Struggle Of Powers

" Well What I want to do is eat first, man I missed food.." Josh said shaking Black's hand, then he truned to this new kid Saul. "Nice to meet a friendly new face, well all have to trained to gether some time. But for now I have thing's to catch up on. I would love to stick around, but I realy need to get some thing to eat." Josh's last word's where more harsh than he ment them to be, but he was realy hungry. That and he wished to eat alone with Yaming by his side, but he knew that might not happen because of their current situation.

 

Josh wasn't in to big of a hurry to go eat though. He was enjoying Yaming being on his arm and being noticed by people around him.

" Well I got my wish to come back." HE wispered to Yaming, then returned his attetion to his surrounding's. He leaned in and kissed Yaming on the cheak, then told her, " I need to get some thing to eat , but then we must part for a short while. I must figure out what this new body's power's are and how to use them correctly." He contiued to look at her as he said the word's, but how he said them was more like he was asking her if it would be ok for him to do it.

Eden still somewhat sleepy eyed and groggy at what been going on or well the absence of whats been going on for him. He was stuck in some place that he did not even know fully how he got here really it was still fuzzy for him. He started to rub his eyes more to wake them up just as he hied voices and worst off his name. "What?" He started to shack his head and final or somewhat make him self awake. "Who are you two and what do you mean 'Not well enough?'" He paused for a moment to think about this. "Look I thank you for the nap but I must go. The others and most off Lee must be wondering where I am." Eden started to walk up to them. "So if you would please move..."

As Corey was watching over Eden, Cougar appeared next to him, "Corey is something wrong with Eden? Lady Kyou is 'curious and worried' if you get my drift." He knew that Corey would understand, and if he didn't Cougar was making it pretty damn clear with his thoughts.

 

Kyou had wandered around the area near the camp and found a small lake. She now sat alone underneath a tree looking out at the calm water, *I wonder... how did Yaming's husband come back, was that her power? His? Or was it something else that can't be explained as easily as a power.*

 

At the woman who asked about Kallen, Akima nodded, "Yes she was just knocked unconscious, she'll be fine, she's had worse." With that he glanced at her right arm which had been replaced with a metal arm-weapon by Todou long before Akima had ever met her. Then he turned to Koya with a fearful look, *I wonder, does he know how I feel about Kallen? Does he feel the same? Does she know? Does she share my feelings? I don't have any answers and I don't know who to talk to.*

"Black? Saul?" Yaming began with a smile when she reached them with Josh, "I'd like you both to meet my husband- Josh."

 

"I know him . . . Remember? I rescued you right before he was killed," Black laughed as he brought back up the memory and then grinned at Josh. Extending his hand he welcomed him back to the land of the living and asked what the first thing he was going to do; he chuckled, liking his joke.

 

"Well . . . What I want to do is eat first! I've missed food," Josh said ignoring Black's comment, and shook his hand. Saul cut in, "You rescued her? Huh . . . hard to believe . . . And cut the vulgar jokes John."

 

Glancing to Josh he also extended his hand, "I am Saul. You're a lucky man."

 

Saul had spoken, with even less emotion, if it was possible and it almost creeped Josh out. He gave a small grin, tugging at his chin, and saw Black cast him a glance.

 

"Nice to meet a friendly new face, we'll all have to trained together sometime. But for now, I have thing's to catch up on," Josh said as Yaming began to lead him away. He turned his head around and called over his shoulder, "I would love to stick around, but I really need to get some thing to eat."

 

"You aren't well enough to move Eden. Do you want to end up like him?" Corey motioned to Ichiro who had been knocked out by the dragon's tail. Eden was still some what groggy at what had been going on, or well the absence of whats been going on for him, with everything still being fuzzy for him. He started to rub his eyes to wake up and heard his name, "What? Who are you two and what do you mean 'Not well enough?'"

 

He paused for a moment to think about this, "Look . . . I thank you for the nap, but I must go. The others and most off Lee must be wondering where I am. So if you would please move . . ."

 

Corey began to go to stop him, Cougar appeared next to him, "Corey is something wrong with Eden? Lady Kyou is 'curious and worried' if you get my drift."

 

He knew that Corey would understand, and if he didn't Cougar was making it pretty damn clear with his thoughts. Corey, already knwoing what he meant and pointed as Eden stumbled over his feet into a chair before getting up. He said, trying not to laugh, "He's well enough to ignore me."

