Cougar nodded, "I wasn't expecting one, I was just trying to make my own apology regardless." He looked down at Natalie, "Why are you so surprised?" She looked back up at him, "Where did all this tolerance come from?" Cougar laughed again, "Well I've been thinking, if you could forgive him when you almost died, why couldn't I."

 

Alisa also took notice of the two ahead of them, but continued asking, "I wanted to know if you were allowed to know what I know about Kiria."

 

Aya was on her knees trying to get control of herself when suddenly her notebook opened again and started to write another story. Aya looked at it and fell back in shock, she screamed, "Lora there's two people coming right for us and one of them is already thinking of how to kill us!!!"

 

Kiria stood and his eyes burned, "I have no reason to follow you anymore!!!" He summoned the Buster Sword in his right hand, "If you want me to obey then you have two choices: give me a reason, or try and kill me!" Kiria was obviously serious, there was no joke in his eyes he was ready to fight, even to kill the General.

 

Todou smiled, "Well, a name, we need a name! Who is it?" He even sat down to show how willing he was to wait and listen. He even gestured for Koya to sit down.

[Blake]

Black clapped "Bravo" He said in an overtly sarcastic tone. "You two made up. Now, let's go do tea." He chuckled under his breath. "We have bigger problems than that." He said, turning solemn. "Like what happens if we run into those people again?" He gave them all a look of 'Well?'

[Jake the Sage]

Koya's face turned completely red, "It maybe Lora and it might not be . . ." he finally said.

 

"How are you uncle," Lora said as she grabbed the old withered man's hands. She then heard Aya and whirrled around, "What!? Oh no . . . my home town is near here!!!"

 

"I know of his relation to Catherine, yes," Ike said as he saw more blips appear in his radar, "If that is what you were reffering too."

 

"I have no reason to follow you anymore!!!" He summoned the Buster Sword in his right hand, "If you want me to obey then you have two choices: give me a reason, or try and kill me!" Kiria was obviously serious, there was no joke in his eyes he was ready to fight, even to kill the General. But the General had left by now, leaving Kiria with Andrew, who merely moved his glasses a bit.

 

"Ready to go?" he said as if he never saw nor heard the fighting.

Todou smiled his kind smile and put his hand on Koya's shoulder, "Well be careful there, you'll have to convince Kallen before you ever make a move on Lora. And to that I wish you good luck." With that he stood up and walked away.

 

Aya was scared and happy at the same time, "Can we go see it quick before we leave?"

 

Alisa shook her head, "No I'm refering to his origins. Do you Security Clearance above A Class?" She focused on the targets, "Remember we're not supposed to kill them unles they're on the list." She spoke sternly to Ike, Alisa followed rules although Ike didn't always.

 

Kiria swung the blade and the wall on his right blew up and he could then see through to the outside. He then dispersed the Buster Sword and turned to face Andrew, "Protect yourself." Kiria turned his back on Andrew and walked throught the hole, his guard was still up and he was ready incase Andrew attacked him. There was nothing Kiria would like better now that a fight.

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

A rustle in the treetops had made things more ominous for the group then they actually had to be. After all, it could have been anyone at this point. Western Military, Alamos returning from his information gathering, a passerby, or just some random animal. The rustling in the tree tops settled but now the bushes made slight sound but not for to long as Alamos just abruptly walked out and rejoined the group. "I have just talked with the Commander of the Northern Army. He agreed to offer some troops and weaponry within reason. There also four ammo crates that you are to bring back to the resistance headquarters." Alamos seemed troubled with something and after a few more seconds he decided to unveil the information he had. "Betsiu has passed..." He said, with no emotional change in his voice at all.

Omar had stopped laughing by now as Koya glared at him. "I didn't know you liked little gi-"

 

Koya had began to choke him, though not to harm him, "I don't love her THAT way!!!"

