Struggle Of Powers

Saul chuckled. Then he laughed. Boisterously oddly "A hundred bucks? Not on your life. We were guarding you, not peeping." He was now calm and staring her in the face, oblivious to all else. He would never give in to this brazen woman. Then he turned to Kallen. "Kyou asked us to guard her while she bathed. I have not looked back at them." HE glowered. "And Kyou has confirmed that."

 

Black was also rolling with laughter. "Destined, Already on it!" He smirked as he thought of Amanda. She was definitely a distraction who would take up some time. She was intelligent after all. She would soon have Corey where he needed to be to stall. At least, to stall for at least an hour or 2.

 

Amanda hadn't heard his question about the Northern Generals name. She led him further. Then she began to speak. "Apparently," She began, making it up as she went, "Destined assaulted the General before you all left." She looked back at him. "You need to find a way to take him out.

[Tempest Dahlia]

"Good. We start now. Lucifer..."

Lucifer began to gurgle and choke as his form began to change. He was now shaped like a clock, with it's one hand remaining dormant.

"Lucifer is more than a cursed hat: he grants me the power to distort dimensions", the man said, shaking the clock that remained atop his head.

The one hand of the 'clock' hit 1.

"When the hand hits 12, anything in a mile radius that is living will die. l like to refer to it as... a rinse."

Bellis was slightly uncomfortable with Josh holding her head against his chest, so she jerked awkwardly as if she was shivering, and cleared her throat. She probably would never know why they sent her here, but it didn't matter. She had a purpose. Bellis thought for a moment, and was in for a pleasant surprise when she could use her brain without causing pain upon herself. She then glanced into the future. All she saw was black. It was nothing. Bellis' eyes always glazed over when she did this, so, hoping she hadn't scared anyone, she left her vision. Smiling roguishly for a reason that she didn't even understand, she nodded to Yaming graciously. Danger was fun to her. Danger was more important to her than peace and safety. It was the only thing that made life worth living for Bellis without any family members around her.

[Tempest Dahlia]

"Well, Black? Are you ready to bring the world to it's knees?" Destined said.

"Oh, l forgot to say what happens if the clock hits 12 and we're not through the mission... Lucifer will explode, killing us all and destroying the entire Southern Continent..." he said, chuckling.

"But it's not like we're going to fail, right?" he said with a grin. "Now let's go. We're wasting precious seconds..."

[LuffyLaxer]

"A soldier I am not," Tiberius says while he gets back into stance. "Let's just say I've been pushed around to much." Tiberius looked at Bordimir out of the corner of his eye. Then he looked at Lana, who he saw electricity rushing down. 'That must be her power,'Tiberius thought. 'To bad I can't access mine. It would have made it a good fight. I am too weak. Even if I beat her, there is no way I could beat Bordimer and All of those guards. I must convince her to come with me. Otherwise I am doomed. At least that way I wouldn't have to do All the work.'

 

"Lana," Tiberius whispered to her. "Let's get out of here. I know that guys is a slave driver. Trust me on this. Let's get out of here. I don't want to fight you."

[-Genesis-]

Lana laughed at the slave when he said that they should get out of here. "Are you kidding? You want me to run away with you? Hah! The only reason I'd ever leave is if my brother did. I know about the slavery and such, I know just about anything there is to know around here. No, here we are free, here we answer to only Lord Bordimor and the other three leaders. Everyone else answers to us. I will never go back being some person's toy!" Because of all the memories that flooded back to her at that moment she stopped fooling around and went straight at the slave. She didn't hold back she one-shot him in the chest, just closer to the center than the heart, but unfortunately for the slave she fired 60 volts of electricity in the punch. The shock hit him hard, and almost gave him a heart attack, inside his body his muscles locked in place, effectively ending the battle. Lana turned away from him and pulled her cloak on, "Take him back to cell, and I am to be informed when his body heals." She walked off to find Hachi.