 

"I kinda agree with that woman, does it really matter. I mean he's only been here for a matter of minutes and you saw how happy Yaming was," Akima smiled back at Koya; but then, Without meaning to, he flashed a concerned glance at Kallen's unconscious form.

 

The women who had been ridding the giant yellow wolf-like was right beside them now and the beast was sniffing at Kallen. Titanium and the other women about to arrive, "Is she ok?"

 

"Yes, she was just knocked unconscious. She'll be fine . . . she's had worse," Akima said as he nodded. With that he glanced at her right arm, which had been replaced with a metal arm-weapon by Todou long before Akima had ever met her, and gave a long worried filled sigh. GLancing at Koya out of the corener of his eye he tried to hide his fear, "I wonder if he know how I feel about Kallen? And what if . . . he feel the same about her?" While was in the midst of thinking the wolf-creature got in his face and looked at him, it's eyes almost never parting, before it spoke, "You love this woman don't you lad?"

 

The women who had been beside the beast the entire time squealed in delight and bent over to eye level with Akima, who was begining to turn redder by the second, "You're in love!? Really!? That is soooooo romantic that you're in love with a member of your teams! I wish I had someone special to take home and introduce to my mom and dad-"

 

"Elizabeth-"

 

"But then again my parents are both dead so I'd probably be introducing them to Kojo here," Elizabeth said as she patted the beast as he called her name again. This time she heard him and looked over, "You're rambeling again."

 

"Was I?" she asked and then gave a laugh. Koya was more stunned that the beast, Kojo, had talked and hadn't even began to acknowledge that Akima's feelings had been revealed. As the group began to get into chaos Corey was still trying to convince Eden he needed to rest, being aided by Cougar, and was getting no where fast. Ignoring the drama across the room, the tuxedo man walked over and waved his hand over Ichiro's eyes. Once this was done Ichiro quickly stood up in his bed.

 

"Ready to calm down? Or am I going to have to sedate you again?" the man asked as Ichiro looked around, still groggy, and was having a hard time grasping where he was. His vision was blurry and he could barely see in front of him when he stood up; he stumbled over his own two feet as his balance and other senses slowly returned to him. Glancing at Corey he asked in a sleepy tone, "Where'd the girls go?"

 

"They're fine Ichiro," the man said and introduced himself, "My name is James; the Rebel medic. You need to take it easy, you were hit by a dragon's tail and knocked unconciouss."

 

"I wonder how Yaming's husband came back to life. Was it her power? Could it possibly of been because of his?" Kyou asked herself while wandereing around the area near the camp. She was trying to put her mind off of Eden and found a small lake to continue her pondering over Josh's return. She now sat alone underneath a tree, looking out at the calm water, "Or . . . maybe theres a few things that can't be explained in this world . . ."

 

"That might be the answer," the Professor said reaching the bottom of the tree and sat next to her, crossing his legs, before looking over his ruined camp. Kyou didn't know what to say to ease his problems, but was suprised when he laughed and began to clean his glasses, "Want to know the best thing about living in tents? Even after something like this it will be easy for them to be put back up. They can be knocked down again and again . . . but they'll always be able to stand again with a few repairs."

 

Kyou nodded her head, knowing he was also using this as a metaphore for his own small rebellion, and asked when they would be leaving. He explained that, after today's events, that tonight would be the best. The reason was that since the tents were already gone they had no reason to stick around anymore and should just start the plan. Watching the Professor could see Josh being lead by the arm by Yaming, all smiles, and chuckled at the sight. Josh had really just wanted to eat alone with Yaming for a change, but instead she was dragging him around and introducing him to everyone weither he had already met them or not; deep down Josh knew this was inevitable.

 

But Josh wasn't in too big of a hurry to go and eat, so he hardly minded actually talking to the people he had watched as a ghost, and found himself enjoying the feeling of Yaming's hands around his arm. Stopping far away from everyone Josh sighed, making Yaming looked to him, "Well . . . I got my wish."

 

"What was that?"

 

"To come back," he whispered to Yaming, then returned his attetion to his surroundings to make sure they were alone. Once sure he leaned in and kissed Yaming on the cheak before he told her, "I think I have to go for a bit . . . I have to figure out what this new body and what powers it holds."

 

Josh flexed his fist, feeling his muscles tense and ease, Yaming watching him with a bit of panic. He contiued to look at her as his words set in, but he was more asking if it would be ok for him to leave. Yaming immediately shook her head and clung to Josh, beggint him not to leave her again. She said his powers would be fine and that he didn't need to leave her for something like that. Hearing a laugh both looked up as Destined, Kyba and Darren came up the hill.

