!!! That guy is already inside!!!"

 

Looking behind him Akima realized that thorugh the dust the stranger had somehow managed to break the doors down to the complex and vanish inside. What was this person's mission that he was so adamit about completing?

 

While the stranger had just broke in, with Lora and Akima soon behind him, the General watched as Kallen came into the room. Both droids paused for a minute, assuming what to do about the added person. Their analysis was haulted when both was struck through their power cores by liquid metal tenticales. Getting up Andrew fixed his glasses with his free hand, while tearing the two creations of Doctor Eden. "That . . . was annoying" he announced as the droids were split in two and then assimilated into Andrew's "flesh".

 

Turning to Kallen the General gave a wicked smile, "I hope I didn't ruin your hopes my dear."

 

Meanwhile . . .

 

The person hidden underneath the hood pointed a finger at the blade and it bursted into flower petals whichfloated to the ground. Whoever this was had powers that would make a fight very difficult for Omar, even if the harpy decided to help. "Is this how you show your appriciation? I just saved your lives!"

[Freeman The Master]

Eden sighed and shook his head at what he saw... "Well at least there going to pay..." Eden walked over to the table in witch he lay on. He saw the damage that he had taken and well most of seems to be put back together in a way. But that would all have to wait, for he was not immune to the Strogg’s assimilation program that was about to begin. He tied up a few things here and there. Connecting some wires back to normal and patching up some stretched out skin with metal. “Well at least they did not mess with the head.” Eden shook his head as he rushed over to the electric panel. From there he flipped on and jolts or electricity ran in to Lee’s body reanimating him back to somewhat life. Lee’s eyes flashed open and the straps that where containing him where broken off in a snap. As he got up and off the table he started to look around. “Where are we?” He said in his low dim tone of voice. “Long story just lets go.” Eden said with out hast, and with that the left.

Tarr still dazed by the smoke barley acknowledge the person. That smoke did a hell of a toll on her then it did to Omar, by the looks of it. She was tired, weak, limp, and still somewhat blind as still the smoke clouded her vision. “Where are we?” She said as the dim light of the area started to come back to her.

KOya smiled and walked away thinking to himself. "Ha that unjam able tracker i put on her will come in handy, since its also a comlink." He jumped up in the air completely blowing off the units. He was high enough in the air to see Lora and shot her a mid link. "hey come on kallen is gone lets go back. ill tell you later." he then covered himself in a ball of shadow shot himself and picked up Lora. then he extended a branch and sucked up akima. it took about three minutes to et back to the campsite with fleur waiting.

Omar looked at his blade as it turned to flowers. "The question is who are you?" Omar looked at the harpy then back at the hood figure. "And show yourself, only cowards hide ther identities."

[-Genesis-]

Akima woke up sitting at the campsite, "Huh? Wha- Dammit! What happened?" He looked around him, "What the... my attack did nothing?" Then he noticed Koya and Lora, "Where are we?"

 

Kallen looked straight at the General, "I'm not disappointed. I'd expect nothing less than that. So I wasn't even here yet and you chose an assistant for me? How thoughtful. Well what were those? Are you trying to create a better droid than the shadow unit you forced Todou to build?"

 

ooc: Todou is a genius engineer who worked for Kallen's father before he deid and is now imprisoned. He created the Shadow units and the Radiant Wave Surger but refuses to recreate the RWS except as a replacement or upgrade for Kallen and thus has been assigned on her personal staff. Kallen only knows this because it was on the clip board Lt. Tyler Sakamoura was holding.