 

Kallen blushed at her mistake, "Well then... Um... I'm... Sorry. Really I'm sorry." She was in such a bad mood that when she'd seen everything she jumped to the worst possible conclusion. Akima smiled at Kallen, "It's alright, now what did you originally come here for?" Kallen turned to Kyou, "Does the Northern General have a messenger, or anyone working in the main castle, named Amanda?" Kyou's eyebrows raised at the odd question, "No, he does not... why do you ask?" Kallen's face hardened, "Cause there is some woman named Amanda messing around with Corey, and she made him so out of it that he completely ignored me." Kyou frowned, "Well let's go find him, because whoever that is she has no affiliation to the north!"

 

Cougar was absolutely pissed, he couldn't find Corey anywhere! Suddenly he heard a voice, *No that can't be...of all the freaking luck! I get so pissed off and I end up in listening range.* He walked up the hill and saw Corey standing with some woman Cougar didn't know, but that wasn't the issue right now, Cougar was gonna give Corey a piece of his mind (no pun intended) or rather a piece of his fist! When Cougar got within an arm's length of Corey he nailed him with a sucker-punch in the jaw.

[Jake the Sage]

"Alright! "et's go . . . Round 2!" he yeleld and then charged; punching rapidly at her. Lana smiled at the slave's' attempt to take her down. As he seemed to trip her up, she flipped herself over amd dodged his attacks. She smiled evilly at the slave, "Not bad, were you a soldier before a slave?"

 

"A soldier? No I'm not," Tiberius answered while he got back into stance, "Let's just say I've been pushed around to much."

 

Tiberius looked at Bordimir out of the corner of his eye. Then he looked at Lana, who took up a stance, but this time her right arm was held straight out diagonal down and the left was in a boxing position. A small current of electricity ran down the length of her right arm. "That must be her power. Too bad I can't access mine. It would make for a good fight. But even if I beat her . . . there is no way I could beat Bordimer and all of those guards. I have to convince her to come with me. Otherwise I am doomed!"

 

"Lana," Tiberius whispered to her. "Let's get out of here. I know that guys is a slave driver. Trust me on this. Let's get out of here. I don't want to fight you."

 

"That'll be $100 each," Amber said as she brazanly walked out, grabbed her robe, put it on, and walked over to the guys with her hands held out to them. Saul chuckled and then he laughed, "A hundred bucks? Not on your life. We were guarding you, not peeping . . ."

 

Kallen glared at them, "Oh so all of you just happen to be at the edge of a spring where multiple women are currently bathing, hm?"

 

"Kyou asked us to guard her while she bathed. I have not looked back at them." Saul growled back. Akima stepped forward as the angry woman shook her fist and looked like she was about to attack, "Kallen, listen . . . we're not here for that. The Professor was here and we all just came because we needed to talk to him."

 

He realized that he just might have saved himself and the others from Kallen's anger, but he'd just 'throw the Professor to the wolves'. Glancing over to him the Professor stood up and agreed with Saul that he was asked to guard Kyou as she bathed, and then turned to have Kyou agree with him, only to be suprised that during all the commotion she had gotten out of the water, put on her clothes and walked over, "In truth Kallen, I did asked the Professor and Saul to watch out for me . . . unfortunately they all came to see the Professor."

 

"Well then . . . ummm . . . I-I'm sorry! Really, really, REALLY sorry!!!" Kallen stuttered, blushing in emberrassment. She was in such a bad mood that when she'd seen everything she jumped to the worst possible conclusion.

"Does the Northern General have a messenger or anyone working in the main castle, named Amanda?" Kallen asked as Kyou's eyebrows raised at the odd question, "No, he does not . . . why do you ask?"

 

"Cause there is some woman named Amanda messing around with Corey and she made him so out of it that he completely ignored me."

 

Everyone looked back and forth at each other, quickly guessing this had something to do with Destined, since he had disappeared for awhile now. Kyou frowned, "Well let's go find him, because whoever that is she has no affiliation to the North!"