 

"What a beautiful night . . . too see a young girl in tears," Destined said, Lucifer grinning under the full moon, with a small violet flame illuminating his own face.

 

 

Vera awoke to a soft smack on her face, she fluttered her eyes open and there she saw her daughter. Vera's yellow eyes flushed with tears as she embraced her daughter, "Alexandria!"

 

Suddenly she remembered the events of yesterday, she had charged the camp . . . knowing her daughter was here. She put up a fight, but there was too many she was eventualy knocked out. She looked at herself, seeing that her cloths had been torn and ragged, almost so much that it wasn't almost covering anything. Vera then checker the suroundings, finding herself in a cage with other people who looked nearly the same with torn cloths. She also saw a guard walking by and she jumped at him, but he didn't move as he tried to absorb his energy . . . but couldn't! Fustrated she began to chew at the cage like an animal, the guard laughed and walked away.

 

"Heh . . . I would stop that while I still had teeth," a man covered in a cloak said behind a bearded smile, "Though it seems they had a reason for putting you in her-"

 

The man grew quite and almost looked like he was trying to shrink inside himself as the sunlight hit Vera. A man in a cloak stepped down the stairs and stood in front of Vera, a sharp toothed grin on his face, "Never thought I'd see a Nosferato in the South again . . . must be my lucky day!"

 

 

With a snap the guards unlocked the cage. The man forced Vera to stand with just one had, somehow she was incredibly weak, and could feel something slightly choking at her neck. The man ran his finger's along the cold metal that touched her skin and laughed, "Like our Southern 'hospitality'? This'll prevent those irritating powers you used on my men yesterday Nosferato . . . Oh! And if you try and get it off . . ."

 

The man motioned with his other hand, making an exploding motion, "We clear my lovely knew song bird?"

" Him well I did realy want to go." Josh said as he watched the other's came up the hill. Josh nodded his head to them and said to them. " Evening." As they came up. He was enjoying his time with not only Yaming but with the other's as well. Josh was thinking, " This time I will enjoy this life to the fullest." He looked up at the moon, then to the one's around him. " Every one I have to say, of all my time in this world, I've learned just know to never take for granted the little thing's" Josh took a moment and let his word's settle, then his next word's where more like a warning," You never know when It's your time." He was still looking up at the moon when leanded his head on Yaming, sighed, then looked around woth a simle and said. " Trust me I know better than any one. Life can turn on the best laid plan's. Kyba and Darren never think you have tommarow to do some thing, do it right then and their. Destined

could you put that flame out , it's realy destroying the mood of this perfit night. Josh said with a little bit of a laugh at the end.

"Don't Tempt me child! I am no vampire! Eather let go of me Or I Will Break your arm!" Vera violently said, her Yellow eyes glowing.

"........ Alexandria! Dont look at me you wont like it...."

 

Vera looked at the vampire, as she began to bend his hand away from her neck, "If you want to die Then be my guest, dont underestimate me! I Might as well be another spicies compared to you!" Vera Telled as she punched the tall Vampire sending him in to the wall, the guards sudenly tenced thinking she was goint to turn and attack them, but vera walked back to the cage as the sun flared behind her she looked at them her eyes glowing, just a look that says Give me the chance and ill Kill you all.

 

"Children like you should get out of the sun!" Vera mocked at The vampire as black spots started to appear on his boddy while her and Alexandria remained, She climed in to the cage and sat next to her daughter, In contrast to the fear she gave to the soildiers, she was greatly weakened with that display of power as she used her own energy to fuel her attack.

 

Vera began to notice that he may have blocked off her ability to reach out and drain with her mind, but What about her ability to bite people, she had not done it for a while and was not shure.

As Eden hit the floor hard, in his mind that was a good of a wake up call then anything else. "Ahhh" He screamed in pain as his face meet in contact with the floor and his lags entangled with the Chair he tried over not even knowing it was there in the first place. But just as fast as he got to the ground he got up just as fast. "I'm Okay... I'm Okay..." He said repetitively as he dusted him self off. "Someone put a light on before I kill my self." He looked back to where he was going and re-found Corey and Cougar. "Okay maybe I am not that fine. But still fine enough. How the hell do I get out of here?"