 

"Protect yourself." Kiria turned his back on Andrew and walked throught the hole, his guard was still up and he was ready incase Andrew attacked him. There was nothing Kiria would like better now that a fight. Andrew merely watched as Kiria vanished from sight. He moved his glasses and then radioed the General, "He fell for it."

"I am not clear on the exact details," Ike said as he registered at least thirty two people, "Most are harmless humans."

 

"Can we go see it quick before we leave?"

 

"Of course," Lora said as the old man gave a smile, "I have to pick some thing up anyways."

 

"Well hello there young lady," the geezer said as he smiled at Aya, "My name is Plato. I'm lady Lora's godfather, but she merely calls me her uncle."

Koya stopped choking Omar, who was turning blue, and looked at Alamos. Leaping up he walked over to him, "Really? Just like that?"

"I know, it's strange for Betsiu to just up and die like this. Especially since the only way to kill him is freezing his bloodstream instantaneously. And another thing..." He said that and took a quick breath so he could finished what he was saying. "The weaponry remains I found near his leftover body weren't Western Military weapons. In fact it was like something I had never seen at all." Alamos said, could they have a new enemy on their hands or was it just a coincidence. "Another thing, the general want's a favor from you all if he helps us."

[Jake the Sage]

"The Northern General?" Omar asked as he stood up, rubbing his throat. He hadn't heard about Besui's death and never mentioned it.

 

"What favor does he want?" Yaming said coming back from her walk.

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

"I have know idea, said he wanted to tell ya bout it personally." Alamos said as he started to walk from the group but then turned around. "By the by, I won't be accompanying you to the North." Alamos said and then sighed. "I have to inform Betsiu's family of the incident and make sure they have everything they need to arrange his funeral. I've recovered the body already so it shouldn't be to much of hassle getting things together." Alamos explained, looking into the sky then back at the group. "My first in command will be accompanying you, he's on assignment right now but just keep walking North and you'll find him eventually." Alamos said and then suddenly disappeared...

[Tempest Dahlia]

Destined looked coldly at Black but remained silent. Lucifer remained in his dormant state.

"We fight," Destined said simply. "At least, l will..."

" well i say go for it...the more of you who die the more friends that can hear and see me." Josh said with sick humor.

Kiria stood out in the cool air thinking, *Why does the General want me here? It makes no sense, he knows that I could wipe them all out easily, so why doesn't he?* he leapt onto the top of a nearby stone structure to think.

 

Alisa shook her head, "Well he's not human like you thought, or at least not completely. Do you know of the Shinra SOLDIER program?" Alisa got ahead of Ike and stopped him, "I'll tell you now, and if those three people move then we'll chase them down ok?" She stood in his way waiting for an answer.

 

Aya stepped back behind Lora shyly, "Uh, h-hi. I-I'm A-Aya." Then she whispered into Lora's ear, "Lora my book is saying that there are two people coming, and one intends to kill us. The other is waiting for more information about us." Aya was oth shy fromt the man who was Lora's 'uncle' and she was afraid of the two people who were coming after them.

 

Cougar and Natalie were aware of Alamos' return and message, but they simply snuggled closer together and kissed. To everyone around them they seemed to be oblivious and uncaring.

 

Akima was still sitting in the woods waiting for Lora and Aya to come back, *Where are those two? Why don't they come back?*

 

Todou was walking around after Alamos delivered his message and he found Kallen sleeping against a tree. *Well at least she's resting. I wonder where Lora is?*

It had been decided come morning everyone would head out for the North. So everyone had a days more rest before the long voyage. Koya had forgotten about the emberrassing conversation and had found Akima standing alone. Yaming joined Koya as he went towards him, "What are you so worried about?"

 

"We can tell by the way you look," Yaming said as she leaned close to him.

 

"Are you two dating?" Omar, who had decided that being close to Koya would be hazardious to his health, asked Natalie and Cougar as they layed in each others arms. Meanwhile, Aya had stepped behind Lora shyly, "Uh, h-hi. I-I'm A-Aya."