 

"Answer!" Corey yelled again as Amanda lead him along, ignoring him completely. After leading him further she began to speak, "Apparently . . . Destined assaulted the General before you all left. You need to find a way to take him out."

 

Corey wasn't sure if she was making this up or not, since she seemed to know how to block his ability. But since she had not answered his question he decided it wasn't best to trust her. Forming a psi-sword he pointed it at her and glared, finally unfazed by her apeparance, "You have three seconds to answer my question . . . or you will be in a world of trouble."

 

Cougar walked up the hill and saw Corey standing with some woman Cougar didn't know, but that wasn't the issue right now, Cougar was gonna give Corey a piece of his mind! When he got within an arm's length of Corey he nailed him with a sucker-punch in the jaw. Not even noticing Corey stumbled on the ground, his psi-sword vanishing, and he stood up while rubbing his cheek, "What the hell was that for!?"

 

"If you have no where to go. Then why not go to the North? We're on a mission right now, so being with us will be dangerous," Yaming suggested as she stood up and clapped her hands. Jerking awkwardly away, as if she was shivering, from Josh Bellise thought for a moment; and recieved a pleasant surprise when there was no pain. Smiling roguishly, for a reason that she didn't even understand, she nodded to Yaming graciously, "I would prefer to accompany you."

 

Danger was fun to her. Danger was more important to her than peace and safety. It was the only thing that made life worth living for Bellis without any family members around her. Destined grinned as Kyba and Darren got a small glint in their eyes, "It will be a simple, quick plan that will have fatal results if we do not succeed. However, if we do it, we will be one step closer to dominitation! Lucifer?"

Destined chuckled as Darren nodded slowly, sick from thoughts of the worse possible outcome. As they spoke the other's rushed to Corey, none of them noticing a presense looming towards them . . .

 

Bordimor couldn't help but laugh to himself as Tiberius asked Lana to run away with him, he was laughing so hard he didn't even notice that the slave he had been kicking around managed to vanish. Down below Lana was also laughing at the slave when he said that they should get out of here, "Are you kidding!? You want me to run away with you? Hah! The only reason I'd ever leave is if my brother did . . . I know about the slavery and such, I know just about anything there is to know around here. We're free and we answer to only Lord Bordimor!"

 

Because of all the memories that flooded back to her at that moment she stopped fooling around and went straight at the slave. She didn't hold back as she aimed for a one-shot hit in the chest, just close to the center of the heart, but fortunately for the slave Bordimor had gotten in between the two and deflected the attack . . . effectively ending the battle. Grinning as the other slaves looked away Bordimor released her and tossed the slave to the ground, "You willing to pay for what you break?"

 

Lana turned away from him and pulled her cloak on as she walked off to find Hachi, "Take him back to cell . . ."

" Well their might be danger, but Yaming can handle it. " Josh said as he got up slowly, then truned to Bellis. " Get some rest, Yaming will take good care of you."

 

Josh the walked up to Yaming, Kissed her on the cheek. Then said, " I will help where I can, but untill I take my own power's for a spin, I will not know for sure if I can help any one." Josh smiled at her then, picked up her hand, and kissed it. " I'll Be back soon." Josh said as he strolled out of the tent.

 

" What I need to find right know is an opponet." Josh was deep in thought, as he walked.

Schiver chuckled at the randomness that had already unfolded. "I just got here, I had no idea any of you we're in the spring at all." Schiver said, turning to Kyou. "Northern General? Ah yes, how goes Mitch and the Elder, I haven't seen them in two years. Ah, what times we had, I still oh Mitch upwards of six thousand dollars..." Schiver explained, and anyone with half a mind could already tell that he originally came from The Northern Territory...