Akima had reddened as the young girl Elizabeth and a talking wolf named Kojo easily figured out that he was in love with Kallen and said it right out in the open, and in front of Koya too. He was looking at his feet completely red in the face.

 

Cougar sat down in a chair and looked to Corey, "So tell me... what's wrong with him?"

 

Kyou turned to the Professor who was looking away, "Professor, I know this may sound as a strange request, but would you mind acting as a lookout for me?" As she spoke she walked down to the water and removed her robe, underneath it was a ninja-like uniform. She started to remove it and then looked back at the professor and stopped, "Please sir, I'd like some privacy."

Vera looked over her shoulder and told her daughter to turn away, fearing she wouldn't like that she saw her mother do, and then she began to bend his hand away from her wrist, "If you want to die . . . then be my guest, don't underestimate me!"

 

Vera gave a loud scream as she slugged the man with a powerful punch, much, more powerful than the man had expected, and sent him crashing into the wall; though the wall somehow withstood the impact. Each guard tensed as she walked back to her daughter and knelt down, not sure what to do since their commander had been so easily knocked aside. Vera looked at them, her eyes shimmering a golden yellow, and relayed the intent to kill if bothered again.

 

Yaming was begging Josh not to leave again as she clung to him and said his powers would be fine, that he didn't need to leave her for something like that, but stopped once they heard a laugh. Both looked to see Destined, Kyba and Darren come over the hill.

Josh nodded his head to them, ignoring Destined's taunt, and bid them a good evening. He was enjoying his time with Yaming, but refused for someone like Destined to spoil it. Josh looked up at the moon, then back to Yaming, and leanded his head on her shoulder with a content sigh, "Destined? Could you put that flame out? It's really destroying this perfect night."

 

Scoffing that Josh was able to keep his cool, and even laughed as he asked for the light to be put out, so Destined decided to should seek someone who could be a bit more 'entertaining' and left the two alone. Walking down the hill he could see the Professor and Kyou on the hill- not someone he considered 'good for breif entertainment' and moved on. Kyou turned to the Professor, who was looking away, and asked him a favor, "Professor? I know this may sound as a strange request, but would you mind acting as a lookout for me?"

He dusted him self off and asked for some light, which Corey lite the lanturn, as Eden quickly fell again, and then answered rather emberrassedly, "Okay . . . maybe I'm not okay. But still fine enough to get out of here."

 

"So tell me, what is wrong with him?" Cougar asked Corey as he sat down in a chair. Corey shook his head, watching Eden continue to leave, and told Cougar that from what James had said he was sufforing from a severe concussion and shouldn't be able to walk for another day. Laughing under his breath and noted Eden as he stumbled out of the tent, "I guess that maybe sometimes the doctor isn't always right."

 

"I might as well be set free if that was the best you got," Vera mocked at the commander as the last few bricks fell onto the pile he had been burried underneath.Just like the soldiers, who were afraid for the commander, Alexandera was also fearful of her mother's condition. She was greatly weakened with that display of power, having to rely on her own energy to fuel her attack, and might not be able to remain concious for much longer. A slow rumbling sound resonated throughout the dungeon and Vera began to notice that, possibly, the commander may have blocked off most of her attack's impact. Her ability to reach out and drain with her mind had been somehow cancelled, but there was a slim chance her ability to bite people hadn't. With a loud roar the commander burst out of the rocks and grinned, his red eyes not glowing under hos hood, and the curved horned revealed.

 

"Let such a pretty thing as you go? Don't count on it," with a snap of his fingers the collar on Alexandera began to electrocute her and she writhed in pain as he man laughed, "I am the third commander of the Southern Army. And your new master. Any questions?"

 

The man taunted Vera as her daughter screamed in pain, the electricity coarsing through her. With the tension rising in the Slave Compound one could hardly believe there is any romance out there- yet Akima had began to turn red as Elizabeth and Kojo easily figured out that he was in love with Kallen. But what made matters worse for him was that they said it right out in the open and in front of Koya too. He was looking at his feet completely red in the face. Kojo quickly noticed the young man's emberrassement and told Beth to leave them for a bit, which she reluctantly did, and once alone Kojo sat down next to Akima, "You man . . . feelings like this should be held in reserve."

 

"Feeling?" Koya asked, finally getting used to the talking wolf-animal-thing, "What feelings?"