 

She then whispered into Lora's ear, "Lora my book is saying that there are two people coming, and one intends to kill us. The other is waiting for more information about us." Aya was shy towards Lora's 'uncle' and she was afraid of the two people who were coming after them.

 

"Hush . . . I heard you. We will grab something quickly and be gone before we head back before they even get here." she replied as her 'uncle' began to walk away.

 

Alisa shook her head, "Well he's not human like you thought, or at least not completely. Do you know of the Shinra Soldier Program?" Alisa got ahead of Ike and stopped him, "I'll tell you now, and if those three people move then we'll chase them down ok?"

 

She stood in his way waiting for an answer as Ike tracked the three people, not paying attention to Alisa in the least bit, "They're moving . . . lets go!"

 

Before she could answer he was hurrying off.

Akima looked to Koya and Yaming, "I'm waiting because Lora ran off and teleported away with Aya, and since it's impossible to track teleportation I'm waiting because I can redirect her teleportation to bring her back here if she goes to do it again. I'm worried for Lora and because if Kallen wakes up before she gets back Kallen will kill me."

 

Natalie laughed, "No, we're just waiting for all this chaos to die down." She raised her left hand and there was an engagement ring on it, "See. Why do you ask?"

 

Alisa shook her head and ran after him catching up to Ike quickly, "Fine let's get this done, but then you WILL listen to me." She easliy outpaced Ike and headed toward Lora, Aya, and Lora's 'uncle' much faster then they'd expect.

 

Aya nodded, "Ok, but let's please make it fast." Aya was more nervous than a cornered rabbit. Then she watched as the story changed, "Oh no! Now they're moving faster. It's as if they know that we're close to leaving. Lora we need to get going."

 

Kiria was sitting on top of a large rock formation when he noticed Alisa and Ike off in the distance and came to a decision, *Fine then, if the General thinks that they're more capable that me, I'll test them myself. If they pass I'll stand aside and accept the General's decision and move on, if not I'll eliminate them and do the job myself.* He stood up and stepped off. He landed to the ground 30ft below with the ground collapsing beneath him creating a small crater. Then Kiria leapt forward and ran after Alisa and Ike, fast enough that he'd catch up to them before they got to Lora and Aya.

"Ok, but let's please make it fast." she had become more nervous than a cornered rabbit and then noticed her notebook write something else. Reading it she became paniced, "Lora! They're moving faster! It's as if they know that we're close to leaving . . . Lora we need to get going. Please!?"

 

Lora had heard Aya and nodded her head, but turned back to her uncle. Asking about some kind of fruit the man gave a wrinkled smile and pulled out a small basket with spotted fruit inside from his cloak. Lora took it and gave him a hug before turning back around, holding the basket up for Aya too see, "Misison complete! We can get ou-"

 

Akima had been confronted by Yaming and Koya, who had seen himpacing nerviously. He hadn't talked and his concentration broke when each spoke. He explained the situation and that he was waiting for her to teleport so he could force her back. One thing he had said interested Yaming, "What do you mean its impossible to track teleportation?"

 

"He means he doesn't know where they are."

 

"Well I can track them," Yaming said to the others suprise. Giving a smile her powers manifested around her hands, "I'll even go a bit farther for you Akima . . . I'll bring them back."

 

As Ike and Alisa dashed towards were Lora and Aya where, Kiria had been sitting on top of a large rock formation. Spotting the two would-be assassines he made up his mind. He would test them and, if they failed, kill them and take the assighnment himself. Leaping off the cliff he landed to the ground 30ft below, creating a small crater as he stood back up. Popping his shoulder he crouched down and then leapt forward, ran after Alisa and Ike fast enough that he'd catch up to them before they got to their targets.

 

Yaming snapped her fingers and a a cloud of smoke formed with two figures. Yaming's aura faded as did the smoke, showing Lora and Aya standing in front of them. Neither had realized what happened, "-t of here!"