Amanda smiled seductively. "Come now, I was sent to find you Corey. And then t go after his granddaughter, Kyou, and alert her." She kept the ever present smile. "The General and Mitch feel Destined is about to try to kill you all." Her eyes flashed, and ignored the sword. She figured she had drawn him out far enough. Then she saw Cougar and 'Tsk"'d. When he punched Corey. She had a look of shock on her face. She looked at Cougar and snapped "What was tha-" and she began acting. She looked over his shoulder and said "OH look, that's Kyou, isn't it?". She was lying, but as soon as he and Corey turned around, she dismissed herself, and was gone.

 

Black chuckled. "Of course I'm ready." and then he added "And I won't be dying anytime soon. You idiots ready?" He asked Darren and Kyba. Then it hit him. "Destined! We have to hurry! Corey is stranded out away from everyone and the distraction is gone! When they find him, it's over." He looked genuinely shocked.

 

Saul tskd as well, but for another reason. "Hmm.... this has John written all over it..." He mused aloud. He put his hand on his katana beneath his cloak.

Kallen smiled as an idea came to her, "Saul, can you track Black?" She realized that Amanda may have been a distraction so that they wouldn't notice that Black and Destined had disappeared.

 

Akima simply stood there listening to Kallen ask Saul about Black and he noticed that Kyou was gone. *Oh well, she probably went to see Corey.*

 

Kyou had turned and without a word left in an ice rose. the ice rose reappeared a few feet from Cougar and Corey, *It's a good think I placed nevermelting ice shards on each of them.* She saw Corey on the ground holding his jaw and Cougar standing above him. "What's going on?"

 

Cougar was still annoyed and spoke, "To answer both of you, Corey was ignoring my thoughts when I was trying to contact him and I came to find him only to see him with some random woman, not that I mind that, but he had a job to do."

 

Ahead of both Alisa and Ike by a few meters Kiria came to the crest of a hill and stopped short. Alisa slowed and walked up behind him, "What's wrong Kiria? Is something... Ike... Ike get over here now! It's some of that group of rogue supers!" Kiria was smiling darkly as he looked down at them in the valley when Alisa had an idea, "I say we capture them and offer them as a bargaining chip to the Southern Leaders. And I also think that we should wait until nightfall to make a move, any comments?"

 

Lana had walked off and entered the wing where her quarters were. She turned to a herald who was walking by, "Do you know where my brother Hachi is?"

 

[Blake]

Saul raised an eyebrow. "That depends...." Saul began, "If he is too far away then no. I can track him within 5 miles, but he shouldn't be that far gone. Well, that could be said for a normal person, but not him. He can warp remember? And that can sometimes be quite a ways." He began focusing on it. He was around, but it was faint. "I might... be able to.. .but we need to go now."

 

Black knew that if Amanda was out, then they'd be coming soon. Especially with Sauls's power sensing. "Destined! We have to move!" He snapped. The time for victory was nigh, and he would not let it be taken.

Kallen nodded and followed Saul, activating her sensor. She could see multiple people a few miles away with it, but not who they were. She looked up at Saul's back, *Come on I know that they're up to something... I can feel it, but I don't know what.*

 

As Kallen ran off with Saul, Akima followed, *Why now of all times do they have to try and pull something?*

 

Kiria watched from the hill as three people ran off in a different direction. Then he turned to Ike, "Unfortunately I agree, we should wait until nightfall. We would need the darkness to get near them without causing alarm."

 

Alisa nodded and turned to Ike, "Well, what do you think?"

Bellis blinked twice. She then thought for a moment, and remembered that she hadn't yet perfectly introduced herself. Clearing her throat, she began to speak.

 

"Well, I haven't properly introduced myself. I think it's the least I could do after how much you've done for me.

"I'm Bellis Simplex. I'm a Super, obviously. I'm a medium, and sometimes am able to foresee the future. But enough about that. My life... It's like I'm losing a game.