Black had left the battlefield, that had been, and was sitting on one of the tents. He stared up at the moon and let a genuine smile cross his face. . He warped off the tent, and voted against reading. Instead, he would take a walk and enjoy this nice not too hot or cold night. He thought, . He walked off into an area with no one around.

 

Saul stood next to Professor Bill now, ignoring the fact that Kyou was behind him. He managed to remain rather calm in most every situation. "Sir, don't turn around." He said as he looked forward, not even blinking.

Kyou smiled to herself as she walked into the water until she was covered, "Don't worry Professor, I'm in the water." *Why is Saul here, all I want is to feel the water as I do up in the mountains. A little privacy, is that too much? The Professor is an honorable man who wouldn't do such a lowly thing as peek, but Saul, I don't know enough about him to make a judgment call.* She closed her eyes and let herself sink beneath the surface, reveling in the exquisite feeling.

 

Cougar smiled at Corey and started laughing, "Should we go get him? He doesn't even know that if he's looking for Kyou he's going the wrong way." He stood up and stretched a bit before gesturing for Corey to take the lead.

 

Akima looked down at the Kojo the wolf and completely forgot that Koya was standing only a few feet away and listening to every word, "Well it's not really that easy, you see I'm not sure what she feels, or if she feels anything. And, well, I don't want to risk it."

Kojo gave almost a hyenia laugh, though lower, and shook his head. His long flowing mane shaking sparked and crackled as his head moved and Akima and Koya could feel the hairs on their arms stand up, "Dear lad . . . that you should not be concerned with. If love is true then it will be revealed at its proper time. A flower does not bloom when the butterfly demands, but it blooms with the butterfly is ready."

 

"Should we? I say let him keep going his own way," Corey said following Eden, "After all I want to see where he ends up. Might be fun."

 

Corey laughed as he left the tent and continued to follow- leaving James and Ichiro alone. Walking through the complex Corey spotted Black and merely gave a nod, while he also saw someone running up a hill and could onyl wonder what that person was doing.

 

"Don't worry Professor. I'm in the water," Kyou said as the submerged everything below her neck. He merely nodded and continued to keep watch, not wanting to turn back in case she decided to resurface, and didn't notice someone running up the hill. Turning to talk to Saul, who he had hoped was honorable enough not to sneak a peek, the Professor stopped when a sock hit his face and he heard Amber scream at the top of her lungs, "Cannon Ball!!!"

 

A giant splash soaked both of the man to the bone as Amber popped her head out of the water and laughed, asking Elizabeth if she was going to join them. She younger women smiled and grabbed the bottom of her shirt as she leapt ontop of her, making another loud splash that soaked Saul and the Professor. Spitting some water out the Professor smiled, "Well this was more than I expected."

"Y-You Bastard!" Vera Roared!

 

Vera turned to the man that had talked to her, "You wana be free!?" She screamed again!

 

"Y-Yes Please any thing!" The man was barely able to say before Vera sank her bangs Sank into his neck, she drained almost half his blood, she got up and a force of energy raises the air around her.

 

A drop of blood fell from her mouth, as she gripped the collar around her neck she tears it off it explodes but with out killing effect, the smoke clears her face mangled and black but a smile on her face her face slowly begins to regenerate, She walks over to her daughter and does the same to her daughter, It explodes but Vera moves the bomb away, with her daughter barely getting hurt but she regenerates too.

 

Vera Jolts her slowly regenerating face towards the commander, with a skin curdling laugh, "I’m going to kill you now, I was just gona leave you alone but you had to funk with my daughter!"

As Eden managed to stumble outside of the tent finally he still felt a little light headed and somewhat still drowsy. He dissided to try and find the others or at least Lee or Kyou. But something hit him, he did not know where they where or how he was going to get to them. But the next thing he knew he blacked out, again right out in front of the tent, falling face first in to the ground again.

Akima looked at Kojo utterly puzzled, "Okay, but how will I know when it's ready?" He sat down infront of the wolf.

 

Kyou was startled by the sudden rapid movement of the water and froze it all, luckily with both girl's heads above the it. She was in a cocoon of ice and slowly transported herself to the surface. Once there she stopped so that only her head and shoulders were showing. Then she saw the girls, "What on earth... Professor, I thought you were going to watch out for me?" She was slightly annoyed as she looked at the two girls trapped in the frozen water.

 

Cougar shook his head at Corey when he saw Eden collapse, "Yeah, sure we should just let him go and see where he ends up... Brilliant Corey, just brilliant." He went to Eden and picked him up, "Well at least he's a persistent ass, that'll help him a lot with Kyou."