 

"Hey girls," Koya called out to them and gave a laugh at the stunned look on their face as they glanced around, completely confused on how they got there. Yaming had to sit down as he breathed heavy, for some reason using her powers was starting to take alot out of her.

 

"Fine let's get this done, but then you WILL listen to me." She easliy outpaced Ike and headed toward Lora, Aya, and Lora's 'uncle' much faster then they'd expect. As the android ran Ike grabbed her shoulder, forcing her to stop.

 

"They've vanished," he said coldly as his sensors picked up another Super on his radar, "Besides . . . we have another problem to deal with."

Omar nodded his head and reached and took Natalie's hand in his, turning it and looking at the diamond stone resting inside the frame. He smiled and released her hand, "I see . . . so you two are engaged."

 

"Yes. Why do you ask?"

 

"Well," Omar said as he leaned back, "I don't know much about you two- or most of the people here. I just started to wonder what your lives were like before all of . . . this."

[-Genesis-]

Akima relaxed, "Thanks Yaming. Lora where did you do and why'd you take Aya?" Akima looked down sternly at them. It was kind of obvious that he'd been worried.

 

Alisa looked to Ike confused, "Wait what? They teleported? Behind us?" She was immediately on guard, looking to Ike's face for more information.

 

Kiria could see that they'd stopped and slowed a bit so that they wouldn't yet see him as threat. Then he thought to himself that Ike would probably consider him a threat even if they just walked by each other in a crowded hallway. *Well it can't hurt.*

 

As Natalie was about to respond to Omar Cougar tickled Natalie's ribs, she burst out laughing, "Cougar stop I'm trying to be polite. Well Omar I don't know about Cougar, but for a long time I was a prisoner of the Southern Military. They would do experiments on me and torture me, it was enough that there were many times where I hoped that they'd go just a bit too far in the torture and kill me by accident. That was until Cougar came..." Cougar sat there and told his part of the story, "Well I was with a group of my friends and we'd gotten fed up with the Southern Military and their experiments so we attacked it the plan to free the prisoners, no matter who they were." Natalie started speaking again, "At the time of their attack I was being tortured, when suddenly the far wall caved in and standing in its place was Cougar and his friend Peter. They attacked the 'doctors' without hesitation, and when they came to me I was in too much pain to even sit up. So Peter picked me up and carried me out with Cougar close behind. As we went, we met up with Peter's wife Charlotte, she had bad news; the others had escaped but their original exit was blocked and there were soldiers coming not far behind her." Cougar looked up at Omar and continued the story, "So we set out for our backup exit, but just as we reached it the patrol caught up to us. Peter handed Natalie over to me and yelled for me to go... I did and as Charlotte followed me out a bullet went right through her back and chest. She was dead on the spot, Peter went berserk his power was that he could turn his body into metal, our nickname for him was 'Hammer', he turned back to the soldiers and attacked. He screamed back to me to get her, that is Natalie, out of there or everything we gone there to do would have been for nothing. Instead I took a step toward him and the soldiers, but Peter spun around and threw me out through the exit, it was all I could do to hold onto her." Cougar paused before going on, "After that Natalie and I went our separate ways, until three years ago. We met accidentally in an inn and we just sat down and talked. Neither of us recognized the other until I saw that scar on the left just below her collarbone," Cougar paused again this time to point out Natalie's scar, "After that we spent time together constantly, and eventually we fell in love." Natalie smiled, "Actually the day Cougar gave me this ring was at a anniversary celebration in commemoration for Peter and Charlotte."

As Natalie and Cougar finished revealing their heartbreaking story Omar was forcing himself not to cry. He gave them a smile and said he was glad that they were happy together and knew that Peter and Charlotte would be happy for them.

 

"W-Well . . . its a secret, I can't tell," Lora said as she took hold of Aya's hand and ran off back into the camp. Koya and Yaming laughed as Akima chased after them like a parent trying to get his kids so they could leave an amusement park.

 

"Think he'll catch them?"

 

"Eventually . . ."