"As an only child, I was good and proper. I always followed rules, and all that. I thought I loved my family. But when I became older, I realized how much I hated my parents. Eventually, I became emancipated as a minor, and fled from my home. That was a few years ago. Now that I'm here, I have nothing to hold on to. It's like... I know I'm losing, so why care anymore?"

 

Bellis realized how cliche her story sounded, but didn't care. She sat, waiting for a response. As she waited, she looked around, and thought of what she was going to be doing soon.

"Let's go then," Destined said.

He pointed to a tower that was monstrous in height. lt loomed over the city and seemed to be very far from their location.

"That is the tower we'll breaching, gentlemen. The Control Tower. Lucky for us, the Southern Continent proved too stupid to hide such a valuable icon.

"The plan is simple: Breach the tower and override the security. After that, it's just a matter of reaching the top and placing Lucifer in the center of the room."

He looked at the three. "And that's it."

[Jake the Sage]

Lana turned away from him and pulled her cloak on as she walked off to find Hachi, "Take him back to cell . . ."

 

Afterwards she entered the wing where her quarters were and turned to a herald, "Do you know where my brother Hachi is?"

 

"Yes ma'am!" the herald barked, getting into attention, and then pointed towards the labratory. Sighing she walked into the room and could see her brother looking into a microscope. Before she set one foot inside he pointed to the floor, "Wipe your feet sister dear."

 

"I would prefer to accompany you."

"That depends," Saul began, "If he is too far away then no. I can track him within five miles, but he shouldn't be that far gone."

 

"So you can really track him!?" Koya asked as Akima simply stood listening to everyone and then noticed that Kyou was gone, "She probably went to see Corey." he thought to himself, not knowing how right he was. Kyou had turned and without a word, leaving in an ice rose, that had reappeared a few feet from Cougar and Corey.

 

Not even noticing Cougar, Corey stumbled on the ground as his psi-sword vanished, and he stood up while rubbing his cheek, "What the hell was that for!?"

 

Amanda had been smiling seductively the entire time, until she saw Cougar and when he punched Corey she had a look of shock on her face. She looked at Cougar and, trying to figure a quick way to escape, snapped, "Oh look!Isn't that Kyou!?"

 

She was lying, but she figured as soon as they turned around, she would be gone. To her horror Kyou was behind them and had seen Cougar punch Corey, imediately yelling out, "What's going on?"

 

"To answer both of you, Corey was ignoring my thoughts when I was trying to contact him . . . and I came to find him- only to see him with some random woman!" Cougar called back, still annoyed, and forgetting his edicute. Corey waved his hands in a panic, not wanting to see Kyou mad, and tried to explain that it was the women who was doing everything. Grabbing her by the hand Corey started explaining everything since she had appeared; Amanda was caught with little way out as the others closed in quickly.

 

Kallen, having activated her sensor, could see multiple people a few miles away with it but not who they were. Schiver merely chuckled at the randomness that had already unfolded, "I just got here . . . and already things are in turmoil."

 

Schiver got a few scowls from everyone as they headed towards Destined and Black's position; but anyone who had actually paid attention could tell that he was originally from The Northern. Black, spotting the others heading towards him, knew that they'd come eventually especially with Sauls's power sensing, but didn't expect them so soon. Turning be addressed his boss, "Destined! They're here . . ."

 

"Well, I haven't properly introduced myself. I think it's the least I could do after how much you've done for me," Bellis said said after she cleared her throat. She had realized that it was proper edicute to introduce yourself to someone before speaking to them, "I'm Bellis Simplex. I'm a medium and sometimes I'm able to see the future."

 

"Good to met you Bellis Simplex. My name is Yaming Onmyou," Yaming said as she bowed gracefully to Bellise. Standing straight again she gave a warm smile and asked, "So do you have any siblings?"

 

"I-I'm an only child. My parents couldn't have any kids so they adopted me. I thought they loved me, but when I was older . . . I realized how much they actually hated me; eventually I fled from my home. That was a few years ago . . . now I'm here . . . it's like . . . I know I'm losing, so why care anymore?"