As Cougar started to pick up the limp-less body that now lay on the ground. A jolt of Electricity jumped from Eden to Cougar shocking him in probably the most painful way possible. But as that happened Eden barley had any control over his power.

Josh wasn't Paying any attetion to what was going on with the other's at the moment. Yaming had wondered off for the moment, with alittle help form the other's distracting her with....what ever it was they where doing.She had gone to she what was happening, and had tryed to get Josh to come with her. < Man that women think's I'm going to vanish, as soon as she turn's around>, Josh thought to him self. Josh closed his eye's and listened to the sound's around him, his own beating heart was a stranger to him. < I feel like an intruder in some one's home in this new body of my'n.> He tought as he open and closed his fist's, eye's still closed. < hmm ....soon i'll have to test it out.> He said finaly opening his eye's to she Yaming returning to his side. " Well I'm still here and your back alot quicker than expected." He said as she raped around his arm once more.

OoC: This is my first post here, and I'm not exactly sure what's going on yet. Forgive me, please.

 

Bellis finally saw the camp. She had been in this dimension for about a week, even though she didn't count the days. Bellis had been sent to the Southern Rebels Camp to give a message of some sort, even though she was never told what it was. The only thing she knew was that when she got there, something would happen immediately. Attempting to get a glimpse of the future, an unbearable flare of pain shot through her brain.

 

Right now, the camp was just a bright speck to Bellis. It grew slowly, but she was still about a kilometer away from it. Her legs were growing weary by now, but this sight had increased her morale. After an hour's walk, she would be there.

"Dear lad . . . that you should not be concerned with. If love is true then it will be revealed at its proper time. A flower does not bloom when the butterfly demands, but it blooms with the butterfly is ready."

 

Akima looked at Kojo utterly puzzled, "Okay, but how will I know when it's ready?"

 

He sat down infront of the wolf as it shook its mane again, sparks crackeling off with an array of colors, and then glanced back at Akima, "You won't know."

 

"Cannon Ball!!!"

 

A giant splash soaked both of the man to the bone as Amber popped her head out of the water and laughed, asking Elizabeth if she was going to join them. She younger women smiled and grabbed the bottom of her shirt as she leapt ontop of her, making another loud splash that soaked Saul and the Professor. The splashes startled Kyou and she quickly froze the water as each girl popped their head out of the water. Spitting some water out the Professor smiled, "Well this was more than I expected."

 

Once she saw the girls Kyou scowled, "What on Earth? Professor, I thought you were going to watch out for me?"

 

"I didn't even see them coming," the Professor said with a grin, not turning around again.

 

Eden had managed to stumble outside of the tent, but he still felt a little light headed and drowsy. The next thing he knew he blacked out again right out in front of the tent and fell face first in to the ground again. Cougar shook his head at Corey when he saw Eden collapse, "Yeah, sure we should just let him go and see where he ends up . . . Brilliant Corey, just brilliant."

 

Corey chuckled as he followed Cougar, who went to Eden and picked him up, "Well at least he's a persistent ass, that'll help him a lot with Kyou."

 

Finally seeing the camp Bellis gave a sigh of relief; she had been in this dimension for about a week and yet she had been sent to the Southern Rebels Camp to give a message of some sort. Even though she was never told what it was, what other choice did she have? The only thing she knew was that when she got there, something would happen immediately. Little did she know it was Josh and Yaming she was heading towards. JOsh hadn't been paying attention to what was going on, since he was waiting for Yaming to return. Josh closed his eyes and listened to the sounds around him, his own heart beating was strange to him, "I feel like an intruder in someone else's home." He finally opening his eyes to see Yaming returning to his side, " Well I'm still here and your back alot quicker than expected."

 

"Well, it wasn't a long ways away," Yaming answered as she wrapped around his arm again.

Akima sighed and held his head in his hands, "Then what do I do?" He was on the verge of tears, but still oblivious of Koya standing feet away.

 

Kyou glared at the Professor for a moment and looked to the two girls she'd trapped in the water, "You're lucky your heads were above the surface when I froze it." She slowly unfroze the water and leaned back against a large rock that stuck out of the water, "Well looks like it won't be as relaxing as I'd hoped, but it's better than nothing."

 

Cougar smiled and laughed as he carried an unconscious Eden into the medical tent, "So where do I put him?"