 

"Wait what? They teleported? Behind us?" She was immediately on guard, looking to Ike's face for more information but Ike's face showed no emotion, if it ever had. He was calculating in his head and then shook it at Alisa's question.

 

"No, our targets escaped. However this new Super is not one of them. He is one of us." Ike said as he turned around to face the general direction Kiria was in. His sensors had locked onto him and now all he was doing was waiting for Kiria to reveal himself.

Natalie and Cougar each nodded their thanks for Omar's kind words then went back to their little bit of paradise.

 

Aya found it fun as they ran from Akima. Akima was frustrated and simply stopped chasing them and walked away toward the main camp.

 

Alisa relaxed her stance and looked at Ike curiously, "Well then who is it? Andrew? Or someone else?" She waited a second, "This doesn't have anything to do with your other assignment does it? The one I'm not allowed to know."

 

Kiria decided to surprise them so he focused his energy and disappeared completely.

Ike had ignored Alisa so he could concentrate on Kiria, who attempted to make his energy disappear. However no ammount of training could hide him from Ike's sensors and he turned his head in the new direction, "I do not understand why . . . but Kiria has disobeyed orders and followed us."

 

Akima had gotten so frustrated he simply decided and chose to stop chasing them, deciding to walk back toward the main camp. Seeing Akima stop Aya and Lora laughed knowing they had managed to outrun him. Lora held out the basket and gave a grin, "Do you know how to cook?"

 

Letting Natalie and Cougar return to their bliss Omar laid down on the grass as the smell of a fire going wafted by him. Sniffing it he remembered his old life before the funnel in the sky had brought him to this world. He had been nothing more than a high school kid trying to fit in and going camping with his family during summer vacations. "Oh how everythings changed . . ."

Alisa was confused, "But why what does he want?"

 

Kiria realized that Ike was a tracker, and a gifted one at that, so he decided to focus on speed and he appeared standing calmly behind Ike and Alisa. "Hello there, mind if I join you?"

 

Alisa whirled around ready for a fight, but held back, waiting. She made sure to never make the first move against an opponent unless it was an unseen move.

 

Aya shook her head, "No not really, Catherine did all that. She took really good care of me." She packed away her notebook and smiled, "So what now?"

 

Although Lora and Aya thought that Akima'd given up he'd actually come up with a better idea. He walked up on Todou and spoke, "Hey wanna help me catch Lora before Kallen wakes up?" Todou smiled, "Alright what are the rules?" Akima smirked, "Well simply, no powers. So shall we." With that the two of them ran off into the woods to sneak up on Aya and Lora.

Akima had decided to continue the 'game' of catching Lora and Aya and was attempting to enlist Todou's aid. The scientists merely smiled, "Alright what are the rules?"

 

"Well simply, no powers. So shall we?"

 

"I think I'll join in."

 

"Me too . . ." Yaming and Omar had walked in two the group as Lt Tyler shook his head, laughing internally at how they could have fun even during a war. Yaming was raring to go and Koya popped his knuckles with excitement. With that theyran off into the woods to sneak up on Aya and Lora.

 

Lora held out the basket and gave a grin, "Do you know how to cook?"

 

"No not really, Catherine did all that. She took really good care of me," Aya packed away her notebook and smiled, "So what now?"

 

"Well we got the fire going," Lora said glancing to the crackeling blaze that they had managed to lite, "Now we need something to cook with. A pot or pan . . . but we can't let anyone see us. Ok?"

[Freeman The Master]

As Eden was walking across the small temporary camp, He was finally ready for some rest. But the damnedest thing, and most likely for his luck he could not get asleep. He laid on the ground for the longest time intill he just gave up. Now he was walking around the camp trying to tire him self out, just by walking but thats never going to happen. But as soon as he passed Todou and Akima he over hired them both talking about catching someone. "Lora hu..." He paused for a moment, "Maybe a show will get me tired." He said out loud but not loud enough for anyone to hire. So he stayed out of there business but kept on watching.