 

Bellis realized how cliche her story sounded, but didn't care. She sat, waiting for a response, and as she waited she thought of what she was going to be doing soon. A sharp slap made her eyes grow wide as Yaming tried to hold back her tears, but once she saw the red mark appear on the young girl's face she knelt down and held her close while forcing the tears back, "Never say something like that Bellise, please? To not even care about your life is senseless . . ."

 

Yaming looked at Bellis in the eye, wipped away a tear, and exhaled slowly, "You remind me so much of a long gone person I knew. She was a young girl just like you, having lost her way just the same. She ran away from her family too . . . but instead of disregarding her life she fought onward. She found her path and fought for it every single day of her life. Even at the end she was brave and knew, no matter what, her greatest joy was the care she ahd for others . . . and those who cared for her."

 

"What's wrong Kiria?,"Alisa asked as she slowed down and walked up behind Kiria. He had been ahead of both of them by a few meters, but when he came to the crest of a hill immediately stopped, "Is something- Ike . . . Ike get over here now! It's some of that group of rogue supers!"

"Orders are orders," he said as an alarm suddenly let out. How had they been spotted so easily!? But the answer was that it wasn't them who had been spotted, it was something else . . . something on metal wings that were now casting a very large shadow over them.

" Well this is pointless "Josh said as he trusted his arm foreward's trying to test his speed. He had wondered around untill the camp for alittle over an hour.Then he figured that he might as well try some training, sences he couldn't find an opponet. But know the idea of training was boring him.

" Hmm, you know I could alway's start one?" Josh said intertanig the idea for awhile. Then he tought better of it." Not right know their's enough to do with out me adding to it" He tought with a sigh.

Lana smiled and unbuckled her boots before walking into the lab, "You and your experiments.... so what are you doing this time?" She wanted to talk to her brother about her idea to train some of the prisoners and slaves into a special operations team, but she wasn't going to push it. Her brother Hachi was the only person she ever had patience for.

 

Cougar stepped back to allow Corey and explanation and waited, *You know Corey, that was probably the only time I've ever been able to hit you in the face without using my speed, because normally you would have heard my thoughts and known I was coming.*

 

Kyou looked at Amanda and the ground around them started to freeze over, "You will explain yourself, immediately." She didn't say or else because in Kyou's eyes there would be no other option. Amanda would tell Kyou everything... one way or another.

 

Kallen followed Saul with Akima close behind, *I don't know what's going on, but knowing Destined it's not something that's good for anyone, but him.*

 

 

Kiria looked up in shock at the giant metal creature casting a shadow over him, *How had I not noticed it? Am I losing my touch? No... it's not a real threat that's why.* These thoughts all happened in an instant. Kiria glared up at the creature and summoned the Buster Sword, "I won't be taken that easily!" Without hesitating he leapt up into the air directly at the creature with a demonic look in his eyes, "I will eliminate any enemy!"

Amanda offered a last smile. "Well, I will on one condition." She walked up to Corey, and grabbed his face. She kissed him full on the lips, possibly to Cougar and Kyou's horror. While she did, she started sowing seeds of doubt into his mind, unbeknownst to him. She filled his mind with the idea that Kyou and Cougar wanted to kill him, first chance they got. That they were Tyrants, no better than Destined. That the rebels and Bill were all out for their own gain. Above all, she told him that he could not trust Saul at all, and Black was out for Corey's good as much as Corey himself would be. And also, that Kallen loved him, whether it was true or not, and to kill her, Amanda, right there with a psychic Blade. She stepped back and wiped her lip. "I'll be seeing you, sweety." She said to Corey, waiting to be 'killed'.

 

Black knew the end of the plan might be nigh. "Destined..." He began, but knew it would be useless. He just bided his time. Then he replied to the plan "Alright. Saul flinched. Something had happened with Black's power's a minute before. Something had shut off, or quit. Maybe dismissed itself. Which of those, he was not sure.