Bellis saw two figures atop the hill, and redirected herself towards them. She hoped they wouldn't threaten her. Bellis took a quick glance at the near future, but again felt a surge of electric pain. I should be invisible right now, thought Bellis. It would've helped my cover. Nevertheless, she continued her walk towards the hill, and finally approached them. She tried glancing at the future again, and fell to the ground in agonizing pain.

Josh heard the sound of some one hitting the ground and started to look around. Only to gaze across a girl at the bottom of a hill. Josh rushed over Yaming not to fare behind him. " ARE you ok!!" JOsh said as Yaming slide beside him and this new girl laying on the ground. "DO you know her? " Josh said as they laid this new commer on her back. " Just lie still." Josh said as Yaming and him Rolled her over on her back. " Yaming i'll get the other's attetion "he said. Befor Yaming could reply Josh pulled his energy and shot a blast up in to the air, but what he didn't expect was that it was mutch bigger, and brighter than expected. Then he shot up another one, to hit and make the first one explode. The explosion was huge. Josh was standing their looking up, then he said " oop's." He said , then looked back to this new girl they had just found on te ground.

As Bellis creapt closer, under the cover of her invisibility, Josh heard the sound of the grass swaying and looked around expecting to see a deer or another creature meant to be there. Pausing for a minute, forgetting that she had turned invisible, Bellis regained her composure and continued her walk towards them. She tried glancing at the future again and fell to the ground in agonizing pain which had reverting back to her a seeable state. Finally able to see the girl tople over Josh rushed over to check on her, with Yaming not to far behind him, "Are you ok!?"

 

Akima looked at Kojo utterly puzzled, "Okay, but how will I know when it's ready?"

 

Akima had been questioning the wolf-creautre on love for a while now. Each time Kojo would answer in a riddle or simply say he wasn't ready. Akima sighed and held his head in his hands, "Then what do I do?"

Seeing his friend in tears Koya shook him and asked what was the matter, which Kojo simply explained the situation as if he was speaking to a little child, and Koya turned almost to ask if it was true. But when he saaw Akima's flustered expression he already had his question and he gave a confident laugh before slapping his friend's back, "Just tell her dude! Its that simple . . . don't over think these kind of things."

 

"Do you know her?" Josh asked as Yaming knelt down beside him as he examined the new girl who had passed out, from what he could see she was just tired, but she still needed medical attention by a professional. Slowly moving Bellis, Yaming told her that she should stay still and easied her until she was lying on her back.

 

"Yaming, I'll get the others," and before she could reply Josh pulled his energy and shot a blast up in to the air, but what he didn't expect was that it was mutch bigger and brighter than expected. Josh looked up and then, a bit emberrassed, "Ummm . . . was that was alittle bit to much, hu?"

 

Yaming just simply nodded her head as the light still shone bright in the night sky. It wasn't long before they could see Titanium and a man in a black tuxedo heading their way.

 

"What on Earth? Professor, I thought you were going to watch out for me?"

"W-We-We'll be . . . be qu-quite," Elizabeth promised as she scooted away from Kyou, a bit afraid of her now. Corey chuckled as he followed Cougar, who went to Eden and picked him up, "Well at least he's a persistent ass, that'll help him a lot with Kyou."

 

Cougar smiled and laughed as he carried an unconscious Eden into the medical tent, "So where do I put him?"

 

"Just over there," Corey said pointing to a small cot in the far corner. Something out of the corner of his eye then caught his attention- a signal flare from someone . . .

In Vera's rage she managed to suprass the devices capabilities and drain the soldier's energy. With another hard punch she slammed her fist into the commander, but stopped when she saw he had managed to catch it.

 

"Kitty has claws," he said with a grin then raised to show he would electorcute Alexandra again, "This will go much smoother if you cooperate my dear."

 

By now each soldier had recovered enough to stand up and point their guns at her, with a few pointed towards Alexandra. The device had managed to cut off her powers once again, having readjusted, and she felt herself becoming weaker again.

Bellis flickered back into sight, and looked up at the two faces staring at her, concerned. Hoping they wouldn't hurt her, Bellis dare not take another glimpse at the future. She had been abusing her abilities lately. It was a likely cause for this strange problem. Finally, Bellis got to her feet, despite what Josh said. A slight shock of pain pulsed through her body.

 

"I'm... I'm fine, I guess. Somebody sent me here, but I don't know why. Perhaps you know?"

 

Bellis brushed herself off, eying the two reluctantly.