Vera sighs and looks down, she starts to weep when she is sudenly huged by Alex, "Alucard..." She sadly says, as she is huged.

 

Alex backs out of the hug, with Vera still looking down he lifts Vera's chin with a smile, "Please dont cry mistress......" Alex says with a sigh, "Your pretty so dont ruin your Beauty with tears...."

Kiria was smiling darkly as he looked down at them in the valley when Alisa had an idea, "I say we capture them and offer them as a bargaining chip to the Southern Leaders . . . and I also think that we should wait until nightfall to make a move, any comments?"

 

"I agree, we should wait until nightfall. We would need the darkness to get near them without causing alarm," Kiria admitted as he saw how many people were surrying around in the camp. Alisa nodded and turned to Ike, "Well, what do you think?"

 

"Orders are orders," he said as an alarm suddenly let out. How had they been spotted so easily!? But the answer was that it wasn't them who had been spotted, it was something else . . . something on metal wings that were now casting a very large shadow over them. Kiria looked up in shock and stepped back as the wings kicked up dust from the ground. It gave a shriek that sounded like metal scrapping on metal and its shadow grew largers as it neared, "How did I not noticed it!? Am I losing my touch?" These thoughts all happened in an instant as the creature, resembling a dragon, glided towards Kiria and the rest. The mechine glared down as Kiria summoned the Buster Sword, "I won't be taken that easily!"

 

"To answer both of you, Corey was ignoring my thoughts when I was trying to contact him . . . and I came to find him- only to see him with some random woman!" Cougar called back to Lady Kyou as Corey waved his hands in a panic, not wanting to see her mad, and tried to explain that it was the women who was doing everything. He grabbed Amanada by the hand and she offered a last smile, while he tried to explain the situation. Kyou looked at Amanda and the ground around them started to freeze over, "You will explain yourself, immediately."

 

"Well . . . I will on one condition," Amanda mused as she walked up to Corey, turning red as she held his body against her, and kissed him passionately; possibly to both spectator's horror. While she did, she started sowing seeds of betrayl into his mind, unbeknownst to him,and to kill her right now with a psychic blade. She stepped back and wiped her lip, "I'll be seeing you sweety."

 

"You remind me so much of a long gone person I knew. She was a young girl just like you, having lost her way just the same. She ran away from her family too . . . but instead of disregarding her life she fought onward. She found her path and fought for it every single day of her life. Even at the end she was brave and knew, no matter what, her greatest joy was the care she ahd for others . . . and those who cared for her," Yaming told Bellise as she began to tear up again. Bellis turned away from the her and hide her face, not wanting to show herself after the story. Instead of talking, she tried looking into the future, and her mind zoomed through time. As a vision finally formed, she could see the beating wings of a giant creature, and then reality poured back into view. Bellis was in a cold sweat and turned to Yaming, who quickly realized something was wrong, "What is it?"

 

"You and your experiments . . . so what are you doing this time?" Lana said after she unbuckled her boots and walked into his lab. She really didn't care about her older brother's experiments, what she wanted to talk about was her idea to train some of the slaves into a special operations team but she wasn't going to push it. Tapping her foot Hachi examined his experiments some more, scribbeling some notes down and then looking again. This repeated, almost trying his little sister's patience to the end, and he then finally took his goggles off when he turned to face her, "Sis . . . I know you don't care about my 'hobby' so spare me the sarcasim. What do you really want?"

 

"Alucard!?" Vera sadly asked as she suddenly was given a warm hug. She turned to see him standing in the moonlite window as she sighed and looked down. He lifted her chin with a smile, "Please dont cry my dear . . . someone like you shouldn't ruin your beauty with mere tears."

 

"Is that so?" Boridmor asked as he fired a flame at Alex, almost knocking him out of the window, and then threw him back inside. The attack, weither on purpose or not, had knocked Alex unconcious and he lightly kicked the unconcious man's rips with a grin, "Because I think those tears adds to her beauty. Now . . . what to do with you? How about you go join the other two who caused a problem today, hmmmm?"

 

Without a second thought, though Vera pleaded and pleaded, Bordimour sent Alex down to the torture chambers where Tiberius and the other slave had been taken. Once he heard the door lock he looked around and could see Tiberius chained to the wall, while others looked more dead than alive. One girl he instantly recognized- Alexandra! As he shook her, trying to wake her up, a ragged man breahted heavily and spoke, "Best not to wake the child. She has been through enought today . . . let her sleep."

 

"I just got here . . . and already things are in turmoil," Schiver merely chuckled at the randomness that had already unfolded. Kallen, having activated her sensor, could see multiple people a few miles away with it but not who they were. As they walked they could see Destined, Black and the other two watching Corey and Amanda. Corey's psychic powers began to whirl around him as he began to form a sword, his mind somehow set on one goal. Raising it up he then split it into three shield and placed them around Lady Kyou, Cougar and himself as the area around them exploded in a violent furry.

 

As the explosion rocked the Rebel Camp, Josh had wandered away from the camp until it was a little over an hours walk; he figured that would give him enough room to train, but now the idea of training was boring him, "Hmmm . . . You know . . . I could always start one?"

 

The sudden explosion caught everyone's attention and when the smoke cleared everyone could see a giant mechanical dragon looming over Amanda as she spit some blood from her mouth, the creature gave an ear piercing screech, and Kiria with his group landed in position to surround the beast. The Professor knew the creature, it was the same that had been attacking his men out in the field, and his eyes grew wide while he merely muttered, "The Black Smith Dragon . . . here? How . . ."

Bellis was confused after this, and decided to reply to Yaming's story first, if it could make for some conversation. Clearing her throat, she murmured:

 

"Well, that isn't me. I'm not exactly a great person. You... You wouldn't understand. You may know some old friend who may have been like me, but she isn't. No one is like me. Understand that?"

 

Bellis realized how rude she was being, and made a sorrowful face quickly after saying what she said. She then realized that she should avoid Yaming's second question. It could worry her. Nevertheless, she spoke reluctantly.

 

"I can't see the future. It- It just isn't there."

 

Bellis moved a part of hair that hung in front of her eyes to a place behind her ear. Her eyes appeared shaky and wet. This had never happened to Bellis before when she looked into the future, and it was very new to her. It scared her as if she had been dropped into ice-cold water.

Amanda stared at the blood she had coughed up.

 

Saul knew what it was. He resisted the urge to curse. "You two." He said to his companions, "Brace yourself or run... NOW!" He yelled.

 

Black felt the shockwave. "What... just happened?" He mumbled. He knew what explosions felt like, and that was an explosion if ever there was one.

Vera couldn’t do anything but she wisent going let him get off to her sadness, she just looked at Him with utter disgust, "Pig!" She shouts, giving an ugly angry face.

 

"No! I will not allow Mistress's Daughter to be endangered!" Alex yelled, He pulled at his chains, only to be shocked horrificly as he lets out a blood curdling scream, "AHHHHH!"

 

Alexandria began to shift at the screaming, her eyes half open she looks at Alex he looks like Alucard, "D-Daddy?" She says, feinting again.

Tiberius wakes up to the scream and immediately pain is felt throughout his entire body. Tiberius looks around and sees other people inside this locked room. he also sees his chain that hold him up from the floor. 'Well,' Tiberius thinks as he lightly moves around. 'This is a predicament. Darn I would've made it to freedom had I could use my powers or I wasn't beaten to a pulp. That girl Lana has some punch though.'

Tiberius then fully awakes and then begins to struggle against his chains again. "I need to get out of here." Tiberius whispers to himself. "I need to get free."
